I came to King Nail last minute and they were kind enough to take me, which I really appreciated. That said, the salon could definitely use a deep clean -- everything looked a bit dusty and worn down. The pedicure chairs were stained, and the gel lamps looked like they hadn't been wiped in a while. They also don't use name-brand products. The pedicure itself was decent, though they didn't remove all the dry skin. I had my dip nails soaked off, and my nails and skin felt rough afterward. The process took quite a while because they don't do hands and feet at the same time. I ended up just getting a regular manicure instead of dip because of the time. Overall, the technician did a nice job on my nails, but the cleanliness and efficiency could definitely be improved. read more

Finally found an amazing nail place in Ohio! I drove an hour to this place and it was everything and more. I had both my treatments done with Euin and she is a Gem! She was so meticulous and took her time to make sure everything was perfect and relaxing. The pedicure I got I think was called the spa pedicure and it came with hot towels and a foot mask pure bliss. Euin never rushed through the service and I loved that! They are design experts and have so many designs ! My designs were $3 each. They also have a special Japanese gel if you pay for it! It is supposedly stronger. I wanted to love this place. I really really did. One of the cleanest nail salons I've ever been to... BUT... my enthusiasm for this place was short lived. On my second (and last) visit, I made an appointment for 6 pm. I was not taken by someone until 645! I was late to the event I was attending, but I still tipped extra because the nail design I asked for was perfect. Alas, my fresh set of nails was short lived. The VERY NEXT MORNING my nails started peeling and chipping. I spent way too much $ for a design I could have used regular nail polish for on my own and had it last longer. Nope, nope, nope!! I am retracting my previous review. I've been in there three times now and every single time after three or four days. I've had at least one nail fall off. My latest time there after four days I had three nails fall off and on the seventh day another. I'm not rough with my nails, and I've never had that happen to me before. I have a busy schedule with little children so it was difficult for me to go back. When I did finally get the chance to go back in the lady was extremely rude and looked at me like I was crazy when I told her I needed three of my nails fixed. She told me I have to wait about an hour And I said OK well I can't because I'm going out of town and she completely ignored me. I will not be back and will not waste my money there ever again. I paid $70 for my nails and to have four of them fall off after a week is outrageous. read more

I chose to try King Nails because of the good reviews. I'm no expert in nail salons, but here's my first-time-customer point of view. The pros: Walk-in seems to be acceptable. The price was on par with my expectations: $35 for a basic pedicure. They did a nice job. The seats were comfortable. My cons: I know it was late afternoon when I arrived, but the floors were dirty everywhere. When I called to make an appointment they told me to come in at a certain time, but then hung up the phone without even asking for my name. I thought that was odd. No one was very helpful. They could have told me where my color choices were, because it wasn't clear what applied to a pedicure. Not bad, but I wouldn't bother to go there again. read more

I've never had such a positive experience in a salon in my whole life. I've always hesitated to get my nails done because I'm uncomfortable and don't know much about it. The staff is so skilled and happy to chat with you or let you sit quietly. Everything is kept very clean and there are beautiful arrays of all the polish colors and designs up everywhere. Only 5 employees working. Had JUST started on two customers when I was walking in. Hardly acknowledged my group except to ask if we had an appointment and tell us to sit down.
