Just purchased a vehicle here, living in WA. They honored the price as msrp during this crazy market. Steven Chambers, sales rep there, is incredibly professional and helpful. He even gave a great recommendation for transport and we got the vehicle in just 2 days, across the whole country! (I'm sure transport varies depending on availability). I've dealt with a lot of sales reps in my time, and Steven is one of the most professional. We were waitlisted for a rav4 Prime since March 2022 and he called us in July 2022 when one arrived. Kelly, the finance manager, is also very helpful in handling all the docs. Not as easy since we live several states over. I definitely recommend Luv Toyota, you won't encounter slimy sales tactics like other dealerships out there. read more

I absolutely do NOT recommend Luv Toyota. They were dishonest about what my warranty covered, and I have it in writing that they sold me the car under false claims--saying it would be covered by warranty when Toyota later confirmed it was not. I also cannot recommend Toyota as a brand. They knew about a defective cable and poor design, but instead of issuing a recall and notifying owners, they quietly extended the warranty without informing customers. My car is less than 3 years old and was purchased brand new, yet I'm left dealing with costly repairs for an issue they've long known about. Was told over and over they have a new software system and that my receipts would be emailed yet I never received any. I called multiple times for receipts and was told they're busy? Wow. After leaving w/vehicle and a 1 pg. summary receipt; I then had to go back into the dealer to get paper copy receipts as nothing electronic ever came. This is not a $5 purchase folks. If they have a undependable software system, they should still be giving all customers paper receipts along with the electronic versions. Very odd experience. I took my vehicle in for the 10k mile service. Something told me to mark my tires before I went there, I'm glad I did because they were never touched. The mechanic (tech pro) checked off that they were done. I had the service dept come out and showed him. The mechanic blatantly lied and said everything was done. My question was how do I know the synthetic oil was even changed since it's clear. How do I know the oil filter was even changed or the fuel additive that's due at 10,000 miles was even put in the tank. I've reported this issue to Toyota directly and also submitted a letter to Toyota corporate and haven't heard a word. If they can't do the simple things like a service the way it should be how are you supposed to trust them to do anything major? At the time of purchase they stressed on how Toyota's service is second to none I have to disagree. I can only imagine how many people go for service and just pay the bill and walk out assuming everything is done. I purchased a 2013 FJ Cruiser (Trail Teams edition) with just over 25k miles on it through phone, email, and mail on June 6, 2019 and had the vehicle shipped to Texas. I previously owned the exact same vehicle (year, color, version, etc.) so I was very familiar with what I expected from the vehicle mechanically even though I did not inspect it in person. Mechanically, the vehicle seemed ok, however, what was egregiously noticeable as the car came off the truck was the underbody rust. I had noted what seemed like an excessive amount of rust before when I sold my last FJ but this one was ridiculous. In addition to just about everything underneath from the frame to suspension components there was rust on the tow hitch, the driver side lower latch for the suicide door, and the driver seat bracket. It seemed strange to me that this was not mentioned at all in the several days that passed between when I asked about the car (and the condition) and paid for it. In addition to the corrosion, the car smelled like it had been deodorized but still smelled terrible, like some mix of weird cologne and cigarette smoker. 3 of the 4 tires were also not usable as they had sidewall cracks, which meant the vehicle would fail inspection. Given ALL of these things, I didn't even bother going back to LUV because it was still my own fault for not asking more questions about the condition of the tires and whether there was corrosion underneath. However, the day after getting the tires replaced, but before I could have it inspected, something fell off the bottom of the car and a clunking noise became noticeable. I did not drive this vehicle that much between it arriving and having the tires replaced so it wasn't like I went and did something that could have broken the car. Upon hearing the noise (less than 2 miles from home) we turned around and switched cars so as not to exacerbate the problem. The next day, looking under the vehicle I could clearly see a rounded out bolt hole where there was no bolt on the back of the wheel assembly where the brake attaches to the rear axle. After seeing this I called AAA to have the FJ towed to the nearest Toyota dealer. The dealer came back to me to say that the rounded hole made it unsafe to simply put a bolt back in and they thought someone had tried to fix it previously because the other bolt wasn't as corroded as the rest of the vehicle underneath. The only way to fix this was to replace the entire "rear axle assembly". This component costs $9000 new and $2750 for a salvage part plus labor for a total cost of around $11k and $4750 plus taxes. Having seen the problem I called the salesperson at LUV on July 1 to notify them that this vehicle could not be registered given the current problem. He told me he would talk to someone. A few days later I spoke to him again and he advised me to speak to Bud, the used car manager. Once I received a written estimate for the costs I forwarded this to the sales person Andrew, the finance manager Charles, and the used car manager Bud on July 12 and July 18 (in more detail). Since early July I have not heard anything from the dealer. New York State law requires the dealer to repair a vehicle or reimburse for the repair under a 4000 mile, 90 day warranty for a used car under 30,000 miles in which a significant problem is discovered that seriously causes "impaired value". This would be an obvious case for that. The alternative resolution would be for the dealer to replace the vehicle with a similar one or provide a full refund given an inability to repair the vehicle within 15 days (not including the time to procure parts). In addition to the cost of shipping the vehicle (~$1500) I also paid about $700 for the new tires (which were necessary to pass inspection). Since I have not heard back yet from the dealer I am not willing to spend an additional $5k-$11k without knowing that I will be reimbursed. I would likely pursue arbitration or litigation for damages before having the vehicle repaired so that all of the evidence is preserved for the court. I have now contacted Toyota corporate twice with the expectation that someone from the dealership will contact me regarding the problem. I am hopeful that we can resolve this in the easiest way possible, but so far it seems as if LUV is not particularly well managed and perhaps does not have anyone competent enough to address this issue. read more

For those concerned with pricing -- I paid MSRP plus a small add-on fee for some overall protection (rust, interior etc). I was an out of state buyer but Errik and his team made it a pain-free process. All y'all had to do was work with me as if you weren't scammy used car salespeople (big ask, I know lol!) So yeah I'll keep my paid-for 8-year-old, under 90,000 miles car for a long time to come. 4/5/2022:My wife and i drove two hours from Pennsylvania to purchase a prius prime and were firmly disappointed about the experience. They did not have any available on the lot which is understandable due to the semiconductor shortages across the world. We then sat down with a salesman(eric) to pre order a prius prime only to be greeted with a 995 dollar bill just to order the vehicle through them because of a "mandatory" environmental protection treatment. It was simply over priced rubberized undercoating and plastic film on some painted parts that the dealership does in house. I asked if it would be possible to not have the treatment and just purchase the car and the salesman said you can option out of getting the treatment but you would still have to pay the $995 for the service!! The sales man said, "no treatment, no prius." I then got up and left. Purchased a 2020 Toyota Sienna Mini Van $46,000. First my wife went on a Saturday and walked around the lot for 20 minutes and not one sales person came out to talk to her. I went in the same Monday with her and within 2 minutes a sales person was out in the lot asking what i was interested in. Sexual discrimination? When we went in to purchase the mini van. They had my wife transferring our insurance to the new minivan while I was getting a coffee. This was even before the finance manager told us what the final payment would be. Shady... Less than a month later, the wiper linkage on my tundra broke. They charged me $968.00 for a new wiper motor, wiper blades and linkage. When it should have been a $0.50 piece of plastic that connects the wiper motor to the wiper blades. (Watch YouTube) Ripoff!! Go to Buffalo Toyota Dealership where there are more customers and more competition and they can not take advantage of you because they think you are uniformed. After 1.5 hours and being pressed by the service manager for multiple add-on services (tire rotation, fuel injector treatment, cabin air filter change), all of which I rejected, I was confronted with a $90 bill... including a $5 charge for a rag that they supposedly used (no, I was not allowed to keep the "rag").
