Huy is my assigned physical therapist and I'm so grateful for his knowledge and dedications in what he does. I have a very low pain tolerance, yet Huy is extremelyyy patient and encouraging to motivate and guide me through all the exercises to make sure I'm reaching the necessary intensity and milestones for my recovery journey within a safe measure. They also have other assistants helping out during the exercises and all of them are very kind. Their positive environment makes my whole physical therapy journey a lot more tolerable and somewhat enjoyable. I'm always looking forward to my sessions there.

I could not recommend this therapy center more. All of the therapist genuinely love what they do and are absolutely amazing with the people they are helping. They care about these families and go above and beyond when providing therapy. Everyone works so well together and supports each other, it's a very loving, accepting, and encouraging environment. All the children I saw in my 2 weeks at this center were happy to be there, they wanted to "play" with their therapists and you could tell this was more than a job or a work relationship between them. The progress that has been seen with all the clients I observed was so fun and encouraging to hear about and to witness. I left the Team Approach even more excited about the OT path that I am on and hope to one day be able to be part of something this amazing.

They did a great job in communicating what was going on in therapy in ways we could understand and implement at home. When my son graduated OT we were given multiple resources to continue his development from home. We are considering getting him re-evaluated for speech therapy and wouldn't go anywhere else. They also take all precautions necessary when it comes to Covid. The new building is awesome, the front office staff is helpful, and we recommend anyone to Space!

She keeps my son's interest and attention to the task. He has learned and improved a great deal since he has been coming here. I have referred several families to NTS, who are now clients as well and are very pleased. I have seen other providers of occupational therapy conducting therapy in small rooms with barely anything in it (maybe a ball and a floor type swing). NTS has several rooms full of equipment and toys, a skateboard ramp, a zip-line, rock climbing wall, and more swings than you can think of. They help me get reconditioned, strengthened my arthritic hands, and walk with a walker. I'm home now, and feel I can cope (even with the 2/15 to 2/16 power outages. Juniper, PT and Michelle(s) OT were great therapists. The group classes pt & ot where great. Brenda and Nakia were great nurses. Despite being short staffed, they gave me the care I needed. I did end up gaining 10 pounds in 2 weeks, which I will try to get off. The food was good and plentiful.

To add insult to injury, this $2200 bill was for two hours of supposed therapy - mostly a questionnaire assessment.

Her prognosis was grim at first, but she is exceeding their expectations and is now on to skilled nursing here at the rehab. I was told it is called TIRR, but nowhere on the building does it state this so don't let that confuse you. The facility is easy to find, parking is a breeze and navigating through the building is simple with everything marked so well. During my visit, I was pleased with the cleanliness, attentiveness, responsiveness and overall room layout. She is in a private room with a private bathroom. I'm not sure if all rooms are private. A schedule is given to the patient each night with what is expected/planned for the next day. The goal is for her (and all patients) to get better and stronger, so I like the planned therapy and for her to know what is expected of her to achieve the results needed. I've heard excellent feedback from other people about this place. Everything I have read and now seen/experienced is A+++. My friend even said the food was good. The Houston Metroplex is home to fantastic healthcare and I think this is another representation to that statement. Anyone going through tough situations like this, my blessings to you. Stay strong.

He showed me what he thought were the root issues, without having an MRI and sent me through a litany of exercises to work on the problem. Then had a print out with everything I did to continue working on, and what to expect. He was kind, attentive and I left feeling very positive. I've been to a physical therapist before several years ago, and while that was also a positive experience; in comparison, I feel like Andy had more anatomical knowledge and experience.

This pertains to an unfortunate encounter with a staff member on Thursday, September 20, 2024, specifically with a therapist named "Alek or Alexis." It is important to note that the front desk staff were present during my visit and were aware of the comments made. Upon my return to address the situation, one of the staff members promptly defended him. The individual receiving treatment is my mother, who was referred for physical therapy by her physician. Initially, we had the pleasure of working with a therapist named "Victoria", who was outstanding--professional, empathetic, and highly skilled. She inspired hope in us, and we eagerly anticipated our sessions. Regrettably, she has since departed. Subsequently, we began sessions with Alek, who, from the very beginning, made several discouraging comments, including: 1. Questioning our presence in therapy. 2. Indicating that my mother's evaluation suggested she was unlikely to improve, thereby questioning our reasons for attending. 3. Stating that this is not a gym for entertainment, implying that if we wanted that, we could go to a gym, and making remarks about individuals attempting to exploit the system for no valid reason. I was taken aback by his rudeness, as it felt as though he was accusing us of dishonesty and trying to take advantage of the system. I was shocked that he spent the entire hour of our first interaction merely reiterating why we were there. It felt as though he was suggesting we should leave. Engaging with him became increasingly intimidating, as he made me feel like a liar and that we had no right to be there. The reality is that he seemed disinterested in working with my mother, preferring instead to handle only straightforward cases where he could simply direct patients without much effort. 4. He indicated that if we did not attend sessions at least twice a week, we would face removal from the program, a statement the front desk staff later clarified as inaccurate. 5. In the second session, he made an inappropriate remark regarding my mother taking an extended time in the restroom, plus he mentioned that she likes to talk suggesting that she was doing that to avoid exercising. I would like to respond to that by saying that if he truly possessed the experience he claimed, he should know how to gently and respectfully redirect her conversation to encourage her to continue exercising as she is a senior person. 6. He stated that he found it challenging to work with her due to her slower pace compared to other seniors, plus safety issue, suggesting he was overwhelmed with patients and needed to focus on those who could keep up. It seemed as though we were being encouraged to leave the office because of his reluctance to assist my mother, as he provided various justifications related to our attendance. I shared my work obligations and emphasized that I am her primary caregiver. After discussing with the front desk staff, I discovered that the assertions regarding removal from the program for missed sessions were baseless. We eventually scheduled appointment requesting another therapist who have experience and knowledge, not bothered by patient and select what he/she want. I never see such a thing, I even asked about such behavior, no one agreed. My advice if you want to work in a field in the medical industry you need to be patient and passionate, it is not all about money. It is important to address the front desk staff regarding the situation with Alex as they seemed to be defending him. It appears that rather than offering assistance, he was more focused on expelling us from the premises. We expect to be treated with respect as clients, especially in a business context. We are not here to deceive or seek entertainment; this experience has been quite disheartening and has left us in disbelief. It is truly unfortunate and disappointing.
