She was yapping with someone else while working on me. She squirted so much novocaine in my mouth that it dripped down my throat and I couldn't speak in English or Spanish. I had requested gold, she gave me a composite that looked like glue. Less than a month later one of the fillings fell out and had to be replaced here in the states. Less than a year later one of the teeth (a rear molar) had to be extracted after the gum became inflamed and the tooth split in half. Obviously after that happened I made sure to replace the rest of her work before I lost any more teeth. When my dentist here in the U.S. replaced the final filling that she had done he found unremoved amalgam underneath her crappy "composite" resulting in a filling that was not attached to the tooth in those areas where the amalgam remained. I was lucky that I didn't lose that tooth as well. I would of been better off going to a Mexican mechanic. She is a disgrace to the dental profession. If anyone knows of a reputable dentist in Ensenada please let us know. This woman should not be listed as one of the best dentists in Ensenada. In fact she should not be rated as a dentist period. I have not taken my car to her so I can not rate her as a mechanic.

Eileen is an absolute artist who loves fashioning broken destroyed teeth into looking whole and new. The polishing paste even has diamond dust in it! Dr. Hugo is a wonderful human being who was as gentle as possible considering I have unusual excess bone and extra roots to navigate. It was easily 1/4th of the price I would've paid in the United States . Approximately $50-$80 per tooth depending on the severity and extra steps needed. I was prepared to pay for whitening but just that diamond paste lightened my teeth up three shades for no extra cost. No matter who you go to , I'd recommend bringing sunglasses and headphones. They also didn't mind that I brought my own blanket. These three things help me with my anxiety, Comfort to tune out the bright light and noise. I'm going back for implants. I've been to other dentists in the US and Mexico but Baja dental is hands-down the best choice. They truly did give me my smile back.

Elite kept me well informed and even recommended me an amazing oral surgeon when I was having trouble finding one that worked with my insurance. You can park at the Soriana, which is a grocery store…read more You know you're at the correct place if you had to click a button to get a little parking ticket. On the way out you pay for parking with for the allotted time you were there. The grocery store and other little stores are on the first floor and a lot of clinics/dentist offices are on the second floor. Once you get to the second floor, there'll be someone at the main door asking you to check in and that really just states your name and how many people are with you and what office you're going to. There is a staircase, and there is an elevator to get to the second floor. The office is small but very clean but unfortunately in Mexico, what happens sometimes is that the running water stops working and you cannot use the restroom since there is no water to flush the toilet. The two girls at the front are really nice and are really inviting. Feel free to ask them any questions you have. Dr Yasmin introduced herself and she was very lovely and she is the person who did my cleaning and my teeth whitening. She was very lovely as well and she kept asking me if I was OK and was very attentive. So what happens first is that the doctor will check you out and make sure that the items you requested can actually happen that day and then someone comes and gives you a quote and if you would like to continue, you sign the quote and then the work is started. It was my very first time doing a teeth whitening, and while she was doing it, it did not hurt at all, but I did experience some teeth sensitivity around an hour later. The teeth whitening is four sessions of 15 minutes under some sort of lamp on your teeth. It is a small quaint clean office. I would definitely go back.

When I finally went in for an evaluation, they gave me a clear treatment plan and timeline to get my dental health back on track. They offer driver service to and from California and can even help arrange a hotel nearby, which made the process very convenient. Most of the work can be completed right there in their office, and the cost was very affordable compared with what I expected to pay. One of the unexpected bonuses was that our dental trips also gave us an opportunity to turn the visits into little mini-vacations.
