Let's start with some useful information. You can park at the Soriana, which is a grocery store. You know you're at the correct place if you had to click a button to get a little parking ticket. On the way out you pay for parking with for the allotted time you were there. The grocery store and other little stores are on the first floor and a lot of clinics/dentist offices are on the second floor. Once you get to the second floor, there'll be someone at the main door asking you to check in and that really just states your name and how many people are with you and what office you're going to. There is a staircase, and there is an elevator to get to the second floor. The office is small but very clean but unfortunately in Mexico, what happens sometimes is that the running water stops working and you cannot use the restroom since there is no water to flush the toilet. The two girls at the front are really nice and are really inviting. Feel free to ask them any questions you have. Dr Yasmin introduced herself and she was very lovely and she is the person who did my cleaning and my teeth whitening. She was very lovely as well and she kept asking me if I was OK and was very attentive. So what happens first is that the doctor will check you out and make sure that the items you requested can actually happen that day and then someone comes and gives you a quote and if you would like to continue, you sign the quote and then the work is started. It was my very first time doing a teeth whitening, and while she was doing it, it did not hurt at all, but I did experience some teeth sensitivity around an hour later. The teeth whitening is four sessions of 15 minutes under some sort of lamp on your teeth. It is a small quaint clean office. I would definitely go back. read more

I had a wonderful experience with I Love My Dentist in Tijuana, Mexico, and I highly recommend them! As a full-time caregiver, I spent so much time taking care of everyone else that I didn't do a very good job of taking care of myself. When I finally went in for an evaluation, they gave me a clear treatment plan and timeline to get my dental health back on track. I ended up having root canals, crowns/caps, and fillings on multiple teeth. The entire experience was much easier than I expected. They offer driver service to and from California and can even help arrange a hotel nearby, which made the process very convenient. Most of the work can be completed right there in their office, and the cost was very affordable compared with what I expected to pay. One of the unexpected bonuses was that our dental trips also gave us an opportunity to turn the visits into little mini-vacations. We enjoyed exploring Tijuana, checking out local sights, and trying some of the restaurants along the way. I'm very happy with the quality of the work, the care I received, and the overall service. I went in without appointment I had an infection due to a bad root canal. I call my previous dentist told him about the pain he said it was normal I went to a different dentist he said he was not able to attend to make an appointment I was crying at that point due to my pain. So I went to I love my Dentist and Doctor Sam saw the urgent of my problem and immediately took me in and ask to have anesthesia to calm my pain. That kind of kindness and humanity was what I needed. I had a very disappointing experience at I Love My Dentist. My appointment was scheduled for 4:00 PM, but I was not called in until 4:45 PM. After waiting that long, I was told they would not be able to complete my procedure because they were close to closing. Then, after saying they couldn't do the service, they changed their mind and proceeded to numb my mouth with injections. Once my mouth was already numb, they told me again that they could not complete the procedure. That level of disorganization is unacceptable. I also requested that my X-rays be emailed to me, and they have not responded to my calls or followed up. There has been a clear lack of communication and professionalism throughout this experience. Three years ago I had a new crown made and put in. Within a year it snapped off. The crown was supposed to have a metal post to keep it secure for life but it was a plastic post. When I told them they apologised and replaced the crown. They showed me the new crown with a metal post that they were putting in my mouth as a replacement. Two years later the replacement crown broke off because it had a plastic post - AGAIN!!! I cannot believe they ripped me off the first time and then when caught out, they lied and show me a fake tooth which they didn't install. They are such a fraudulent company. It is disgusting they would do this to anyone once, let alone twice. Never go here. You will end up being ripped off and left with years of remedial work to correct their bad work. read more

My father traveled to I Love My Dentist for major dental work. He needed to have all his remaining teeth removed and implants placed in. In California this procedure would have cost him $49K while at I Love My Dentist, with travel and lodging, the cost was less than $25K. The service he received was ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!!! Speak English or be prepared for problems. The moment you speak Spanish to the front desk, the attitude changes. I had surgery here and they charged me for a medical fast pass, but at my follow-up they were handing them out for free to English-speaking patients. When I asked about it, they tried to sell me one even after I told them I literally watched them give them away to others in front of me. Reception: The older receptionist and the younger tall one with black hair were rude, dismissive, and had terrible attitudes. Call and confirm your appointments because they don't -- I drove two hours from the border and they had nothing ready. The staff plays games, and yes, you can negotiate, which says a lot about their transparency. Misdiagnosis & Money Games: The office manager Denisse told me I had "multiple cavities" and tried to push me into getting them done there. I have insurance, so I went for a checkup the very next day when I got home -- I had ZERO cavities. That alone made me lose trust. Constant review pressure: Gloria Alejo, head of patient services, repeatedly pushed for reviews and photos to "boost their business," but she mixed up my information and even wrote my phone number down wrong, so I received no updates for a month of back and forth. Communication issues: The younger receptionist literally called 20 minutes before we were about to cross the border to tell us the veneers (scheduled for that SAME DAY) "had not arrived." No apology, no urgency, nothing. And on top of that, she wanted $80 for another medical pass on a future visit. POSITIVES: To be fair, the doctors were excellent -- * Dr. Samuel was great * Dr. Juan Olivar was an excellent surgeon, very patient, spoke perfect English, explained everything, and got my prescriptions ready. BOTTOM LINE: * Speak English or you will be treated differently. * Double-check everything before making the drive. * Confirm appointments and don't be afraid to question charges. * Do not take their word on diagnosis without getting a second opinion. * Be firm and be ready to negotiate. I will not return because of the lack of transparency, professionalism, and respect from the front office. The doctors deserve better staff. read more

I have been a customer of this place for over 3 years now. I did a lot of procedures from root canals to taking wisdom teeth and finally braces. I am very sad to write this and say this, but I feel like I wasted so much time and extreme amount of money considering that I went there because it is a cheaper option then US. I feel like nothing was done correctly - starting with wisdom teeth removal - I have major consequences - my jaw is clicking ever since. However I put braces on March 1st 2023 and removed it on November 22nd 2025 - after 2years and 8 months of wearing braces progress was minimal. I took it off on my own initiative because I am relocating, but even thought I consulted different dentist from different backgrounds and locations and all of them told me same thing - this is not done correctly for this amount of time. I noticed the progress was stagnant and I complained and pointed out multiple times, but I have only been ignored! Stuff and doctors are polite, but other than that this is very expensive place, and I really doubt their qualifications. It is not worth it. I spend so much time and energy coming from LA and giving them benefit of a doubt, and it just didn't pay off. If you are coming from US, do not waste your money. For this amount of money you could do it in California, and progress will be better. And please if you see major difference between before and after phots let me know! After decades of receiving dental care in the States, we were a bit skeptical about heading south of the border, but we simply could no longer afford our dentist. I Love My Dentist was highly recommended by a friend who has been a patient there for years. This morning we completed our third visit and we couldn't be happier with this practice. The front office team of Gloria and Alix are highly professional and provide first-class customer service with kindness and grace. The office is super clean and every bit as modern and well-equipped as any practice in the States. We love Dr. Sam who has already replaced four very old crowns for my husband and also a filling from the Middle Ages. While I can't say that all this work has been cheap, it's been 50% less expensive. Worried about driving to Tijuana? Gloria ca make arrangements for door-to-door transportation, or you can walk across the border and they'll send an Uber to pick you up and drive you back to the border crossing when you're done. How lucky for me that I've finally found a home for my dental care! My spouse has been a patient here for a few years. I had the unfortunate event of cracking off part of a front tooth on a Sunday and needing emergency care the following day on Monday. I spoke with Gloria over the phone, and she was able to get me in to get the care I needed that afternoon. When I arrived, I felt welcomed and my worry was resolved. Dr Samuel Larranaga diagnosed me quickly and set me with temporary crowns on my two front teeth. It was quick and easy and the doctor and his assistants took great care of me. I went in today to get my two permanent crowns and they look fantastic! I can't wait to send the rest of my family here! This business is garbage! I sadly experienced some life events that left me in a financial bind amid oral health concerns and i turned to this business to assist with my dental health needs. To say this has become a nightmare would be an understatement. What could have been a root canal became an extraction (that ended up breaking while eating a pretzel!) the neighboring tooth is now seriously infected causing me severe health issues. Another healthy tooth was extracted unnecessarily, a molar was shaved down unnecessarily to accommodate a mismatch implant - long story short i haven't been the same ever since. I reached out and was met with back and forth emails that didn't respond to the issue. They take no responsibility for their actions. They have quite literally ruined my smile and affected my standard of living (i am left eating a mechanical diet at this point). I truly hate this business and the people that work their (i truly mean what i am saying, i hate all of you and wish you the exact same experience you put me through). You should be ashamed of yourselves. I hope your business falls apart. I wish more people come out and say what a fraud y'all are. You're allowing the worst to happen to unsuspecting persons trying to do the best for themselves- crossing borders for their health only for you to prey on the unsuspecting!?
