Los Gatos art & wine festival

I've ordered from this food truck a couple times (Cupertino Night Market a couple years ago, and Los Gatos Art and Wine Festival this past weekend), and both times the dessert was delicious and chocolatey, although not too unique or extraordinary. This past Sunday, my bf and I shared the original heart shaped brownie, and it was a small but satisfying treat to savor while enjoying live music at the event we attended. Service was standard, the staff working hard to get orders out. I have no complaints about my experience here.

This is a delightful dessert truck that parks in front of where I work weekly. I came here for the first time with a coworker during lunch and loved to see the different options of sweet treats this truck has to offer. Obviously they're well known for their heart shaped brownies. My coworker had the ice cream sandwich (2 brownies with vanilla ice cream in the middle). I actually had one of their drinks - the Mango Passion Fruit, which was a blended refreshing delight (almost reminded me of a healthier i-cee lol). Very much needed during a hot summer day as a mid-day pick me up on a Monday. The lady taking our order was also super friendly. Definitely would come back to this spot again!

I work at VMC Hospital and had the pleasure of ordering a Brownie Ice cream sandwich from Luv's food truck. Andrea was very nice and personable. I just happened to be a lucky patron(I walked up to her truck early before the rush) and was rewarded with commemorative quarters when I gave her cash. I really love her warm brownie ice cream sandwiches, they're delicious and always taste homemade. I love her friendly service as well, thanks again.

Thank you so much Andrea for catering our event at the hospital for Black History Month . Over 500 bite size brownies. Omg they smell and taste so good and yummy. Everyone loved them. Andrea is very sweet and helpful. She made sure everything was right for our event. I highly recommended Luv's Brownies for any event you may have.

Saw this trucky at culture market night at Eaststridge parking lot. I'm a sugar fanatic so when I saw the bright white red truck with the word Luv's Brownies ya know daddy had to stop by to check them out. Service was super friendly and quick. You can feel the smile through the mask. During this stop I ordered strawberry lemonade with mint and a brownie ice cream sandwich vanilla ice cream. Drink was superb. Yummy. Brownie ice cream sandwich so damn good. I would have gotten another one, but daddy is on a diet. Gooey goodness with a slap of oh my Gawd. If you see this truckie. Come through. It's worth the stop.

Truck location at the Rosegarden farmers market

To start off this little piece of heaven on wheels was parked today at the Rosegarden Farmers Market. This was my first time at that FM so not sure if they are here every Saturday but glad they were here today. I tried their café cubano (oat milk) which was not only delicious but light.... Not too heavy, however, if you get the ice cream option you may get a creamier denser feel. The gals were super nice and I even got a sample of a hot brownine (their specialty) and if they are here next weekend I'm buying some, they were delicious! Please help support our small businesses, we want and need them here in SJ! Ample parking being the FM is at a school.... Come check them out!

We got to meet the owner and take a picture. Family enjoyed our brownie sundaes and Cafe Cubano. Open until 4pm at Cory Elementary today. Yum! 25 year anniversary for Luv's Brownies - celebrating on Good Morning America in late March! Congratulations:-) We look forward to seeing you soon!

    "Just the brownie" order.

My boyfriend took me here on a whim and we instantly wanted to try their brownies out. We stared at the truck for a good 10minutes before finally mustering up the courage to ask the cashier if I could just have a brownie rather than an ice cream sandwich, sundae, or drink (whatever the heck they do with their brownies otherwise). It was initially misleading because there weren't any pictures of the option for brownies, just their dessert concoctions. So I went up to ask if they sold just brownies, and I was shot down by the gentleman telling me "not today". So as I walked away, the lady spoke in her microphone and said "She wants only the brownie? Sure! She can have just the brownie!" Lol. I was elated so then I ordered a little brownie. For a whopping $7, it was worth it. She had to confirm as I was leaving that I "just wanted the brownie", and off we went digging and loving each and every bite! One suggestion I guess would be that they offer a selection on their menu for "just a brownie" because clearly, the name implies that they sell brownies. It would be a disappointment to have to go up and find they only would serve a brownie in a sundae, ice cream sandwich, or drink option. Also, there was a Mr. Softie truck next to them so I didn't want to have even more ice cream after already grabbing a softie next door. Delicious, gooey, and not overly sweet. This was the perfect brownie.

Fire and Rice Food Truck catered our company lunch and did an outstanding job. Given the short…read moretimeframe and large order size, they delivered everything quickly while serving great quality food. The service was fast, organized and the food was consistently great. If you're looking for a catering food truck for a small lunch window that delivers high quality and very quick service, I HIGHLY recommend Fire and Rice. Their Hawaiian Asian fusion menu is unique and stands out compared to other Asian or poke trucks I've tried. The garlic shoyu chicken and tuna poke were my personal favorites. I tried some of my coworkers garlic shrimp & Miso tofu too...surprisingly pretty GOOD! With inflation being what it is, their food is absolutely worth the price, and they were also flexible and willing to work within our reasonable budget. I can't recommend them enough. For catering inquiries, It was a little difficult getting them on the phone so we played phone tag a lot. I suggest texting or emailing Micah or Jessica for the quickest response, as they're often busy on the truck or during service.

Final Thoughts: 4.33/5…read more They were our caterer for a work party. This is a food truck and they seem to have everything ready to be served to us. Asian fusion foods are typically my go-to choice and so I was very excited that they were providing us food today. Food: Garlic Fried Chicken Bowl: 4.3/5 The sauce on this is divine with the chicken. It's like an unagi sauce with garlic in it. It has some saltiness, sweetness, and that umami flavor. Garlic taste and scent is present, but not too overpowering, which I really enjoyed. That flavor is great, but some places really overdo it for me. Just a personal preference though. For the chicken itself, it's very tender and juicy on the inside and still has some of that nice crunch on the outside. Perhaps this is because the cut of meat is the chicken thigh. It's not super crispy because I don't believe this is being fried to order for us. Seems to be food held in a warmer until its ordered. Kimchi was the side that they had provided with this dish and I am here for that. Some people aren't the biggest fan of this and I saw that from the looks my coworkers gave it. Personally, very much enjoyed it though. That sourness and spice from the kimchi just balances out this bowl really well. The veggies are nice and crispy. Gives it that freshness. Also, very slight detail and addition, but I always enjoy the sesame seeds and furikake sprinkle as a garnish. There's a nice nuttiness to it that they provide as a simple garnish. Spicy Tuna Poké: 4.0/5 This item was alright. The flavor was also really good, but I did get tired of eating just one type of poke protein. Typically when I go to get poke, it's 2 to 3 scoops of different proteins with various sauces to change up the flavor. I did get tired of this one after a few bites. The flavor of this item was very good though. There's a nice kick from it and the flavor tastes like a mix of kewpie mayo, soy sauce, sriracha, and sugar. Very simple, but you can't go wrong with those flavors. For the side, they added seaweed salad. Again, not your average side dish. Personally, I enjoyed it, but it might not be a common or familiar side dish for other individuals. It has a nice sweetness and nuttiness to it. For texture, there's a nice bite to it, which is ncie since the tuna is very soft and doesn't contribute much to the texture component. Menu: Small Their menu seems quite limited, but again, that is normal for a food truck, I believe. The items they provide do it just fine for me. I appreciate that they also have an option for the vegetarians. The menu we were provided was limited to 4 items, which is fine since the scale of this party wasn't anything too wild and we were able to satisfy everyone with what they provided. --------- Quality: Alright The quality of the food seems OK. It came out within a few minutes for us and I don't think it takes just a few minutes to fry that piece of chicken. I could be wrong though, so no one quote me on that. Just an observation. Not the highest expectations because their limited to the space and area in general. The product they provide is very good though. Overall, for something that has raw seafood in it, it seemed quite fresh and tasty. The items aren't made to order either and it's more assemble and serve to order, but again, they seem to be making it work with the product that they are selling. Price: Estimated Because this was a catering event, I am actually unaware of how much my administrator paid for the food. What I know is that she paid for a certain amount of bowls. From the looks of this item though, I want to estimate the price of each bowl being around $16 to $20 depending on the food item provided. Seems quite average for a bowl of food these days. Service: Quick and fast Because most of the food is already prepared and ready, the interaction with them itself is very limited. They took our order and provided us with the food. Nothing too significant to note and that is to be expected with the food truck. They were very sweet though and explained the menu items to be when I had a question. Ambiance: Simple and cute food truck The design on their food truck is so cute. The riceball is my favorite because it has this very cute face and just looks darling to me. The outside has a simple design with the name and logo on top and then perhaps some of the food items they provide written on the bottom section of the truck. Doesn't seem like anything too fancy, but simplicity is best for me. Location/Parking: Wherever they travel and navigate to Because they're a food truck, they can drive to you, which is really convenient. On Yelp, it states that their located on 36 Commercial Street in downtown, which might be where their truck is serving most of the time. Again, it is a food truck though, so they have the ability to drive to you and travel around to their customers, which is quite convenient is reaching a broader group of people.

Today, I decided to order the Chicken Fajitas, and it completely exceeded my expectations. Without a doubt, it was the most delicious fajitas dish I have ever had. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, the vegetables were cooked just right, and all the flavors came together beautifully. Everything was cooked to perfection. The portion size was very generous, and the sides were fantastic. The guacamole, sour cream, Spanish rice, and black beans were all fresh, flavorful, and complemented the meal perfectly. I've always enjoyed the food here, but from now on the Chicken Fajitas will definitely be my regular order. Well-deserved 5 stars. Thank you, El Halal Amigos!

The only thing I didn't like were the salsas-- I thought it was okay. Salsas were on the watery side and it didn't have much flavor. Service was nice & timely. We sat outside and we had someone check on us a couple times. They also give free chips & salsa.

We set sailed to the hospital shortly after 5 and was hungry once we finished spending a little time w/ my grandma. There were 2 food trucks (one seemed to be dessert-oriented). Service was pleasant. They accept cards which is a huge plus! We ordered no carne (vegetarian) burrito, a carne asada nachos and a regular chicken burrito for Gavin. Spicy salsa had a little heat, very good and not too acidic. My burrito was delicious. I am leaning more towards a vegetarian diet since my grandma was admitted to the hospital. It's a Buddhist thing. Been coming to the hospital everyday since last Tuesday. I am grateful that there are options to eat other than hospital food. I have never been to the cafeteria, so I cannot compare but who can turn down good food from a food truck? I love the service!
