I reached out via email and her assistant Jenn, who was an absolute pleasure to speak with, took down my details and told me she would check their team's schedules and let me know if they could accommodate me. I heard back within a couple of hours that they could take me! We took care of the final details (time, inspo pics, and the artist assigned to me) and i was all set. I received the location details and instructions for parking a day or so before my appointment, and the day i arrived, Meg was kind enough to guide me into the parking structure at her studio location. Her studio is LOVELY. I was welcomed warmly by Meg and her adorable rockstar pups! She asked if my mom and I were ok with them, and OF COURSE! She was SO COOL! She played really cool music, and even offered us a beverage. We had super pleasant conversation and her work...baby, her WORK...Meg is like supremely gifted. I've always heard great things, and it absolutely did not disappoint. From start to finish, I felt truly taken care of. The salon itself is beautiful, well-kept, and feels very luxurious. I had my appointment about two weeks ago with a stylist named Justin, and he was AMAZING--easily one of the nicest and most attentive hairstylists I've ever met. We got along right away, and he really listened to what I wanted. He checked in with me throughout the appointment and even let me record him while he shared styling tips (which I really appreciated since I'm terrible at styling my own hair!). Honestly, Sharon is so good at what she does, I don't even think I needed a trial because I absolutely loved what she did but it gave me peace of mind and reassurance. I told her all my concerns (oily skin, hair that doesn't hold curls, etc) and she made sure it was all addressed. I had SO many compliments after my trial and on wedding day. My hair normally doesn't hold a curl but I wanted cohesive waves and they held the entire night without making my hair feel stiff. She was perfectly on time too. Her arrival, set up and doing my mom's makeup, my sister's hair and makeup and then mine. She ended perfectly at the end time we aimed for too. I was also pretty nervous on wedding morning and getting my hair and makeup done was surprisingly soothing. I've never felt prettier in makeup than I did with Sharon's work.
