Due to a personal issue, my first appointment was cancelled. Chrissie sent out an email about it about two days ahead of time and said there would be a follow up email with reschedule times. I never received a follow up, however I had already had a second appointment scheduled because I had purchased 3 facials. When I arrived, it was a pretty standard facial set up. She had me fill out a form regarding my skin and daily regimen. While I was filling out the form, Chrissie kept asking me about my skin and regimen so I felt kind of rushed. I couldnt read, write and answer her back all at the same time. The facial itself wasnt really relaxing BUT I was totally willing to give up ambiance for fantastic looking skin. She was using lots of tools on my face, the lighting was really bright (even with eye pads), and her hands were extremely cold. I did have a lot of congestion on my chin so she really focused on that area. After, my skin definitely cleared up significantly so that was really good... So why only 2 stars? Well, when I got home, I noticed about an inch scratch on my cheek. I called Chrissie about it and took a photo and emailed it to her. She then stated that the scratch was there prior to the start of the facial. Now, I have never had anything like this happen to me. I get facials all of the time. I was appalled that she said that it was there at the start. Not to mention, if it was there at the start, dont you think she would have asked about it or taken extra care around the area?? Nothing was mentioned. I really did not like that...at all. She did refund my money because I was not comfortable going back to her after that. After about a week of neosporin, the scratch is almost gone. I had a bad experience and will not be going back.

I call on a Thursday trying to get an appointment for the next week, she squeezes me in on Sunday afternoon. For me, there are two things that define a good facial. 1) Thorough extractions with no scarring, and 2) the therapist doesn't leave the room for extended periods of time while you steam or have a mask. The first time I went in, Anna probably spent 30-40 minutes doing extractions after a thorough steam. Plus, she massaged my hands and shoulders while I was steaming or letting my mask dry. My face looked great. I have since been back for another facial and a microdermabrasion. The microderm did not cut my skin, and was glowing for days afterwards. If you missed the groupon, there's a pretty good chance she'll let you come in for your first appointment at the groupon price. The facility: is essentially in an office building, so don't expect a full spa with locker room and tea. If you want a lazy spa, spoilation day, this isn't your spot. If what you really want is your skin to be taken care of, then come see Anna. She can be a talker, so if you want silence during your treatment, make sure to let her know ahead of time.
