    Gingerbread inspired nail set

I started going here on recommendation from a coworker and have been nothing but pleased! Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful, I see Liz who is an absolute gem and is so talented, I always get compliments on my nails! I feel as though the price is especially fair as well!

Amazing service the girls are awesome and very gentle and excellent massagers lol very clean space also

    What I asked for

If I could leave zero stars I would. I have been frequenting this nail salon for around six months now. The ladies have always offered a quick and efficient service leaving me with exactly what I requested. Today however was a whole new experience. I had requested to receive a dip manicure with extensions. I told the lady this exact information when sitting down, even showing her a picture of what I was looking for. Around 25 minutes into the procedure I asked her if she was going to be putting the tips I requested on my nails. She started laughing and said "oh honey your nails are long I thought they were fine". Considering I'm paying a high cost for this service it is frustrating to have to tell the technician to do what I WANT not what she thinks is best. The rest of the service carried on fine until the final result. I understand that not every nail tech has the same abilities, however it should be communicated at the beginning of the service that it is not something they can do. Below I showed what I asked for versus what I went home with..... these nails cost for $76 and no one in there seemed to care how awful they looked. It's disappointing to say the least as I thought this was a high quality salon. Be careful where you spend your money!

Great environment, they treat your nails and feet with respect. Every person assisting is focused and determined to provide a great experience.

    Shiny pink regular manicure.

This is a pretty great and affordable spot to get your nails done. They greeted me when I walked in the door and told me even though I was a walk-in it was no problem. I had to have my gel nail polish removed (cost: $5) and got a regular manicure (cost: $14). For $19 I feel great with my glittery nails. I will be back!

Pedicure was rushed, not relaxing at all. My toe nails are all different shapes, he spent almost no time removing the cuticles. also can someone explain why he only painted a part of my last two toes, on both sides!? I could have saved that $30 and done a better job myself, at home. And the other thing, is it really so difficult to drag the top coat of polish all the way out to the paint line. My hands look sloppy and unprofessional - but wait, I thought I paid a professional to paint my nails?! Guess not. I cried the whole ride home. Will not be returning.

I love this place! I haven't been there in a while, but since i just made a Yelp account I had to come by and leave a review. Lucky to say I was one of their original customers back in the day when it first opened. Eric would spoil me and do suchhh a good job on my acrylics. I heard that he is no longer there, but everyone who is currently working their is super nice and talented. I can see that the place has gotten more and more popular and I am so happy for them. I'll definitely come back one day if I'm in the area, although I live a lot farther away now. I have had one of their business cards in my wallet since like 2013, just incase!

This is how rough my heels were left :(

So, I requested the "Lux Pedicure", which allegedly is a massage experience with spa grade products and a meticulous lacquer application. What I got was a regular pedicure, with an added layer of lotion, tepid water, scalding towels, and a laquer application that required three tries to make it look any better than I could have done by myself at home. The technician didn't even shape my nails at all until I mentioned it to a second technician. This place really needs to rethink the name "Lux" until they have a staff that is invested in providing services in a proficient and professional manner. Next Morning Update : the laquer on all my toes has bubbled, and my heels are so roughed up from the haphazard filing/buffing that I actually snagged a thread on my socks, and will likely have to lose a pair of socks to this whole fiasco. Lux Nails is terrible.

No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get into my regular salon to save my life. A good friend…read morerecommended her regular place, crystal nails & her tech is Tin. I called got an appointment with relative ease (I say relative because there it was the softest non English as a first language speaking person ever to answer a phone talking to me.) I arrived 5 minutes before my appointment. (I'd requested a mm appointment for a mani/pedi with Tin) I'm going to assume he doesn't do feet, because some chick did my pedicure. She was nice enough. A little pushy when it came to patiently waiting for me to pick a color. (There's sarcasm there, she asked what color I was looking for & I said a pretty bright pink, she tried to guess what I meant by that by asking me about several god awful colors. Overall I selected a white. It's safe. For me, anyway) I went to the very last chair, always my preference so that was delightful. The chair was comfy, the massage control easy to manage, the arms of the chair... Low. Like you'd have to be part gorilla to have arms where you elbow is that low. It was weird. As will the any pedicure I get, I asked for them to be cut short. Very short. She understood & complied. BONUS. The pedicure was simple, basic if you will. A nice added free bonus a light scrub that she briefly massaged up my calf. No hot stones, those belong to the big deluxe mortgage your house pedicure. With in 15 minutes I was being told to go sit down at Tin's station, I only knew where that was because I hovered awkwardly just long enough to be told where that was, which was where Tin was sitting, earbuds in & tablet out, which is where this previously unknown person to me was sitting when I walked in which is what leads me to believe he doesn't do feet. I sat at tin's station told him I was referred by a regular, he seemed disinterested, though from my position it was just a heads up someone likes your work more than anything else. The manicure was as the pedicure was, basic. No muss, no fuss. Turns out. I like a little fuss. I like to not sit with my neck craned to watch family feud instead a little conversation would have been nice but I'm a new mom, I've been up since 3:36a, you don't want to talk to me? Fine. Family feud it is. Tin does painfully thin coats of nail polish, if you're looking for complete opacity, three coats minimum. The UV dryers for Gel manicures is in the table which I found convenient & comfortable. The arms of the chair like the pedicure chairs were low. Overall in & out in 48 minutes. So while this won't be becoming my regular spot, in a pinch, it'll do the trick.

Went in for a gel manicure and they did an ok job. The owner was rude and didn't seem appreciative…read moreof my business. Won't be coming back.
