I was very excited about getting my first injection as he seemed competent. Rare. What happened to me today felt more like assault. I have been assaulted before and I feel just as disembodied. I was told I would receive local anesthesia before my procedure and I did not. During the procedure Dr. Leftkowitz had a conversation with his pre-med assistant about where he might go for the summer. During this time he did not tell me when he would start and he did not apply local anesthesia. Did not say "little pinch" nor "big pinch" At one point I actually screamed "what the hell are you doing?!" And. When he was done he actually said see you're all better! And rubbed my head like I was a child. The braggadocio! The racism! Uhhh no. I'm 46 and No one has ever rubbed or patted me on the head. No PoC would ever. Perhaps God sent me there to teach. Perhaps there is no God. But he bout to learn something. Honey this is not okay." I went over to CMS at Medicare to start that complaint and am all set to call my friends in Albany at the Office of Professional Medical Conduct Central Intake Unit. Whether I complete those reports is up to your office. See, after Dr. Frazier messed up my fusion and destroyed my life and career, I learned quite a lot about patient's rights. DO NOT SEE HIM AND IF HE HURTS YOU AFTER 4.13.2022 WE WILL ALL SUE THE BLEEP OUT OF HIM.

I was uncertain of prolotherapy but had been recommended it for my hypermobility by a rehab specialist I'd started seeing who had seem Dr. Likver for her own hypermobility-related issues. She assured me that she'd seen great results, and had sent many patients to Dr. Likver since. And she was right. The intake process was incredibly thorough, and while progress has not been linear and the path has not been easy, I've now gone through about 10 rounds of injections to great results. My case was pretty extreme, so I do not exaggerate when I say the treatments have been life-changing. My pain has gone down drastically, when I am in pain I recover quicker, and the prolotherapy has allowed me to resume my life again after years of coping or missing out on important things because of my body's meltdown. Dr. Likver has been a great practitioner, and I know that from having seen so many specialists all over the profession. Not only does she get good results, but unlike many doctors I've seen, she takes so much time and puts in so much effort, rather than shooing you away or asking if your problems are really as bad as you think. I consider Dr. Likver a partner in my recovery, not just because of the injections but because she listens and takes feedback, to provide the personalized treatment that I needed all along but couldn't find.

Quick Overview on my 2nd visit, I came 7 minutes late today (12:07 pm for a 12pm appointment) and…read moreno staff complained. At 12:28pm I saw Dr. Cong He, after my intake was done by two gentlemen prior. I was out of there by 12:55pm, and all of that included with take home printouts (in both Chinese and English) , separate instructions to coordinate care and medical imaging needed. The office was empty when I first arrived; It was completely unexpected since it was the opposite phenomenon before. I inquired if I had gotten lucky with this appointment time, or something else occured? Apparently, the patients have been verbally abusing the hard working on site staff members was getting out of hand. They tend to have a lot of elderly patients, so their family members act like they shouldn't have to wait, but most of their patients are "OLD" ... You're not the only fossil waiting to be seen or treated for your pain and discomfort. The sense of entitlement just from age ... RIDICULOUS !!! As a fellow patient, I'm in my mid 30s, here for problems of my own too; So because you're elderly, I should wait longer while in pain ?? (if we're going by that sense of entitlement.) I've worked in various medical fields, and have witnessed way too much nonsense. People come in as "patients" but behave like spoiled brats, while throwing tantrums, and somehow thinks they're "special" somehow, someway. Every medical office/ institution, alongside insurance companies, all have their own rules and regulations to abide by; therefore also requires protocols and criterias to be met. The medical staff can't perform miracles at the whimsies of individuals. And money doesn't solve everything. Disease and illnesses doesn't discriminate by any standards, biases, or nepotism. Appreciate the fact that the staff at this office is consistently thorough, understanding, and doesn't rush their patients out the office. There are plenty of places where we end up waiting over an hour to 1.5hour and then the doctor doesn't even see us for 5 minutes. Or having gone to ER and be stuck in a hospital for a minimum of 8-10 hours and not even get a pillow. Hang, Thomas, and other friendly staffs at this office are people too. They are people, that actually "do their jobs" !!! (both times, thorough, and helpful with explanations from beginning to end.) The nervous system is complicated as hell, and that's an understatement. (See picture uploaded of the nervous system connected to your spine, posted in their office.) Their jobs don't include getting screamed and yelled at, this isn't Burger King, and NO - You can't have it your way!!!
