I hate leaving a less than positive review but, all-in-all, I think my powdered eyebrows were alright. There's some gaps and areas that weren't filled and my eyebrows didn't come out to be like twins, but cousins. I found Beaute through instagram where all the models' brows looked stunning and so I was a little bit disappointed in how my brows looked. I got a full powdered brow done once and the appointment started late and ended quickly (which was nice,) but in hindsight, was rushed as was the QUALITY of my brows. I made an appointment online with Alyssa to get my brows done. I have not plucked/shaped or done anything to my brows for more than four years nor do I wear any makeup. Therefore, when researching Estheticians to do my brows, I wanted to make sure they were done right as I would not be using make-up to correct or cover up any imperfections or mistakes on my brows. I hate to leave a bad review but I want to warn other girls to save them from my experience, and I did give the owner a chance to make things right but she decided to ignore my message. ****Multiple girls have since reached out to me saying they've experienced the same thing with Alyssa sadly****** Two days ago Alyssa "Denise," owner of Beaute Studio Austin or "Beaute Studio Esthetics" offered free powder brows in exchange for being a training model. I had never had anything like this done to my body before, but she had decent reviews and her instagram portfolio has over 10k followers, she's verified, the photos looked good... I showed up for my appointment, and there were no forms to sign, she didn't communicate much about or during the process to me, and after she helped her student map out my eyebrows, the minute the tattoo pen was picked up, she LEFT THE ROOM!!!! Not once, but she would come in and check in, and then leave the room continuously every single time the tattoo pen was picked up. The girl went in multiple directions with the strokes (which she was told not to do but she barely spoke English so she continued to do it the minute Alyssa left the room) and left lines well outside of my brows. Again, I wouldn't be so upset if Alyssa just took responsibility and fixed the situation, but she chose to do things unprofessionally and not take responsibility for being a bad teacher, leaving me looking horrible and ignoring me. I included a before photo to highlight how the student went well outside of the line of my brow. I now have to wait 5 weeks and pay hundreds of dollars to get it fixed. read more

I got powder brows with Alyssa and she did an amazing job! I was so nervous that they were going to be ugly AND that it was going to hurt but they were neither! It felt as if someone was gently scratching my eyebrow , no pain! At first, they were dark but, if you do your research, that's to be expected. I followed the proper after care she told me and I LOVE my eyebrows! I was going for a natural yet bomb look and she nailed it! I can't wait to go back for my touch up! She was also very fast to the point where I said " that's it? You're done?" . She's been doing this for years and it shows. Brows looked fine before touch up. Came in for a touch up and my appointment was started an hour late. I wasn't asked what I wanted to improve or was looking for in this appointment. There was no mapping of the brows. She just laid me down and started them. My appointment was rushed and done in maybe 20-30 mins tops. My left eyebrow was done way too close to my other brow. When asked about it she just said it will fade. I'm honestly embarrassed to go outside with my brows now. I don't know what to do to fix it. I recommend making sure she takes her time. read more

I have been interested in microblading for a while and had been wanting a more natural look so I decided to try the powdered brows. I am super particular about my eyebrows and their shape/fullness. Linh did an amazing job capturing exactly what I wanted. You can tell she pays attention to detail and is very educated on the subject which put me at ease (as I had been very nervous going into this). I made an appointment with the owner, Alyssa, on August 31, 2021 for powder brows. I heard about this business initially from social media. They had a huge following and we had a ton of mutual followers in common when they requested to follow me. In hindsight, now I know that numbers definitely do not mean anything about a business especially on social media. There are minimal authentic reviews of this business and minimal before/after photos of actual current clients, instead there of friends or models and sometimes the same photos are used over. The day of the appointment Alyssa texted me she was running late and I agreed to push the appointment back to 12pm instead of 11. Come 12:30 I finally was taken back to get my brows done after sitting in the lobby. Red flag #1 regarding professionalism and business practice(s). One of the trainees, Brooklyn (who no longer works there) mapped my brows. Then Alyssa started the procedure. It was quite painful but maybe because the hair stylist, Katie, put numbing cream from what looked like an unsanitary numbing cream jar that's been used on many previous clients. My eyebrows were also shaved in areas by Alyssa before the procedure. I have a high pain tolerance and didn't know what to expect since this was my first time doing this. Since then I've gotten them laser removed and that was even less painful. I canceled my touch up because I didn't want my brows to get even worse than they were. They were blocky and super unnatural.The quality of my eyebrows were completely different than what is shown on social media. Please do your research if you're looking for permanent makeup. This was done by the owner and master artist of this studio. I've seen other similar reviews like mine that are either audited as fake or taken down. This procedure was roughly $500. I tipped well--20%. Money is not an issue so my review is not swayed by "losing" money. This is my experience with Alyssa's work only and not her as a business owner. I am not one to knock someone's business as I know how hard it is to run your own business. However, this is my unbiased real review of my experience. Please find this helpful or not, it's up to you. I had my brows done by Alyssa 2.5 years ago and then touched up once since then and they look flawless and I get so many compliments. I then returned and had my lips blushed by Linh and she also did a superb job. Not only is their work amazing but they are so nice and professional and make you feel right at home.
