I called at 5:45pm on a Friday and was so glad they got me in for a 6:25pm slot. After scouring Yelp for a good home based nail salon I think I found them! The place is clean, they offer complimentary beverages, the decor is chic and the prices are reasonable too. They are cash only with an ATM onsite and they offer a 25% off referral program which I've never seen before either. I got a simple design gel manicure and a Deluxe Pedicure which I didn't wince in pain, I felt taken care of and I didn't leave with polish all around my nails. I Love that Luxe Mani & Pedi lounge has an array of services to choose from. It's like a one stop shop. I can get my nails, spa pedicure, and eyebrows done and have impeccable results. The services aren't rushed (you're out in a timely fashion.) I never have to wait. The staff is vey professional, friendly and considerate. I love that they are consistent, not to mention the prices are great. They aim to please. If you're not satisfied the staff doesn't hesitate to make you satisfied. They are extremely hygienic, have great colors to choose from and the manicure/pedicure lasts! Have been looking for a nail spot for a bit; think this is the spot. Let's start with the bad and just get it out of the way. I called on a Monday making an appointment for that Saturday, there was an error in my scheduling and it was made for the following month. So when I showed up 5 minutes early they weren't expecting me. I got rescheduled from my 12:30 to 3:15. I also didn't like that I had to give a $30 deposit via either cash app or venmo (which I don't really use, I know). It was applied towards my total but they do that for cancellation reasons. They also only accept cash payment after that, having an in house atm available. On to the good!! When I came back I was offered refreshments. I was then offered the standard rolls of nail color which I showed her a design stated that's what I was looking for. She killed it!! I believe it was Tami?? Experience was great and my nails are exactly what I wanted. However the next day the nails began bubbling on the tips then 2 days after my fresh gel manicure the chrome chipped off. Very upsetting since it was a higher price than I usually pay. I will not be going back and I don't have time to get them fixed either. read more

THE BEST IN THE AREA!!! The salon is so clean and beautiful. It's not chaotic when you go in there, very relaxing. The decor and pedicure chairs are unique. Between nursing school, having a job, and having an infant at home I was so ready to get back into the habit of pampering myself after over a year of neglect. My nails were jacked and I had such high hopes for this place. They pretty much had all 5 star reviews and amazing pictures on Instagram. Walked in the place was clean, the decor was tasteful, and I was immediately greeted. The staff was friendly but after looking at my manicure once I finally got home I was disappointed. The paint was streaky and had bubbles, pretty much none of my nails were the same shape, and my cuticles look terrible. I called to let them know I was dissatisfied and the told me to come back in. The owner filed my nails for less than two minutes and then asked me if the were okay. They do look better but still unsatisfactory. I didn't want to waste either of our time so I left to a nail salon down the street and had them soaked off (at no charge!). Needless to say I will not return. read more

Exactly what I wanted!! Some fun designs for the holidays but nothing too crazy that would look unprofessional. Every employee here is upbeat as personable, cares about what you want your nails to look like and has some serious artistic skills. Fantastic experience and very reasonable price. I have patronized this salon for almost a year. The salon itself is very clean and organized and welcoming. The nail techs do great work and are abreast of current trends in polish and nail art. Sadly, I will no longer be utilizing their services as they are insistent in charging me a $30 fee for providing 2hrs notice of cancellation as opposed to the requested 3hrs. Clearly my business was not valued here as the salon manager is more than fine losing a loyal customer despite circumstances beyond my control. I will be taking my business where my money is appreciated and where management exhibits compassion for their customers! read more

These girls are the bomb. I've only been once and have been trying to go again but my schedule is crazy and it seems that you need to make an appointment way in advance. I got lucky the first time and walked in, and they were able to see me. I got a mani and pedi. The place is really nice. They are very friendly and do an awesome job! I was told they could do anything if you show them a picture. I got nude to white ombré and a glitter nail, which isn't too crazy but I wanted to go back and see what they could do. I went to Luxe Mani & Pedi Lounge since November 2017. I got a full set and a pedicure. My nails are always on point!!! These ladies execute whatever design from Pinterest you show them or will put their own twist on the design which is nice. My nails never lifted and I always have them in water! My Swarovski crystals do last when I get them and I use my hands a lot- I'm a mom need I say more! The design and decor of the salon is absolutely gorgeous!!! Very warm, welcoming and comfortable. There are refreshments and coffee for customers. Now when it comes to my pedicures- sadly they do not last. I get the gel pedicures since it's winter and I'm constantly wearing boots or heels. The gel polish will not chip- at least mine hasn't. They file my toe nails nicely. But when it comes to scrubbing the heels they could do a much better job. My heels were rough again after only 1week which is not something I'm used to! This is the 3rd time this happened. So I figured I'd give them another try but it happened again and again. In the winter months I get pedicures every two weeks but can go a month before needing another one. But since I've gotten my pedicure here at Luxe it needs to be done again. I think it's because these technicians prefer to do nails instead of feet. If that's the case they need hire a few older ladies who don't mind scrubbing feet! We were excited to try this new nail salon in the neighborhood. It had great reviews and the pictures looked like it was all state of the art. We walked in and asked for 2 pedicures. The girl asked if we had an appointment, when we said we didn't she said they couldn't take us. Then offered for us to come back tomorrow or the next day. Not even for later today. They had one customer in a pedicure chair and one getting her nails done. That's it! 2 total customers with tons of open chairs and they didn't even try to accommodate us. Nothing stated that an appointment was required. The brochure even says walk ins welcome. Myself, family and friends were all excited to try it. It's brand new and very close to where we all live. Now that they've heard of our experience today none of them will even try it. Just seems like bad business overall to me. read more

I will say I've been looking for a great nail salon to take care of my natural nails for a while from here to NY. Today I think I found the right place! This place is clean, well taken care of and carries the nail polish brands I like! Win!! I got a gel manicure today and had my natural nails trimmed and the manicurist was so polite and well versed in the trade. I did make an appt cause I wasn't sure about whether or not that was an issue but the other reviews stated it might be. I was accommodated an hour and a half after I called. They wrapped my nails upon my immediate arrival. It was close to closing on a Wed and there was only one other patron in there but it was a very pleasant experience. My nails are gorgeous and it was cheaper than the average gel manicure. Only $27!! Also, I need to say this, I asked about designs and the nail technician said everyone that works is equipped to do designs and if I wanted them that evening I could get them. So I did. I'm so happy!! It's also super close to where I live!! They apparently have a shop in philly too and this was the second location!! I WILL RETURN!! read more
