Im literally "in the chair" getting my toes painted. I booked my 10:15 am appointment early this week and expected to be taken ON TIME. Isn't that what appointments are FOR?!!!!!! I was placated with "five to ten minutes." I played on my phone for another 15 minutes . Then I was escorted to a pedicure chair. I sat for A HALF HOUR!!! I selected "anyone" for my technician." Is that why? At just under an hour in total wait, I opened my Jersey mouth, which rarely comes out lol. "EXCUSE ME - I HAD A 10:15 AM APPOINTMENT AND HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR 45 MINUTES and AM LEAVING G FOR THE SHORE!" The techs all looked at each other bewildered and like "oh sh*t", then a male tech was over in under five minutes. He's doing a great job but Im overall unhappy /po'd. The tip will reflect as much. They most likely will lose me as a customer because of their incompetence and lack of apology. There are too many competitors for this utter nonsense!!! Im stupefied! read more

Update as of 11/29 The tech who did my nails for me reached out via text justifying all the reasons why my refill on a unfinished set a $85.00 and tried to say i had two nails broken when i in fact did not at the time of the initial refill. Unfortunately instead of the salon responding with a professional response.. example of the appropriate thing to say would have been " We're sorry to hear about your negative experience. Please provide us with more information so we can investigate the issue and take steps to prevent it from happening again." Instead I'll post what she did say in the photos. Again still so unprofessional and completely ignored the fact that after 14 days my nails had a mold growing under a fresh set. If i showed her one the 14th day no reason my nails should be lifting before then. I used to have nothing but good things to say about this salon, but unfortunately, since it has been taken over by new owners the pricing has not at all remained consistent. The last straw was me paying for a $85 REFILL. Unfortunately i was getting my nails done and had to abruptly leave without getting the top coat finished. Mind you i get the same thing every time. Same color and a design on each index finger because i had to abruptly leave i did not get to speak to the tech about why i was being charged $85 for a refill but when i went back the tech told me it was the stones that made it so expensive. Mind you it was so ugly if i would have been able to stay i would have absolutely asked her to remove it. So you mean to tell me a refill set unfished costs $85.00 and to top it all of when taking it off my nail had some kind of mold or fungus underneath. Absolutely horrible. She then recommended a new set for $75. It makes zero sense and to top it off the tech used a different color pink powder and did not inform me she was going to at all what so ever. Until the top coat was on it that's when i saw that she basically picked whatever she wanted without telling me. Came here for a bro date at 2pm today. Right next to Sharky's Bagels which is also a highly recommended bagel nook. For my first experience at a nail salon, I found the staff to be super attentive and kind. We got regular manipedis and then had our nails painted with yin yang designs. Mid-afternoon may be the best time to come. They had our manipedi services done within 2 hours and they were definitely getting busier by the time we left! Great service from Kim and Anna read more

I had high hopes for this place. Local. Seems clean. Nice group of people. I have now visited 6 times. First time I got dip powder and it all chipped off within 3 days. I went back to acrylic. Full set came out nice. Though they give me a really hard time about shaping (they charge extra all I wanted was square but a little more narrow at top and never want to make them as short as I want- as a musician it's tough keeping long nails). First refill, no good. They trimmed them so thin, that the whole set chipped off. I have never had this happen with acrylic and I been getting nails for 20 years. Next just did an acrylic overlay but charged me for a full set. Added extra again for shape. Last time I went (and this is my last try) they again charged me for a file down and a refill and the tech spilled my coffee all over me and didn't offer to replace my coffee or take any $ off the price OR did he even apologize. Didn't give me the shape I wanted either. Just disappointed. In the market for a new salon. Again. read more

I got a regular manicure. He didn't use a fan or wait for the first coat to dry before applying the second, cuticles are messy and the polish still won't dry after 25 mins of waiting bc of how it was applied. Also didn't even ask me to wash hands after filing etc- I had to suggest it since he was going to start painting them with cuticle dust still on them. So strange, def won't be back. I've been all over NJ, PA, MD, DE & back !!! I have not found anyone that can literally NAIL my nails ! I came across the nail shop months ago but i was hesitant since the last time I did my nails with someone (not from this shop) they were literally breaking off. I've never seen my nail bed shed.. like ever ! They all broke, so bad I had nubs ! They finally grew back normal after 4 months and a half. I came to Luke exactly 4 days ago and he blew me away ! The perfect nails to me are shaped how I love, designed to my desire & how long they last! Luke NAILED MY NAILS !!!!!! This place is terrible!!!! I happened to try this place because my original nail salon was closed for the night....HUGE MISTAKE!!! I showed Luke a picture of a design I wanted and he told me he could do it...as I'm sitting there I was watching that he had no clue what to do and my hands look a hot mess!!!! I asked him to please take my nails off! They looked absolutely horrible! All the designs did not match other nails and the I had a different shape for all my nails!!!! Omg!!!
