I was in a time restraint to get my nails done and due to my work schedule it was impossible to get an apt anywhere! I called this place and they happily let me come in after my shift ended. My nail technician was so nice and patient with me picking a color. Every Staff member I came into contact with was friendly! I am so happy with the quality of my gel manicure and pedicure. I also thought the price was VERY reasonable for what I am used to paying !

Unfortunately this salon is not welcoming walk-ins. Unsure of there work considering that they haven't had a review in over a year. Wanted to give them a try since I'm new to the area and am looking for a new salon. This was disappointing since they didn't even attempt to set an appearance for me. read more

Soooo... I've been coming to Wonder Nails for a very long time; maybe 10yrs. I'm loyal but if I don't like something, I will tell you. Recently they made some changes to their products, and if you know me, you know I am a creature of habit. Well, I didn't think this place could get better but it just did! I got this pedicure and it was the best of my life. I can't even explain what a difference. Plus the massage is to die for. If you live close, do it. This definitely my favorite nail spot in the 08109 because of their cleanliness, respect towards men...I mean me. Didn't treat my ex to grand when we were together let her tell it, but I have never complained. Well I have once cause of the usual (a hang nail). But I kept going back it had gotten either sustainable or even greater every time. Great place to wind down after a dinner date. I never have one left angry. Prices for men cost more, but if you engage you will not leave unhappy. They know my household family. Beneath the sure continuous cleanliness I indulge in solace. Mani-pedi is a must. They charge me more because I have a mustache! What an outrage lol. On the other hand still worth the bill. read more

I went here to get a gel manicure because when I went before for a pedicure it was great! I have been getting gels on and off for 3 years now and it was the worst gel manicure I've ever had. I'm surprised because everyone else raves about this place and I never complain about my nails but I think the look on my face told the whole story. It was thick in some places and on the skin all around my nails. I had one of the male workers. Still debating on whether or not to return and have a different person do my nails. read more

I've been here several times and it is quite a lovely little nail salon! The owner is very welcoming, friendly and always smiling and telling jokes. I had Davi do my gel manicure and pedicure today. She did an excellent job, gave the best massage and was very pleasant to talk to. I highly recommend this place. Great work, very comfortable, always friendly and accommodating. Will NEVER go back!!! I have been a long time customer, they know me by name..I went in last week to get a pedicure and waited for TWO hours. That is RIDICULOUS!!!! I love this place! I have tried probably every nail salon in a 15 mile radius and I have ended my search for a great nail place with Wonder Nails. All of the technicians are very friendly and efficient. They never cut corners (figuratively & literally--i've gotten some painful manicures at other places!) I get an acrylic full set with gel polish and they always come out beautiful. They have the largest selection of gel polishes that i've seen and my nails usually last 2-3 weeks before i have to get a fill-in. Normally priced, not expensive for what i got and the quality and time spent. I would recommend Wonder Nails to anyone & everyone! read more

I got my first set of acrylic nails here. I was in a bit of a rush as I had a doctor's appointment at 5 pm, and the woman I spoke with informed me that a set would only take about 45 minutes (I arrived around 4 pm, so thought I had time). I ended up being 15 minutes late to my appointment. I don't want to detract credit from Wonder Nails for this, though, as that was my fault for not really having a good understanding of how long an acrylic set takes. I do wish they had overestimated how long the set would take when quoting me a time, though. I also didn't know it was better to get gels, and I can't remember whether or not they were recommended to me. read more

I paid…read more$100 for builder gel on my natural nails, which is excessive considering I travel often and have never paid over $70 at other salons. I came in with builder gel already on my nails, and while I agreed to remove the previous set and add a $10 French tip on 4 nails, I was never told about extra charges added at checkout for "soaking off" and "length." Charging extra for removal makes no sense when nails are typically filed down during a new set anyway, and charging for length feels like an unnecessary add-on since maintaining length is part of regular fills and sets. Listing lower prices online only to add surprise fees is misleading, so I'd recommend asking about every charge beforehand. What made this worse is less than two weeks later my builder gel started separating from my natural nails and one completely popped off. During the appointment my nails were also burning badly under the UV light, which has never happened to me before despite getting builder gel regularly for the last 8 months. I called twice to address the issue and the manager has yet to return my call. Between the hidden charges, poor quality work, and lack of customer service, this was by far the worst builder gel experience I've had.

She forgot and sighed like it was my fault she made the mistake. The owner sitting next to her said to her "you wanted to stay late and make your money" when she was annoyed. I just said keep it glossy since I felt like I was inconveniencing her. That was my last visit so now I travel further to go somewhere else. Overall, can be good, but they have to like you. But it's not the most relaxing or enjoyable experience otherwise.

I only go to Wonder Nails because the staff are skilled and friendly and the prices can't be beat! My gel nails are filled every 2-3 weeks. Miki is my nail tech. She consistently does a professional job and frequently changes the look of my manicure-which I love! I am forever getting compliments on my beautiful nail designs. Because Miki is in such high demand, I rarely have her for my pedicure. However, I can not complain. Each tech I have ever had has been thorough and skillful. The best part of the pedicure, next to the relaxing massage chair, is the hot stone massage. Yes, that's right! Every pedi comes with an amazing hot stone massage. Also, my pedicure lasts. It never chips between pedi's, ever. You will have to see it to believe it for yourself! Lastly, the prices are truly reasonable. It is the only way I can justify having my nails professionally done.
