I have been using Deluxe in Deptford for many years as I followed Andy when he opened the store. Hannah is now managing the store. Every 3 to 4 weeks for years I go for a gel refill and nail trim. In fact Hannah has even worked on my nails over the years. Yesterday I had Kat a somewhat new person do my nails. At check out I was charged 3 dollars more. I questioned Hannah and was told this was for the nail trim. I informed her that all these years I never paid for this service as it was always included . She stated sorry, but left the charge. I will never return to this Spa and I advise others as well. If you intend to continue using it I would advise to avoid Kat and question before having the service done. Rosann read more

I came for the easiest design (French tip with little red hearts). I asked them to give me acrylic for 3 nails because they're short. The man there did it sloppy and made it so thick. My nails were not the same shape and you can see streaks of the paint on my nails. When I asked them nicely to fix it and to make it the way I wanted it, they told me to leave and "never come back", cut the acrylic off and told me to go somewhere else. I'm never going there again. I am so impressed by this nail salon! I've been going here to get my nails done for about a year but I haven't been since Covid-19 began in March. Today I came back and they were taking all of the precautions. They have everyone wearing masks, plexiglass protectors separating each station, and they sanitized very thoroughly between every client. The woman who did my nails did a fantastic job, as well. Last-minute decision to get a pedicure and am so glad I went here. Wait time for a walk-in was less than 10 minutes. Staff is very friendly, there is a good color selection, and the facility is spotless. I opted for a spa pedicure, which was heaven after just running a 10K. Update 6/26: Unfortunately, today I had a very rough and uncomfortable "spa" pedicure. I warned the technician about an injured toenail, but she was not gentle at all and took half the nail about 3/4 of the way off. When filing the nails, she kept scraping the tops of my toes, too. Hours later, my feet are actually sore. Lastly, I was told it would be $45, but I was charged $58. Probably the worst pedicure I've ever had. Update 8/29: Despite the negative experience I had in June, I've been back a few more times and have found it's just one employee in particular who is too rough. I never leave reviews but service was so bad I had to warn others to steer clear. This used to be my go-to nail place but now I wouldn't recommend it to anyone!! I went in for an acrylic refill and the nail tech was either not trained or was rushing to get me out the door (neither of which are okay). Not only did she cut my nails WAY shorter than I wanted without consulting me, she also skipped several steps. If you get acrylics you know the standard process and I've never had someone skip steps at any salon. She didn't file down the sides like you would for a coffin shape, didn't push back cuticles, didn't have me wash my hands before applying polish, and didn't cure my nails before applying gel polish, just put the gel on the acrylic. I asked for a refill and coffin shape and came out with short, thick blocky nails that are already chipping after less than 24 hours. The last time I was here they glued one of the acrylics on basically at a 45 degree angle. If you ask them to fix something they just say there is nothing they can do and do not care. I had been trying to give them the benefit of the doubt because they used to do such good work but after this I won't be back. For $43 you can get MUCH better service elsewhere. read more

So genuinely this is the worst nail salon I've ever been to. The lady stood in front of the regular polish insisting I get gel even after I said I didn't want it. I got brown French tips and after she cut my cuticle until almost all of my nails bled, she then just painted half of my nail brown which is not at all what I asked for. Save your money. read more

I'm new to the area have been trying to find a good nail salon with friendly workers and good prices. I read the reviews on yelp and figured I would try it out. I walked in and was immediately greeted by the owner Andy. He was pleasant and asked me what I wanted done today, I told him. Then he walked me over the polish wall and told me to pick out a color. As we sat down at his table, we started talking. I told him I was new to the area and I was looking for a nail salon that I could go to regularly. He was very nice and friendly as we talked. He explained all the services he could provide me and all the prices as well. He let me decide before he continued on. The establishment was very clean, nicely decorated and had soft music playing in the background. It was a rainy Sunday morning so they weren't that busy, but busy enough to see that they had regulars and walk-ins. I got a full set gel manicure and a gel pedicure. The price was reasonable, I definitely have paid more and not been happy with the service. Andy the owner was fast, friendly and efficient at what he did. I came here to get a gel manicure because I had a few hours to kill, but I won't be going back. I asked for the holographic polish and the guy who was doing my nails had clearly never done them before. He messed them up and then seemed annoyed that I asked him to fix my nails so they'd at least all look the same. My cuticles are all messed up and extremely messy, and for some reason a few nails have weird bumps in them? By the time he was done 'fixing' them I just wanted to leave, there was no way he was going to be able to fix them without completely redoing everything. And with the way he got polish on my cuticles (flooded them) I know it's going to chip in a few days and I'll have to get them redone somewhere else. Super disappointed and won't be returning. Waste of my $$$. Went in here after an appointment next door. It was my first visit here, but I was mistakenly confident after seeing so many 5 star yelp reviews. I'm really dissatisfied and disappointed with my manicure. Such poor service that I feel like I gave away good money (or rather it was stolen). Everyone was nice and friendly, but this is such poor work. I don't know my techs name bc she didn't introduce herself. VERY little cuticle clean up, and was only done with the drill tip (no clipper or file). I picked out Kiara Sky dip color 509, I expected it would look just like the nail I picked out. The color came out so spotty, and doesn't even look like the color it should. I'm so disappointed I spent $32+tip on this. After leaving I went back in 5min later asking them to remove the color. They told me they couldn't but offered to paint over with "1 coat of gel" (by the man there). He also told me that this is what the color is supposed to look like. Which is ridiculous because then why wouldn't the sample nail look like this. I agreed to the paint over gel bc they wouldn't take off the spotty color, and I didn't want my nails to look awful. I found out after I left (from reading about dip and gel) that gel won't stay on over acrylic/dip, which I'm sure they knew and still offered as a fix. Poor work, poor customer service. Do not go here. Save your $$$. I've been to a couple nail spots in the area, and they've all be good, but not here. I'll be sticking to my regular nail salon in the future! read more

I recently moved to deptford nj and found this wonderful nail spot closeby. They have great prices, and long hours . The salon is also recently renovated or everything is just really pretty and new/clean looking. This is my regular spot I go to for nails and I get compliments all the time. (I deal poker for a living so people are stuck looking at my hands). I have a few times for holidays or special occasions gotten fun designs- which they do with ease. They are always properly staffed and I have always been able to walk in and not really wait much, if at all. The staff is all very friendly and go out of their way to provide good customer service. I think it's a bit of a hidden gem in a busy shopping center by Petco, but they really do a great job here, and I would highly recommend. read more

i was visiting family in NJ in november and we came to this salon. i got a gel french manicure and my cousin got a regular manicure. i cant remember the name of the guy who did my nails, but he did an excellent job. my cuticles looked good and the french shape was spot on, i just get them filed not cut and the shape was done nicely. if it was just me i would give them 5 stars, but the woman who did my cousins nails didnt as good of a job so im dropping it a star. my cousins cuticles werent totally cleaned up and she cut them kind of short. if i was in the area again i would come back and have the same person do my nails. read more

Worst Experience! I called the day before and made an appointment for 10:30 and specifically asked for someone that does French dip. And a pedicure. I went in and waited for a half an hour. A guy came and got me and I said you do know how to do French dip right? And said No! I said that's what I made an appointment for. So he said he would do my pedicure and they would find someone to do my dip. Worst pedicure I ever got. I had to ask him to polish closer to my cuticles because it looked like it was already grown out. The girl that did my dip gel said they don't really do dip gel there that there are only a few of them that do it and not many people get it and that not a lot of people ask for French. She had the redo a couple of nails but she did an okay job. She was very nice. I went up to pay and they told me my dip gel was $43! I have always paid $35 anywhere else I have ever gone. For a place that doesn't really do dip gel, I don't know where they get off charging that much! I will NEVER go back!they don't even seem that clean. NEVER AGAIN!! read more
