Deluxe Pedicure. Hot stone was a nice touch. I sat beside my friend who received a much longer massage and scrub application. I would have given this a 5 star review if there was consistency. I started 5 min after her and ended 5 min before her. That 10 minutes "lost" was most likely the missing massage time. One thing that was disturbing was that the man with long nails said "some customers come in here and pay for a basic pedicure and expect a massage" well- I paid for the Deluxe pedicure and felt ripped off that the service that I got wasn't on par with my friend. Perhaps that's why customers might feel like that. In any case, it's pretty unprofessional to really comment about other customers. The salon equipment was well maintained and everything was very clean. Great polish selection. They offered us a drink which I thought was a nice touch. Free WiFi. Love the new couple who runs this place! They're very friendly and takes good care of their customers. They acknowledge you right away and they're honest about their wait time. I don't usually plan my mani-pedi so i just walk in and so far I've been lucky not having to wait more than 30mins to get the service! I have finally found the holy grail of nail salons. Kai was AMAZING. My ombré nails were exactly what I have been wanting since moving to Wilmington. The staff is both pleasant and uplifting. I really thought that it might be "too upscale" for my taste (I am more "down to earth" and hippie at heart) but I am and was pleasantly surprised. I will be back and I will be asking for Kai!! Basic Mani pedi summary: Fast walk in available, nice cuticle trim and paint, definitely a fan The good: -gazillions of colors in both gel and regular paint -beautiful and "luxe" decor -very clean -surprisingly well staffed for a Wednesday evening to accommodate myself and 2 friends with 1 hr notice The bad: Not even really a "bad" thing, however, the leg/foot massage left much to be desired. Don't be fooled by the nice looking facade here. Stay far away from this place. I went here exclusively for manicures and pedicures when I first moved here. Within 4 months of only coming here I developed the worst toenail fungus I've ever seen. Not only is it unsanitary but they have rude staff, I witnessed a male employee yell at a girl for crying because he made her nails burn and bleed. He even ran after her and was taking photos of her license plate because their CC machine was down and they didn't have cash to pay and had to return. Even though he ripped her acrylic nails off and soaked them in acetone for 30 minutes and made them bleed. Every time I ever came here workers would sit in pedicure chairs when it's not busy with dirty bare feet and eat their lunch, without even cleaning it after. read more

Stephen is the only good thing about this salon. I make appointments every time but it doesn't matter. The last time I went (and stayed) I didn't mind the hour wait time that they said would be a few minutes. I even foolishly made another appointment, but was told again that it would take longer to get a seat. There are just much easier places to walk into. I'll first say that I went to this place before and they did a good job. However, this time was horrible. I got a dip powder manicure which was normally $40, but for this color I wanted the tech said it would be $55 which I went along with because the color was really neat. After I said okay, he changed to a different color that I didn't ask for and went ahead to do my nails. At the end he left my nails looking like I had just been doing finger painting. He didn't clean them up whatsoever and the color was supposed to be chrome, not purple for $55. read more

When I went here with my sister, we had a negative experience. I had a manicure done - it wasn't bad but it did seem the woman who did my nails was rushing and it was obvious by my manicure. My sister had a pedicure... perhaps the man who did my sisters nails was new because he did a very poor job. He cut her toe nail so that it was completely crooked and jagged, and the polish looked like a 5 year old did it. When I complained to the manager, they fixed her pedicure a bit but it still didn't look that good. They were also short staffed, so there was a lot of confusion. read more

Longest wait times. I've been twice with appointments both times. The first time I waited over 30 minutes and the second time was still waiting at 30 minutes before I left. The worst experience ever! The place is nice but dirty. I went in with my husband and granddaughter. We wanted pedicures and a color change for my granddaughter who is 3. My granddaughter was patient, at 3, and the lady who did my pedicure was to do her color change. Then some ladies came in, they were about to walk out because they did not want to wait and so she left my granddaughter to tend to these girls, with one coat of nail polish. I decided to leave after waiting for her over 10 minutes for her to return to my granddaughter. She charged me $12 for one coat of paint on her. Will never return. read more

Made an appointment two days prior. They sat me in the pedicure chair with cold water for over 20 mins and all seemed too busy to honor their schedules. Ended up walking out with water-logged feet. They didn't even seem to care after I told them I had made an appointment for a reason. Won't be returning. Really like this Salon. They're one of the few in Wilmington that seem to have SNS (the gel dip polish that lasts considerably longer). Everyone was very nice and accommodating. Had an appointment with Jenny for a SNS manicure. My nails have never looked better. They tend to grow crooked and she made sure to file them so they look straight. She even did that thing where she filed them while my hands were straight and then turned them to double check her work.
