John and Michelle are excellent. This is the only place I go to get my nails done. The salon is ALWAYS clean and that's one of the biggest factors for me in choosing a nail salon. So many in the past start out new and clean and then they let it go. LLN replaces the furniture, wipes down all is the surfaces regularly. There is no nail dust or dirty work stations. I love that. Second to that John always makes my nails look Amazing. They're not thick with polish or mishaped. They are consistently great. read more

If you have read any of my reviews about mail places, I have had some horror stories! Well, this was anything but horror today! I am in love with this place! As far as cleanliness- cleanest nail salon I have EVER saw. The staff even wear uniforms with the logo on it which seemed very professional to me. The owner, Michelle did my fill in. She was great to talk to and a master at nails. They charge the same price for a fill in for gel and acrylic. Tina did my pedicure. Best pedicure of my life. Her massage, her care of what she was doing and the chair were perfect! I got the signature pedicure and it was about an hour long. The decor of the place was so relaxing and I just couldn't get over how nice it was. There were a lot of people left waiting which shows me that they do great business but my friend and I had an appointment and we got right in. I will definitely be back!! read more

Sexual harassment from male technician! I (39 weeks pregnant) went in there to get a mani pedi yesterday for the big day. One of the male techs worked on me and had the audacity to ask "being pregnant do you get a tingly feeing when you have sex?" Absolutely out of line comment. When brought up with management they claimed the tech did not say such a thing and sided with him and refused a refund. I have been in there before without issue but they seemed to show their true colors yesterday. What a traumatic experience! PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! read more

I've been here three times and I actually never write bad reviews but I'm so disappointed I feel that I have to. I've never had a great experience here but needed to get a mani quick by my house. When I told the lady doing my nails what color I wanted she cringed and made a disgusted sound, telling me it's really bright and won't look good. Then proceeded to complain the whole time about how short my nails were. Shaped them horribly and asked me again why I picked that color. At check out the desk girl told me I can't tip on the card but if I wanted to go to Harris Teeter and get cash that would be great. Needless to say that for sure did not happen. Came here for a basic pedicure. Got a brand new person that didn't do a great job. No callous removal, didn't cut my nails at all and I've been here for an hour and 20 minutes. So impatient. Long leaf nail is not my normal nail place. I usually go to L.V nails in Wrightsville Beach. My mom made appointments for her, my sister, and I to get our nails done there. I had a bad experience before, what happened was the gel came right off my finger nails not even a week later. But I wanted to give it another try because that was a couple of years ago. So I went back very sweet people!!! But then once they started my nails they made my cuticles bleed so much!!! Then messed up on my manicure and took all of it off. Made me soak my hands in finger nail polish remover and it was burning so bad because my cuticles were hurting so bad!! Then the guy made me sit there for 30 minutes and went to do another customers nails. Then someone else redid mine then hurt my cuticles even worse. I have gone twice for gel nails with John. Just made my appointment for a fill in. I have been VERY happy with the results!! I tried gel quite a few years ago and was very unhappy with the results. I asked for a Mani-peddi for two people. The lady who did my pedicure was GREAT! The owner did my manicure and she wasn't that nice. I wanted to add some acrylic. After she placed the acrylic on she was about to paint my nails, I asked what happened to my manicure, she said that's $10 extra! She butchered my cuticles and didn't do a good job painting my nails!! I spent $109 on Saturday and I'm not satisfied with her at all! I said I wanted a sporty length and they barely come over the tips of my fingers!! read more

Three strikes and you're OUT! First strike was about a year ago, when I was told "rightaway" and sat for over 15 minutes with no attention. Second strike was, although a nice job by John, charged a surprisingly higher price than other salons. Swore I wouldn't go back. But needed a quick repair on one hand and saw that they were not busy. This was one of the worst pedicures I have ever experienced. The prices are not correctly posted on their board. They charge prices that you would expect at a high end spa but offer terrible service. My legs were not massaged. I left with lumpy nail polish that looked like a 5 year old had painted my nails. The nail dryer did not work. The manager was rude. Do not waste your time or money. If you've never had a good pedicure then you probably think this place is ok. I've had good pedicures before and this place can't compare. They are about quantity not quality. By the time you start to relax they're done. The leg massage lasted less than two minutes a leg, the cuticle removal process lasted five minutes at best. Nail polish was spilled on my shoe and nail polish was not removed from my skin. Definitely will not return!!! read more

This place is owned and ran by some very nice people. It was by far the best massage I ever got at a pedicure. The actual paint job is holding up okay. Very good salon, with friendly techs, and excellent skill level. The only issues I have with this salon are that it is almost always very crowded, and their prices for gels is a little steep. They're not a "luxury" salon, but the prices they charge for gel nails are equivalent to one. I made this account and downloaded the Yelp app, for the SOLE PURPOSE of informing the public of the horrible experience I had at this location. I came in to get acrylics done a few days ago. The experience was fine, but expensive and took a very long time. As soon as I left, one of my nails snapped off because they had made it so thin. I came back in and asked them to please just fix my single finger. I didn't even ask for color. Just the nail. On the sign, it says repairs are "$3-$5". The lady at the desk told me it would be $8. For one nail. No color. She was rude and condescending, and left me leaving the place with so much anger I went out of my way to download this app and write this. That is all. read more

Very receptive to me asking for hotter water a couple times and paying special attention to rough spots I pointed out on my feet. I've been here once before with no problem, I left satisfied with the work they had done. I just went in today and I was asked what I wanted done. I said I just wanted my nails painted regular color. The man asked me to pick out a color and as I started doing so, he said "can you come back later?" I looked at him confused said "come back?" He said "yeah can you come back later we're busy".
