This isn't a simple I'm sorry issue this serious specially when you the amount money I did to rent this place. I think that if you express your self and reach to management it is not for them to brush it under the carpet it's for them to take action. Ok so I spent over 10k on an event where I even opened a tab on my credit card for my guest. I spent over 2k on drinks and telling them I didn't want my guest to pay for anything well that didn't happened they were charging them anyway. They started the tequila shots good at the beginning and then I caught them only serving half the amount but still charging the same amount. Ok so I started by telling you to keep eye I personally saw there staff helping selfs to some special treats that I purchased for my guest they would fill up there plates walk in one door and go out the other they thought no one was looking but I saw them personally. Crooks I also reach out to there management expecting a call back I guess they didn't think this mattered I told them that there staff needs to come to work properly dressed the bar tender could use a belt he was sagging with his pants half way down his butt and working along side with Christine who at no point said anything. Before we locked in out event we told her our guest would be bringing bottles as gifts and asked not to turn them away well that didn't happened. 30 min before my event was over they start to pick up the bows of the chairs as if dough telling my guest the party was over . My event was paid up to 12am. Ok and here is the big shocker who in there right mind puts a security guard to turn on the lights before the event is over and stand in the middle of the your event. I explained to them this was wrong and ignored me this isn't a prison where guest have to be ushered out we don't need a chaperone. If I spent this kind of money for one night have the respect and decency to honor a contract and specially you have been doing this for long time. This is very unprofessional as a business owner this doesn't flow. I wouldn't rent this place again so if I was you I'd check out other places that don't act like this place did.

During the process, I unfortunately lost my original coordinator, and I was transferred to another coordinator. At first, I was a little frustrated because I was doing something I have never done before, and I wanted the experience to be as beautiful and memorable as possible. Then I met Sarah, and immediately I thought, "Okay, okay... I can work with her!" Sarah completely changed my experience. She made the entire closing process at the White House unbelievably pleasant, smooth, and memorable. My brother recently had his wedding at the White House Event Center on August 28, and honestly, the venue was everything we hoped for and more! We used their bartending, catering, security, day-of coordinator, DJ, and décor services, and we were so happy with everything. Our family and friends had nothing but great things to say about the food, drinks, décor, music, and the venue itself. The staff was professional, friendly, and really helpful throughout the whole day. One thing we really appreciated was that they handled the setup and cleanup afterward. Any leftovers we brought in, like the cake and beverages, were packaged up for us to take home after the wedding, which was one less thing for us to worry about at the end of the night. And I have to give a HUGE shoutout to Sarah, the day-of coordinator. She was amazing! She did such a great job communicating with the DJ, Mariachi, and Banda to make sure everything transitioned smoothly. You could really see how much she was paying attention to the little details. For example, during the wedding party entrance, the DJ called everyone in by name with their music, and then just a few seconds later, the bride and groom entered with the Mariachi. Everything flowed perfectly! She also asked ahead of time if there were any priority tables for dinner service, besides the bride and groom. Because of that, the wedding party and both sets of parents were able to eat first and then greet guests who were arriving afterward. It was such a thoughtful thing to ask and made a big difference. Sarah also helped coordinate the vendors we brought in for flowers/decorations, late-night snacks, music, and photography/videography. We had a Polaroid guest book where guests could take a picture and leave a message. During the couple's "romantic" photo session, Sarah even took a few pictures for us to add to the guest book. Honestly, if anything went wrong that day, we didn't even notice because Sarah was on top of everything. She really helped keep the day running smoothly and allowed our family to actually enjoy the wedding instead of worrying about what was happening behind the scenes. Overall, we had such a great experience with the White House Event Center. Our family and friends had an amazing time, and we couldn't have asked for a better team to help make the day so special. Would 100% book again and definitely recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding!

After planning my dad's 70th birthday party last year and doing literally everything myself at a different venue, I knew this time around I wanted a place where I could actually enjoy the celebration. This venue exceeded my expectations and took so much off my plate. The owner, Gilbert, was amazing from beginning to end. He was kind, generous, flexible, and incredibly easy to work with. Whenever I had a question, he responded to my texts in a timely manner and always found a way to help. His communication and willingness to work with me made the entire planning process so much easier. The venue itself is beautiful. They have two newly renovated banquet rooms at their Bell Gardens location, along with their own parking lot. We used the smaller room, which holds around 80 guests, and it was the perfect size for our celebration. The package included so much--the food, linens, tables, chairs, plating, and even beautiful centerpieces that I was able to borrow. They also have gorgeous, Instagram-worthy backdrops, including greenery and floral walls, beautiful lighting, and a really nice bar area. And one of my favorite surprises was that the birthday cake and delivery were included! I didn't have to worry about ordering, picking up, or transporting a cake, which was one less thing for me to think about. The venue also included a bartender, while allowing us to provide our own alcohol and drinks. This was a huge plus because many of the other venues I contacted had very strict policies requiring you to purchase their alcohol, use their vendors, or prohibiting outside food and treats altogether. I really appreciated the freedom and flexibility this venue offered. There are also speakers throughout the venue if you want to play music directly from your phone. We didn't end up using them because we had our own music setup, but it's a great option to have. They also have TV screens, which gave us another way to personalize the celebration. We displayed a childhood photo of my mom on one of the screens, and at the bar we displayed a custom drink menu we created for the party. Security was another feature I really appreciated. With another banquet room right next door, security helped direct guests to the correct party and kept an eye on the property. It gave everyone peace of mind, and we didn't have to worry about constantly checking our cars or belongings outside. Our guests felt safe and comfortable throughout the evening. The decorating options were also fantastic. They allowed me to come in early the morning of the event, and because there wasn't another party scheduled the day before, they even let me decorate the day before! I had called so many other venues while researching, and none of them offered that option. Being able to get everything set up ahead of time made a huge difference for me. During the party, the staff continued to be wonderful. They were attentive, helpful, and even cleaned up throughout the event, allowing us to focus on celebrating instead of worrying about the cleanup. Another pleasant surprise was the price. Even with everything that was included, we paid a little less than we did for my dad's party last year at a different venue--and at that party, I had to handle practically everything myself. Most importantly, my family and friends loved it. After the party, several people reached out to me saying, "That place was so nice! How did you find it?" Everyone commented on the delicious food, how friendly the staff was, and how beautiful the venue looked. Hearing that from our guests meant so much to me. I am so grateful we chose this venue for such an important milestone. Gilbert and his team helped make my mom's 70th birthday truly special, and I would absolutely love to have another family celebration here in the future. This was huge for me because I wanted to minimize wedding-planning stress. Our package included the ceremony and reception spaces, lounge area, open bar with signature drinks, catering, DJ, florals for the space, photobooth, table settings/decorations, donut wall, and more. We really only had to arrange an officiant, photographer, cake, donuts, and our personal florals--and they even had recommendations for all of those. It made planning so much easier! 2) They're dog-friendly! Our pup Benji was able to be part of our ceremony, which was incredibly special to us. Dogs can't stay for the reception, but we hired a sitter who took care of Benji before and during the ceremony and brought him home afterward. I was so grateful that he could be included in such an important part of our day. 3) The pricing is very reasonable. We felt the pricing was straightforward and appreciated how flexible they were about helping us stay within our budget. Booking on a Friday evening or Sunday morning, for example, can be more affordable than a Saturday. I really felt like Rose was on our side and wanted to help us make it work. 4) The staff are wonderful. Rose was warm and welcoming from our very first tour, and the whole staff was incredibly kind and genuinely excited for us. And Jamie, our day-of coordinator, was AMAZING. With a guest count of 200, we felt that the reception hall was perfectly fitted; not too big and not too cramped either. 200 was too big to fit inside the ceremony hall, which was our one and only complaint. But, guests who sat outside mostly said their view was okay/clear. *Lily was a superstar. She truly took care of us and was on top of everything. Numerous guests noted that this was the most organized and well-running wedding they had ever been to, which was all due to Lily running the show. I would recommend having Lily as your coordinator 1000x over. *Bang for your buck. This was the first venue we toured, and after hearing the price and what was included there was absolutely question in our mind to book it. I was getting the same quote for ~80-100 guests that I did for 200 here. It was priceless being able to include as many guests while not having to compromise on other factors because they were all included in our package. We also LOVED the grooms suite. So many times the groom is left in the dust but this space was perfect and the guys really enjoyed it. The entire team, Rose and her son, our waitstaff, DJ Larry, and Lily were truly amazing to work with. We would choose the vintage rose for any of our future events!
