Very annoyed with the unprofessionalism here. I wanted to get my eyebrows waxed, so this location was close to me and I wanted to give it a try. I called in advance and asked if I needed an apt or could I just come in, they said no worries come in. I get there it's nice inside, nothing over the top just simple. I was greeted and I asked who was the best to do my eyebrows was told who, but then was told but pick the first available. No I'm picking who I want to - especially when your machine gave me an option to pick someone. So whatever I got the person I wanted and while she did a really good job, she did try to upsell and I told her no. The vibes changed quickly. Anyways I go to pay with my Venmo card and with my Venmo card every transaction sends me an immediate text and email. So I go to pay and I get my text and email and the guy checking me out said it didn't go through. I literally show him the phone, I'm showing you it went through. He insisted it didn't go through. I had to be at work soon, so whatever i knew I would contact Venmo and handle it- so I pay NOW with my bank card and that worked as well. So I was charged twice. Because he did say sometimes Venmo will say pending and not complete, and I agree this does happen but I knew they were being scammy. So contacted Venmo and here is this review. Just careful with this place. I'm still trying to get my money back. I also screenshotted both successful transactions, so if anyone wants to lie I have the proof. It sucks because my eyebrows did look really good but I much prefer to take my business somewhere else where they don't scam. That's why I'm going 2 stars and not one just to be fair because she did do a good job on the eyebrows they just have shady practice. read more

My review is based on the only service I've received here so far, which was a pedicure: I'm in Winter Garden on the weekends so was looking for a nail salon in the area. I walked in here to find many familiar faces from a place I used to go to in a different area of town. So random, but I was so happy! The massage chairs in here are the best I've experienced; I loved the shoulder and arm massage part of it. The entire place is nice and clean. I went here because my usual place couldn't get me in and I heard really great things about this salon. I called ahead and asked if they did Gel X (because acrylics were just awful with my nails) and they told me they did. When I arrived I checked in and selected the first available person. She seemed nice at first and took a look at my nails, I had one that was broken and she attempted to do acrylics before I stopped her and re-asked if they did Gel X, and explained the rest of my nails were Gel X. She nodded and replaced the nail with a Gel X nail, but with Gel X from my experience at every salon I have been to; you have to take off the nails and reapply them. She did not do that but I decided to trust the process because I didn't get a cosmetology license. Throughout the process she would grab and pull me a little too hard, she burned me with the dremmel multiple times, and left my hands dirty with the dust from dremmeling them the whole time. She asked if I wanted them cut shorter and I told her yes, she showed me them after taking the tiniest amount off, I asked for shorter and she did the same thing. I asked for my nails rounded and without the point and she did it for one nail to show me and once I told her it looked good she did not repeat the process for my other nails. The nails are now bumpy from all the dust she left on and are so sharp and pointy to the point that I could scratch someone's eye out with one swipe (with the exception of one nail). My tech complained to her co-workers the entire time that she wanted to go home and rushed through the process. I get my nails done so I can relax after work and I was not relaxed through this visit. I will NOT be returning, and have an appointment booked with my traditional salon as I would rather pay for someone to redo this job than stick it out until my next fill. read more

Unfortunately, they lost my business. As they've gotten successful and busier, their work became more rushed and lasted less amounts of time. Additionally, booking an appointment doesn't help here. One day, I watched the owner turn people away, saying they needed to come back another day despite having appointments. My final visit was I arrived for my 2pm appointment and was put in a chair at 2:40. They THEN asked me to come back in an hour and a half. When I said "But my appointment was for 40 minutes ago", he responded "Yeah, but we're busy." That was a complete waste and lack of appreciation for my time. I decided to try this place since I couldn't book my usual salon and it had good reviews. I also booked with Sebastien because everyone said he was great. The place looked very nice inside and had lots of available times which was great. They do not have a ton of dip colors to choose from, but they do have a lot of gel options. That was a bit disappointing. I decided not to do a design this time around since I wasn't prepared and purposely didn't book a design appointment but I did feel like this upset the tech as he asked me at least 5x if I was sure throughout the session. He did a good job with the shape but he did hurt me a few times with the dremel. At the end, he also scratched up one of my fingers with one of the buffers to where it hurt for two days and I had little marks. Honestly I was going to look past this because it happens sometimes, but when I went to pay he told me he was longing away and that I should just book at my other salon next time. I was pretty taken aback as you'd think he'd still tell me to come see someone else there. I had not complained or really said very much during the session so I just was surprised by this. Honestly, it's been a few days since my appointment but the more I've thought about this part of the appointment the more it's just really bothered me. My experience getting a regular manicure with Tracey was disappointing. From the beginning, she was completely unprofessional. She loudly complained about my choice of a regular manicure instead of gel or extensions, which made me feel judged. To make matters worse, in the middle of the service, she made me get up to pay before she had even started to paint my nails. At that point, she had only done my cuticles and filed my nails. When I reasonably asked to pay at the end of the service so I could tip her after the service was finalized, she dismissively told me that a tip wasn't needed because a regular manicure was "a simple service" that did not require one. This interaction left me feeling completely disrespected. In the end, the result was as bad as the experience. The finish on my nails had multiple issues. I do not recommend this salon, and especially not this professional. read more

I arrived 5 minutes early for my appointment. They were so disorganized! They had no idea who was going to do my nails and scrambled to find someone. They were constantly trying to upsell me and pressure me to add things on. After my manicure, they switched people and had someone else do my pedicure. He was constantly distracted with other clients and PAINTED MY TOES THE WRONG COLOR. Disappointed to say the least. read more

What a great find! I was in serious need of a mani but wound up working much later than expected, so figured I was out of luck. BUT - then I found Luxor Nails, and called to confirm that they were open until 8 pm! The salon was beautiful and clean, and had the most amazing massage chairs! Lisa was wonderful - I had a great mani, pedi, and overall experience. $85 for SHORT French.. I have absolutely no problem paying for a nice detailed set. But come on a basic simple design, I came with a picture and that couldn't even be delivered. Left with some crooked nails too. When she started to do the "french" design normally no curve, I corrected her to match the picture she said it was $15 extra, okay no problem. Maybe second time is the charm? I went to Luxor at their earliest appointment on a Saturday (10am). First off, I had no issues with customer service, everyone was friendly. However, the appointment felt pretty rushed. My tech was looking around and checking in other customers during my appointment. That alone wouldn't normally bother me too much, but I had to remind him that his missed a dip layer on one of my nails, there was residue left around some of my nails, and the shape isn't consistent across all of my nails with some having bumps & ridges. No concerns with my pedicure, it is fairing much better than my dip. Maybe Saturday is best for quick appointments. I definitely wouldn't write them off entirely the vibe is good and the staff is nice, but next time I'd probably go to a different tech on a different day. read more

The WORST EXPERIENCE I've ever had at a nail salon. I walked in today, November 9th around 2:30pm. The nail tech I had was RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL and LAZY! I came in wanting to just take my apres gel x nails off. Normally the top coat is filed down, nails soaked in acetone, then a tool is used to scrap off the excess, and finally it's buffed out. This nail tech proceeded to take off the nails by digging a tool underneath it and forcefully peel it off without any acetone prep or anything (picture attached). When I told him that I wanted to do the acetone method he then complained that it was going to take longer and tried to convince me that the chemicals would ruin my nails as if he wasn't ripping the off aggressively already. He then got up with an attitude and was rude the entire time after that. I also was talking to another client next to me and every time I would look at him doing my nails he would say "don't look at me, talk to her." While ripping my nail off with the tool he ripped my actual nail which was not previously ripped. After doing the acetone, he noticed the rip on my middle nail and started to pick at it with his own nails. Instead of appropriately cutting and filing it down he left it that way! He also cut my ring and index nail super short when there was no need because they were NOT BROKEN! He then pushed my nail down and said it was soft because of the "chemicals" as if leaving nails soaking in any form of liquid wasn't going to leave them soft anyway. I should've walked out of there without paying because it was truly an awful experience and torture to my nails. I really wish that I would've gotten his name to blast him out on here. The only thing he cared about was getting me out of there as quick as possible by doing the lazy method of ripping my nails off rather than taking extra 20 minutes to soak them off then file. Save your time and nails by going somewhere else. read more

Nice new and clean salon. Went with the signature pedi and was slightly disappointed for the price. Paid for the callous removal and technician didn't remove the callouses. Did a decent job but left underwhelmed with some heal callous on one foot. Color choices where great, easy payment method, message chairs great but disappointed in signature pedi. Will come back but will not upgrade as the additional bells and whistles where not worth the additional price. read more

Would never recommend! I've been here 3 times and only had a good experience once with Fugi and he no longer works here. The other 2 techs, one was Sebastian and I don't know the other, used the electric sander to trim my cuticles, digging into my skin and causing me to bleed on several fingers. They continued even after they saw blood and I told them it hurt. I get dip for every manicure and both techs left dip under my nails and on my skin and since it went under the UV light to set it won't come off even though they both swore it would. My nails are uneven shape wise, chunky through the dip, my skin has chunks of dip all around and under my nails, and my cuticles are cracked, bloody, and inflamed. Would not recommend coming here for a manicure ever. read more

This place was downright awful. It looks nice on the outside and the inside, but it was an awful experience. Starting with the cheapest pedicure being almost $40.?! Are you kidding me?! Then the massage chairs nearly broke my back. Not even a week later my pedicure is peeling off. the guy who did my sisters toenails did an awful job and just left her to go home, another guy had to come in and fix her toenails two times, because the nail polish was awful and kept clumping up, needless to say I am definitely not happy with the price we paid for this and what we got for it. I was wandering around after running in the Disney race that morning looking for a place still open so I could get a pedicure. I happened upon this place after a Target run, and decided to walk in and see if they had time for one. It was a few minutes past 7:30pm and their door said they close at 8:00. They came up to me and asked what I would like and I said just a pedicure, they offered to do a mani as well but I said no thank you. Let me tell you it was the best pedicure I've ever had. Despite it being the end of the night, Sam did a very thorough and beautiful job. She as well as the other employees I had an encounter with were just so nice. The prices were pretty standard but I've never seen a nail salon so clean! I would've thought it would cost more. The only thing I didn't care for was the chair. I couldn't figure out how to recline without the massager which felt like it was squeezing me at times. I probably could have asked and they would have fixed it for me but oh well! I will definitely return here the next time I'm in the area! read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience today was completely horrible. I went in for an acrylic fill. The tech kept pushing into some new glitter thing they have and I gave it a try. After doing a nail with the glitter, I let her know that I did not like the nails. She proceeded to tell me there's nothing she can do because she isn't going to start over. She finished the set and I was super unhappy. I even offered to pay more just for her to fix it. She said no and told me to come in another day because she had other appointments . I went home called the salon for a refund since I went to another salon to get them fixed. I was told I won't be receiving a refund and that I am extremely picky. When in reality, they left me with ugly glitter nails and nail polish on my skin ( the tech didn't even bother cleaning it up ). Won't be returning ever again. Anyways, I recommend going to "Ritzy Nail Lounge", they have amazing customer service not shitty like Luxor. read more
