I usually just get a standard $20 pedi here and i am always a happy customer, esp the couple weeks following...it's a quality pedicure and doesn't chip which is awesome. i've gone a few times after work around 5:30 and i always get sat right away, even tho i still call ahead just in case. love coming here, such a great find! the girls here are always really nice too and actually conversate with you which is nice. read more

I received a manicure with mary at luxor nails a few days ago and the very next day at work my co-workers noticed how well my nails looked. I bite my nails and she worked her magic and made them presentable for my job. The environment is peaceful and spacious and close to restaurants and parks. This place has HORRIBLE service I showed them a picture of the exact design that I wanted which was marble and no one in the whole salon knew how to do it, then the manager/owner claimed she knew how so she ended up doing the marble and it came out horrible she clearly didn't know what she was doing then on top of that they charged me $55 for a full acrylic set bcuz of the so called "design" which didn't even turn out nothing close to the picture. I have been coming here for a year now for mani and pedicures, I have always been happy with my nails. But lately I have been getting my eyebrows waxed with Mary and she just introduced me to eyebrow tinting and she did such an amazing job. I just got into yelping but I have always struggled with finding a good brow lady or trusting anyone with my brows and I'm very happy I let her try. Hope my pics help. Been looking for a new go to nail shop for over a year now. Thought i'd try here since it looked new. They took us pretty much on time which was good. Pedicure: NO massage ??? Barely any scrubbing. My heels and feet look like I didn't get a pedicure and my tired feet certainly didn't feel better. Polish was ok job but no overcoat applied. Again, NO massage ugh. Manicure: NO massage, lots of hang nails left, my polish looks cheap, looks like my 2 year old did it. The place was not dirty but not clean and they spent 2 hours doing this mani / pedi. But for my third time skipped the gel nails beacause they did not even last 2 weeks before chipping off. This last time I went for the mani pedi for $27. They charge $7.00 extra to take off the gel polish (which they put on 2 weeks earlier)since I was just getting a clear coat on my nails this time. Outrageous , they only put one coat of clear, but $7 to take off the polish. She claimed it was for extra filing. I told her I was paying for the manicure already. Went today at lunchtime for a pedi and an eyebrow wax. They took me right away even though I didn't have an appointment. Great experience! The chairs are very nice and they didn't even mind that I had my infant daughter with me. Most important to me, and why I was ok having the baby with me, was there wasn't that overwhelming nail polish smell you get in most places. Not sure how they do it but it seemed well ventilated. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Had gone here on more than one occasion and am happy with my nails, however, this establishment operates on a first come first serve basis. On more than one occasion I've seen repeat customers with scheduled appointments be asked to return later or asked for their phone number so that they can be called to come back. Today, the woman also in the waiting area with me was left waiting for an hour before she walked out. My pre-scheduled appointment was disregarded as walk-ins had filled my appointment slot and I was asked to come back later. When I said I could not come back later that day I was asked to come back two days later. If you can even imagine it. I then left and will not be returning ever again. Don't bother scheduling an appointment here - it apparently has no meaning. read more

Had my nails and a pedicure done. I wanted a French Manicure with sparkly tips like what I came in there with. What I walked out with was glitter, not sparkles, yellowed nails that were horribly filed uneven. I now have to wait and let them grow out just to have them done properly. Never again will I be desperate and go there again. As far as the pedicure goes, the worst I ever have had. Barely clipped my nails down and did not paint the top of the toe nail. Recently popped in for a mani-pedi. Wonderful friendly women. Both ladies really did an excellent job on both my hands and feet. I am super picky about how my nails are filed and painted and they did a superb job. The best part was the neck and shoulder massage I received while my nails were drying. Oh my. And very comfortable massage seats as well. It's been several days now and my manicure still looks perfect- no chipping....I have gone to a couple of nail salons in Dublin and have been disappointed each time. Came here recently with my friends as a birthday surprise from my husband. I debated about whether or not to leave this review but I think it could be a teachable moment. The woman doing my friend's nails asked "Is your husband white because he sounded sweet and usually Black people speak more aggressively and loud?" She laughed about it and continued saying how sweet, nice he was and was very surprised he was Black. I kindly let her know that he is Black (like me). I didn't say anything in the moment (I was pretty taken aback and uncomfortable) but the more I thought about the more it made me sad that we are placed in a box and expected to speak and behave in certain ways due to the color of our skin. I hope that this review breaks down stereotypes and leads this company to expand their thoughts and behavior. That was pretty hurtful. Though I thought my nails were done I can't go back in good conscious and support a company that holds such biases. I hope all companies begin implementing diversity training to ensure that all people are welcomed, respected and judged by the content of their character and not the color of their skin. read more

Came here on a whim since it was right across from Nothing Bundt Cake and decided to indulge in a pedicare. I was with my cousin and upon entering the salon was empty which was perfect since it meant no wait. My cousin and I were seated next to each other at the same time but no one came out to start on her pedicure until my old polish was taken off and my leg massage had started. Then the lady working on my cousin disappeared for a long time. My pedicure was finished and the lady who had done mine now had to go start on my cousin's. It was strange but the lady told us that the other lady had an emergency. I liked the feeling I got when I walked into this place. The music was very soothing and helped to relax me as I'm always a bit nervous about pedicures and manicures. I was amazed at the massage chairs - its much better than you can imagine. You have to feel it. Mary gave me a pedicure and a manicure. Staff was and is friendly as ever (don't believe the dog owner). I had my feet done by my usual pedicurist and once again it was good. After recently moving we were on the hunt for a new salon for mani/pedi's. Based on reviews we checked out Luxor Nails. I called on Saturday morning and was able to get an appointment for 30 minutes later. When we (my daughter and I) arrived we were the only ones there. They immediately started with the mani/pedi's and we were not overly impressed. The massage was lacking in pressure and length. Nothing exciting, this will not be our new nail salon. I have been going there since they opened and the ladies are a friendly bunch and a joy to be around. They seem genuinely happy to see me and do not complain about the work. I get pedicures every two weeks and have never had a complaint. I wandered into Luxor this past Sunday afternoon for a mani. Was greeted warmly by Nancy, who enticed me into a pedi, too (it wasn't hard, I was debating it anyway). There was a short wait, but I got to sit in the massage chair and soak my feet while I waited, so I did not mind at all : ) Tami did my mani and Natalie, Nancy's daughter did my pedi and I am very pleased with both. Everyone there is friendly and easy to talk to. The massage chairs are awesome and the place is spotless. Natalie helped pick my color and I love it (I can never seem to decide)! I am new to the area and am very happy to have found my new go to nail place. After reading the raves about the spa pedi, I am going to go back and treat myself to that soon. read more

This place is horrible !! I went one day after work with my coworker to get a full set and the staff was in such a rush to get us out of there so they could go home and they did a horrible job! I wanted a gel full set acrylic and they didn't use powder they used some different type of material and than they barely filed my nails! My nails were uneven and not smooth. I even mentioned it to them but they said no it's fine I'm like ok?? But anyways it's only been a week and my nails are chipped and broken and the gel has come off like really.?? I have never had this bad experience before where my nails come off in one week??!!! And I paid 50$$$??? For what ? Bullshit ? I am never going here again and don't fall for the 4 reviews I did.
