I wish I could leave a good review for luxury Kare but Instead I got cancelled by them last minute to stay somewhere else bc they weren't "available " for the week of my stay. I booked a month in advance with them an paid them in full. They did refund me my money and referred me to another recovery home. What I don't understand is why would they email me to get the deposit and full payment to just cancel my stay 2 days before my surgery if they knew those dates were available why waste my time when I could've gone else where, the place I was referred to was 40 min away from where I was getting my surgery. ladies before booking with them double check to make sure the dates you choose are actually available before sending them money so you don't get cancelled last minute. read more

SCAM BUSINESS. Paid in full a month prior for her to cancel my stay 4 days before my surgery!!! She will not issue a refund or answer any communication. I wanted to stay here based off of the perfect reviews I saw online but quickly realized things were a little suspicious. I am in different surgery groups where we share experiences or ask questions so I shared my experience about how the owner Ronda was writing me very quickly at first until I asked about her credentials as a nurse. I immediately was ghosted. Once I shared this experience I began to notice comments within groups about negative experiences and even messages to my private message about how unsanitary they are and unprofessional. There is even a yelp review from January about the lack of professionalism. I was booted from a fb group called Surgery 411 for speaking out because the owners Isis and Asheli are friends with the owner of the recovery house. They harassed me within the group in an attempt to scare me which did not work. Be careful when it comes to your health and lives ladies and beware of money hungry recovery houses and surgery blogs. I was going to get the the largest package Mia aesthetics had to offer until I saw that luxury kare had everything I needed. Ronda was helpful until I asked for the address, I only asked because I wanted to check out the hotels nearby so that my husband could stay near the house. RONDA told me I didn't need the address and that I could send the money without the address. She only told me the house was 30 mins away from the airport and mia. I asked was it a problem with me having the address then she just ignored me. I sent about 4 messages in a three day period. I could see that they were active on line but still no response. Im just upset that I cancelled my package that included everything to be treated so rudely now I have to find so where else to stay and purchase everything on my own. read more

Very unprofessional rude customer sErvice skills needs serious help/ improvement . When you call u wont know you are calling a business or someone's personal phone bc they answer their phone by saying hello in a irritable manner as if u called their personal phone and a why are u bothering me manner. And the person who answered the phone did not talk proper English so why you geTting frustrated with the client if you aren't speaking clearly. Thatwas very rude and unprofessional and a turn off if you are rude over the phone to customers how the hell do u treat them when they are in need of your help that they paid their hard earned money for, in your recovery home after u have already rec'd their money . On my ph call i sensed a upppity " miss I don't need your money bc its more customers where u came from, and telling someone they're not the right fit bc u let them know u weren't sure u called a business or personal phone bc they answered by saying "hello " they didn't answer the phone acknowledging that u just called a business but more so like u called someones personal number. I enjoyed my 10 day stay at Luxury Kare in December 2019! They took such great care of me I wanted to find a way to stay a few days longer.

Communication at first was great, after I paid my deposit communication sucked, I had to call and text several times, once I pay Deposit she doesn't answer me .it took me 3 days of calling, she finally answered me with a attitude on the phone. I took my business else where smh read more

I enjoyed my stay at luxury Kare, they always make sure meals are ready for you on a daily basis whether your sleeping or not. The food was great and was different every day! Pretty much anything I asked for was given to me no hesitations. The bathroom was tended to within the hour if there was any mess. I felt like they truly cared about me while I stayed there and was willing to help with anything. I waited 5 days to write this review just to see if the owner of Luxury Kare would reach out once I left the recovery home, but of course she didn't. First I want to say, the staff that works there is amazing, they are all nice ladies. Ruth, Janel, Michelle, Ms, Jackson and even the driver Marvin. My stay was just recently in May for 5 nights. The stay was ok, the house is clean, the staff made me feel very comfortable, they are very welcoming as well. Would I recommend a recovery home? NO. The things that they do is very basic and mediocre and you can pay your mother, BESTFRIEND, friend, even hire a private nurse for better assistant. We received three meals a day. Breakfast, lunch & dinner and snacks and beverages throughout the day.. The food is ok, some meals were better than others. Pros: you meet different people. Cons: Your bloody clothes are washed with everyone's else clothes, so the smell is super strong. Only one wash per day as well. Bring your own robe, towels, rags and etc because it's recycled from other bloody girls which is highly unsanitary. After 12pm the stove can not be turned on or anything can't be cooked. Please be mindful that dinner is served around 6-7pm. Two of the staff were pretty new so they just seemed lost with everything. It was things that I knew more than them. They are not nurses and I'm pretty sure Rhonda isn't a nurse either. I was told that Rhonda were suppose to be doing our pre op massages and she used to do them but now she has one of her staff doing them and I'm pretty sure she's not suppose to. One of the reason.. she open incisions to drain out the fluid and blood, when you're not suppose to.. That will cause infections. First day out of surgery, I was so weak, bloody, pee'd on myself and my bed and I was told that my chucks and bed can't be changed because it's the first day and it's going to get messy again. I literally begged one of the staff to change my bed, so I can sleep comfortably and not in a puddle of pee and blood. Transportation? I spent $261 in Uber's to be transported to my appointments because Rhonda said she only service miami Florida areas. Which is so odd because the original location is about 30 minutes from Miami airport and so was all my pre op appointments as well.. It's very sad and uncomfortable to be taking Uber's when you're swollen, not from the location, fresh out of surgery and weak. No guidance, no assistance, no one. I did not like that at all.. The OVERALL issue is, I find it rude and disrespectful to not introduce yourself to your house guests. Check in came and I didn't see Rhonda until the day before I left. She only came to tell the staff that me and another girl was checking out. It was a quick "hi, I'm Rhonda." I barely acknowledge the hi because I was over her at this point. No "heyyyyyy how's the stay, how do you feel, how's everything going?" How do you not check on your girls, better yet introduce yourself to them. Without these girls you wouldn't be able to feed yourself, family and staff! It should be mandatory to check in with ALL GUESTS the day they check IN and the day they CHECK OUT, thats the minimum you can do. The day of check out, still no Rhonda. No "thanks for the stay, safe flight, safe recovery" NADA! If you guys don't mind 100% hospitality then stay, if you mind small things like the pros and cons listed above, please just book a private nurse. One of the girls there had it real bad because she had to get a blood transfusion. One day she wasn't feeling well and called Rhonda to ask her what should she do.. Rhonda told her "I mean I don't know, how do you feel?"..  How are you a nurse and do not know what to do?? Better yet how are you a nurse and don't stop by and check on your house guests? People are just opening recovery houses and stealing peoples money. She's also very secretive with the address as well and now it all makes sense. You do not receive the address until you touch down. The address that I received was the 2nd location and not even the main one. I really was going to hold out on this review because I own a business myself and for sure dislike when people try to take money from my pocket but Wrong is wrong and right is right and I just want everyone to be aware. read more

Luxury Kare is amazing!!! The care is excellent , the food is excellent the staff is excellent! It was clean and everyone there was so nice. My stay was very comfortable and I'm glad I chose to stay here. It also came with everything you needed after surgery so I definitely overpacked . But I 10/10 recommend this recovery house after surgery . You will not be disappointed!! read more

I called in and it seemed very suspicious. I was told I need to deposit all the money 3 weeks before on top of the deposit. After I asked where do I send the money to she wouldn't tell me where, she said when your ready to send the money ill let you know. The weirdest thing of all is that I asked to be there the day before my surgery. The lady on the phone said no you have to call me the day of the surgery and come after I get my operation. I asked where the location is. She told me that its confidential and I wont know until I arrive. That doesn't make me feel secure as a client. I cant even tell my friends and family where I'm going because the address is top secret until I arrive I will know. Also calling on the day of my surgery doesn't make me feel too comfortable, I guess I'm expected to bring all my luggage to the surgery center, and then hope last minute they pick up to come get to me and bring me to the top secret location. No good. Sounds very suspicious. Ill go somewhere else. read more

I stayed here for 6 days in November. I was skeptical at first because it was my first time staying at a recovery house but it was worth it. It was like a home away from home. The staff was very nice. They came made rounds on you, they were helpful, and always had a positive attitude. The house was very clean. They cleaned on each shift and when I leaked body fluids they were sure to come help dress the wound and clean up the mess. You don't have to bring a lot with you because everything you needed was given to you. I didn't have to use anything that I brought with me except for like 3 things. The food is very good as well so you won't be disappointed. Water, Gatorade, and snacks always available too. Transportation is good at getting you to your appointments on time. When I was stuck at pre op all day and the transportation was done for the day. Ronda made sure to get me a ride back to house and made sure I safely arrived. read more
