I am doing this in three stages and recently completed Stage 1. My three stages are: Stage 1 is applying paint protection film (PPF). They did a fantastic job with this. They thoroughly washed the car before they started, noted nicks and chips and touched those up for me. Then they applied the film over the front, the mirrors, the door edges and the back below the hatch. They sent me photos throughout the installation process and kept me informed. I picked the car up on Friday and they made an appointment for me to come back in two weeks to check on the film. That's caring about doing the job correctly. Stage2 will be about applying a ceramic coating Stage 3 wil be to tint the windows to stop the effects of UV rays and infrared. Everyone at the shop was professional and easy to deal with. Mechanically, it was in great shape, but cosmetically it had years of built up grime from a family with young kids. The leather was dirty, there were fingerprints and stains everywhere, hard water spots on the glass, and dirt in every crack and crevice. Honestly, I wasn't even sure it could be restored, and I seriously questioned whether buying the vehicle had been the right decision. A friend of mine who owns a fleet of vehicles recommended Jonathan and his wife, who work together as an incredible husband and wife team. Based on that recommendation, I booked their complete deep detail package. They showed up on a Saturday morning, got right to work, and spent nearly five hours transforming my Volvo. The results absolutely blew me away. The vehicle honestly looks as good as, if not better than, the day it rolled off the showroom floor. They steamed the carpets and headliner, cleaned every crack and crevice, detailed the engine bay, polished the paint and glass, conditioned the leather, and ceramic coated the seats for added protection. But do to my car being a midsize vehicle (Tesla Model Y), there was a $10 charge. And then there is a $3 fee for credit card charges. In my opinion, it's a pretty good deal. They do a good job. And they work all day. They deserve what they charge. If you're looking for TOP notch detailing, they may provide other services for a deeper clean. But this would be ideal for a once or twice a month service, because drive through car washes don't do much in my opinion. Plus, hand drying it and vacuuming on my own, isn't really worth the time and effort. Especially in comparison to a nice "self service" car wash. Most of them charge between $10-$20 dollars anyway. I might as well pay other people to do it. They work hard. Do a good job. They're pretty honest about their pricing.
