I purchase car wash coupons years ago, misplaced them for about a year, found them, and learned recently that Freddy's car washes across the city went through a "buy out" and now are reduced to only two locations! No refunds for the coupon books so now I have to travel 15 minutes to the nearest location. Upon arrival there are three drive up lanes. An employee greets and all options are discussed if interested. I just wanted the basic wash I purchased. I handed over the coupon, the employee placed the wash detail ticket on the dashboard of my vehicle. The staff were courteous and I was given two choices: I can remain in my vehicle and go through the car wash, or an employee would take my vehicle through while I waited in the lobby. I was prepared to take it through myself as that's how it worked at previous locations back when I purchased the coupon books. An employee provided hand signals to help me get the wheel of my vehicle lined up into the wheel guide, I followed posted directions, and then the employees and automated car wash takes over. The car wash is a typical automated tunnel process. This is a traditional car wash with thick felt looking brushes; not touchless. Once ejected at the end of the wash, I drove over and parked next to the tents and an employee wiped off my vehicle then I was on my way. Once I got to my next destination I inspected my vehicle. The wash was okay, but I noticed that the back of my vehicle still showed visible streak marks as if the rinse cycle and brushes were not thorough enough to remove all of the residual soap and dirt. The back of my vehicle is rather boxy and vertical so maybe the vehicle design is not conducive to the car wash parameters. The coupon was only for a basic car wash. I did not pay for any extra services. That in mind, after going through the car wash the tire rims were still grimy dirty. The basic car wash did not do much for the tire rims of my vehicle. I cleaned them myself later. I will continue to use my coupons. Next time I'll inquire as to how much extra it would be for cleaning of the tire rims and also checking cleanliness of the back of the vehicle to ensure a thorough cleaning. I think it reasonable that the back of the vehicle should be thoroughly cleaned by hand if the automated car wash can't reach it (no extra charge I presume). I just didn't check before I left. Why did all the fabulous Freddy's car washes close?! It's no mystery if you take a risk and go get a wash at what I can only guess is their last operating location. Last night, I went to get a best wash which includes interior. I get my car back and they haven't touched the seats or the cup holder. Interior glass has not been touched. Floor mats are filthy. Dead bugs are still lying on my front bumper. Did this thing even go through the wash?! I kindly point out many many dirty spots on my seats and in my center console and other areas. After nearly 10 minutes, my car is still a mess. Frustrated, I leave. I don't have time to go back, so I call. Gentleman named Al answers and reassures me that if I came back the next day they'll fix it. I go back today. I'm waiting over 10 minutes until an employee finally sees me waiting. I'm the only one there. I explain what happened. Johnny gives me a bunch of excuses that they do not do the seats thoroughly (wtf? You're admitting that out loud?) At this point, I'm so frustrated I go inside to get my money back. Katelyn, manager, is unapologetic and rude. Kirk, who was working last night, came out to inspect my car. He tells me washing the floor mats vs. taking them out are two different services. How does one even wash the floor mats without taking them out? Katelyn ultimately only offers me 50% off. I'm so frustrated by this entire experience, I just want a full refund. Now I have to call corporate. Leave a voicemail for the CFO, Jeff Warnick, and Fred Smith. It was a Saturday a few weeks back, I pulled in at 4:38pm, 4:43pm is the time stamp on my receipt when I paid, I depart and pull away at 5:38pm. Exactly one hour to wash a car. $35 for my car wash. They should advertise, "$35 and one hour of your time." I would just be good to understand the time commitment. No cars really are here when I pull in, maybe 4 between the drop off in the back and the dry off area in the front, so I would have thought it would have been different. Severely understaffed. Guys doing the work and working hard, but today there is really only two guys on staff. The intake guy where you drop your car jumps in to help out front too when he can. When I pull away, my car looks great, but it also looks great from the drive thru wash near my house for $15 and about 15 minutes of my time. Inside though there are steaks all over my windshield and my dash is the same amount of dusty as when I pulled in an hour prior. So now I have to go home and spend 15 minutes detailing myself what I thought I paid for and waited an hour for. An hour....I still can't get over that....this kind of place and time commitment is reserved for retirees who have all sorts of time. What is the wait time when they are busy I wonder? The girl at the register when I paid was perky, friendly and efficient. Ike's sandwich shop is easy to make you a sandwich, if you are hungry. There are lots of tables to sit, slots and convenience store items available. I have a coupon book that was given to me and thus why I am even at this Fabulous Freddy's to begin with. But after I use all these coupons up, I will go to Haddies instead, vacuum and clean the inside myself and save myself 40 minutes and the frustration of watching this painstakingly slow sloth like experience I am witnessing here at Fabulous Freddie's. read more

I bought a $100 gift card and after not being told a thing about the card, I find out that the balance on it said $0.00....so I look on the back of the card, and it says that I need to register the card at fanfred.com, BUT when you go to the site, I can't find ANYWHERE instructions, or a link, or anything to register the card....what I giant waste of time!! ...of course the toll free number doesn't work after a certain time either. I've been using Fabulous Freddy's at various locations for at least 10 years. My favorite location closed down a while ago and I've been using the Durango/Rochelle location for sometime now. The employees are supper nice, they do an excellent job of cleaning and detailing with my VIP washes, but they are S-L-O-W!! The problem is that the business is not prepared for a busy day when several vehicles come in (such as Saturday mornings), and there are not enough employees to wipe down the cars. Sometimes, my SUV sits there for 30 minutes before one of the workers can get to it. Not the experience I'd learned of the Fabulous Freddy experience in the past at Summerlin in Trailwood. I went to this one as the Trailwood has been turned into a Terrible's. Chuckle - maybe terrible is better than I experienced here. Neither the far back (SUV) nor center counsel wasn't cleaned nor the inside windshield. And the wax job I ordered ended up looking like some kid didn't know you can't use an old crusty buffer pad. I didn't notice til I got home -- some distance away. At the old Fabulous on Trailwood, the staff would carry spot wax and cloth while walking you around your car, and not leave your side until you claimed it was "fabulous". I wish I would've read the reviews before going. Overall I had a great experience. From customer service to the hospitality. However the quality of the car wash wasn't as great. Maybe I expected more, though I'm not sure. My windshield was half-a$$ cleaned; it wasn't until I pulled into the sun to notice. There are still some areas of the car where it look like it didn't even get washed or wiped down completely. I spent some extra time cleaning and due to having to do the extras, I didn't snap a pic. I was excited to bring my partners car here due to the convenience of it being close to home; I'd much rather take the commute for quality. I'd say if you want something quick, this is a good place. Though if you want consistent quality within your car wash and/or detail, I'd suggest elsewhere. I visited this FF location on a Sunday afternoon in March. To my surprise, there was only one other car being washed as I pulled up to the podium where you decide what wash you want. I waited there for about 5 min before anyone showed up to assist me. Once the attendant showed up I told him I wanted the HAND wash, inside and out. I left my vehicle there and took my paperwork inside to pay. This wash choice is priced at $70.00. I paid for my wash and walked outside to have a seat and wait for what I thought would and should take at least 30 minutes for my wash to be done. To my surprise, my vehicle came around the corner about a minute after I sat down to wait for it up front. Is it me or does it seem like 5 minutes to hand wash a sedan inside and out is a bit short ? Again, this particular wash is priced at $70 bucks! For a HAND wash that took 5 minutes max, including the vacuuming of the vehicle? Come on Fabulous Freddy's, that is just flat out deception and dishonesty plain and simple! My guess is that they just ran the vehicle through the mechanical car wash after they vacuumed it. And didn't think I would realize that there is NO way that they gave me the hand car wash of the exterior and interior that I paid for. The majority of the time my vehicle was just sitting under the tent where the workers dry off and finish the vehicles wheels and remaining water spots. Wouldn't you think that on a hand wash, the vehicle would come around the corner already dry ? The bottom line is that I paid $70.00 for the same car wash that runs 25 or 30 bucks. I was ripped off, flat out! The more I think about this, the more annoying it is to me. Trust is the most important, basic and easy thing to provide your customers with. This used to be my favorite car wash. However, today was really bad. After no cars were coming through the car wash for over 10 minutes (there were cars there ahead of me), three came out to no one. There were two gentlemen working on one SUV while our vehicles dried in the sun, some partially shaded. After my truck sat in the sun for 30 minutes and dried, I went in and asked for a refund and left. My bumper, mirrors, windows have dirt and water spots all over them. The grill is filthy. Staff was friendly, but they didn't know how to use a Hand Wash punch card, so that added about 15 mins to my experience. This initial wash was very quick, but my car sat in the sun for nearly 25 mins while the only two detailers on duty were busy with four other cars. The detailing of my car took about 10 mins, and while they were very nice and corrected a few areas I could see where there were water spots, I didn't realize how bad the job had been done until I got home. I ended up having to personally rewash my car as the entire body was covered in hard water spots. The inside hadn't been dusted, there were finger prints all over the dash, and the wheels were still quite dirty with tire shine all over the rims. I used to have great service at the Trailwood location, but since it was converted to a Terrible's, I thought I'd give this location a try. I spent more time trying to correct the issues than if I had initially washed it myself. I hope this is a one-off, short-staffed experience. I'm willing to try it again, but if I experience the same level of service, I won't be back. Leaving hard water spots on the car would cause expensive damage, had I not cleaned it right away. read more

Don't waste your time! I went there today and paid for their highest price wash the guy showed me on his paper upon arrival $45. I gave him the ticket writer $10 tip and then the wipe down guy at the end another $20. So total I paid $75 and the wash was terrible. I had to come home and go over it again myself. The windshield had hand prints from resting their hands while wiping the exterior, and the wheels looked like they didn't even touch them(see pictures below, the dirty one is how they gave me my car back the clean one is after I came home and wiped it down). First experience at this location and although the staff was very attentive, my service was mid-fabulous after my original estimated time for service was 2 hours. Shortly after, the detailer came back to me and said it would actually take 4 hours and urged me to come back the next day. The manager stepped in and made things right and reassured me that the job would be done by 2 hours. She gave me two coupons for the inconvenience and the job was done in 2 hours. We definitely make friends with some of the people at the places we frequent. We will definitely have to try this place out, especially since our last visit to Jon Smith Subs was not as good. After 45 minutes and I was wondering where's my car. Check to see if they're almost done. Not where they dry the car. Walk back to where I gave it to them and the guy was just walking to it to start doing the inside. There were only 2 cars in front of my mind and they're already working on them when I pulled up. Maybe another 30 min or more they were done. Got in my car and I need Ed to wipe down more spits the neglected to clean. I paid for the best exterior wash and it was done terrible. The wheels weren't wiped down more than what the machine does in a drive through, there was water spots on the windows and the vehicle. The manager told me they are having difficulties with employees showing up for work, totally get it a lot of this generation are entitled and the struggle of all that. The wait didn't bother me, it was the work done. I don't believe they even use soft water/spot free. I understand why they are going out of business!! I purchased the book of car wash coupons for VIP exterior and came to use the coupon yesterday (10/30/2025) and was told the tunnel was out of order and it was hand wash only. I decided to come back today (10/31/2025) for sake of time. My car went through the tunnel quickly, because I insisted on staying in my car for that part. After I pulled under the canopy to be toweled off. I went inside to give the cashier my coupon and then sat outside waiting. 20 minutes goes by and no one has touched my car. I simply got back in and pulled over to the gas pumps and wiped it off myself. This used to be THE car wash in town and now it's a joke. The kids you hire clearly could not careless and it has been this way for YEARS now at all of your locations not just this one. The consistency here is not good. I come in a lot - sometimes 4 or even 6 cars in one day. I spend about $1000 / month on washes and details and occasionally gas. First let me call out the good. Michael and Will ALWAYS do an absolutely stunning job on my cars - frankly enough reason alone to come here for detail work. Ask for one of them if you get your car detailed. While not quite at the same level Joanna has done a lot of work on my cars and I have always been completely satisfied with her work. Everyone is VERY friendly without exception- more than I can say about the ft apache location which has been horrendous. That goes a very long way with me even when sometimes things don't go well with quality of the work. I always get the #1 "best wash". Sometimes they do a great job. Usually it's acceptable. Lately I have had some quality issues. I spoke with Chase (I think he's the manager) about it and I noticed a drastic improvement in consistency yet still have times where the quality is not so great. I would say you need a straight up overhaul of improvement! When I first rolled up, young gentlemen, came to me, sold me on a 30 dollar package. I told him I just did a move and needed the back of my vehicle vacuumed out well with the package I got they gave me tires shine told them I liked it to be wiped off after they apply it. Let's just say there's a portion. I don't even think they vacuumed them to wipe off a bunch of drip on the car as well as the tire shine! In the cashier inside, definitely needs to work on his people skills. Will not be going back and I recommend anybody that sees us keeps on driving. read more
