I went with the Executive Full Service Wash and was a little surprised that customers drive their own vehicles through the wash, while the staff handles the drying and interior vacuuming afterward. The check-in process was ok, the employee who checked me in and the cashier weren't particularly personable. The real standouts were the gentleman and lady who dried and vacuumed my truck. They were thorough, hardworking, and paid attention to the details. Their effort really showed in the final result. Last week, I took my car to Sparkles Car Wash on Grand Canyon and Tropicana I already knew things weren't the same since the managers and owners changed -- the quality of service has noticeably declined -- but I decided to give them another chance and even went for "the works." Inside my car, I had my son's wallet and a large collection of quarters he keeps specifically to give to homeless individuals. Before getting out, I literally reminded myself to grab the wallet, as I always do, but in the rush of the moment, I forgot. That part is on me. My detailer was an older Hispanic woman. She finished my car and immediately rushed to another one without notifying me it was done. After waiting, I finally went out to ask what was taking so long, tipped her, and left. That's when I remembered the wallet -- and it was gone. I called the establishment right away and asked for a manager. I calmly explained the situation and asked if they could please speak with the detailer to see if she noticed a wallet and, if so, to return at least my son's ID. We already froze the cards, and honestly, if someone took the cash, they must have needed it. All we want back is the identification. Instead of helping, the manager dismissed me, insisted the employee "would never do that," and acted as if my concern wasn't valid. She was rude, unprofessional, and completely disregarded what I was telling her. Moments later, the phone line was unplugged and started transferring to a fax tone. She also gave me a fake corporate number that doesn't exist. I'm sharing this because it's unacceptable, and I want to know if anyone else has experienced something similar at this location. Located between Southwest Las Vegas and Summerlin. Finally found a car wash that offers 100% HANDWASH service, which is accessed through the back driveway where you enter a 1 car garage. That option is a little pricey but they do a great job, almost like a detail. They also have the typical machine option too but for a deeper more thorough wash, I suggest the hand wash at least every other time. Obviously, they are experiencing financial difficulties as they have removed all food from inside and the car wash itself needs to be repaired and upgraded. During my car wash the top roller that cleans the entire top, front, and back would not lower and clean. Awful experience for multiple reasons. Had them detail my Mazda Cx9 a couple days ago and they put all my floor mats in my trunk soaking wet and so now my entire car smells like mold. Then I realized I was missing my dog leash so I called them and asked if they took it out.. they were able to find it and I drove down there and got it. Then this morning I realized I was also missing my front window sun shade so I called and a lady picked up and I explained to her that I was missing my sun shade and she rudely said " you have to come talk to our manager about that, bye" and hung up on me. I was very disappointed. My family has said good things about these guys, so I just bought a new (for me) SUV and thought I'd pamper it like my family suggested. Once you get there, you drive thru the wash tunnel, then drive to the other side of the building where you are escorted to park your car for the the person to do the extras..vacuum, clean rims, windows, interior...etc. BTW- I ordered the "Executive" service which is mid- tier service. So the cost was $29.95 (but somehow the bill came to 35-something). Then you go into the lobby and aside from ice-cream bars, there was no food! So I pay for my service and the tip jar is in front of my face..lol...no biggie! Again, I went with the flow since my family were regulars...so I stuck $5 in her tip jar. Then, I'm told my auto is done and follow the detailer to my vehicle. I wanted to take care of my family's favorites, so I tipped him $10......aka "dollar a minute". I jumped into my vehicle and pulled out west on Tropicana and the windshield was so crappy with streaks, I had to pull over and wipe a couple "peep-holes to get me home. So bottom line is I paid about $50.00 and left SPARKLE car wash with my new car in dramatically worse condition than when I brought it in. I guess I'll go back to Fabulous Freddie's. I have pug dogs and their hair is a challenge and they always do a good job of getting all the pug hair off the carpet. I have nothing bad to report. Sorry. When I got there everything was fine. The people seemed nice and I told them what I wanted, the interior detailing, and I paid the fee. They did a decent job. The reason this review is one star is how rude the people were after I got my car. They asked for a $40 tip which i didn't have because I don't have a lot of money. So I've lived on this side of town for years and have been coming to this place for a while. The service is only good if you are prepared to go behind the guy that just did the inside detail and tell them all the spots they missed (obvious spots at that). One time I was there the management there made good on my car and took accountability and promised they would get on their staff for providing bad quality service. 2 days ago (Thursday ), I pay $43 for the spotlight plus tip and again get a lazy worker that is not totally present because they call me over for the car review. My cup holders were not even touched nor were the side doors - obvious places that needed to be cleaned. My floors were not vacuumed totally - the place was about to close so I didn't have the luxury of waiving down a manager considering everyone was closing the door behind them on the building side for employees only. I should not have to waive down a manager every time just to get what should be naturally a given in terms of services rendered . It's just been too many times where this place has lazy workers that do not totally clean the inside of the car and then act like it's too much to ask for the actual car to be cleaned as a whole. Looking at my seats today made me angry because I didn't realize how much the guy actually missed in cleaning my car. And I tipped - so I won't be making the mistake of coming back here again. Bad customer service is one thing - repeatedly lets me know that this is just the vibe of the establishment to charge full price for mediocre work. I'll take my business elsewhere .because every time I give you guys a chance to make it right it's always this insanity. No exaggeration, every time I have come there - when the guys wave me down I've had to point out clear obvious spots that were missed. So I put up with it but this time I've lost my patience and faith in this place. The only time my car was cleaned to the maximum was when the manager himself personally took accountability to clean my car because even they could see how bad my car was not cleaned. You don't charge this steep pricing for the kind of work your staff does. Otherwise just have the manager do the cars independently on his own because he did a better job than any one of them combined. Do not give your business to this company. A car detail place - operative word "DETAIL" should have actual workers that pay attention to actual "DETAIL". Otherwise call it carwash express . Management is nice there , but what good is nice management if the actual employees that represent the company have bad work ethic and when it's explained the job was done bad, because most of the workers only know Spanish - it's not the best experience going to a place like this. You guys make me work too hard to get regular customer service that I paid for . Haven't had a bad experience here yet. I've seen some not so friendly reviews but I come in and get my spotlight wash and that includes them detailing my interior as well. The staff is really friendly and they have a loyalty program as well. I believe it's after every 8 washes you get a free wash. This location is convenient to where I live so no complaints. I got a full detail and my car was cleaner than it was when the dealership pulled it out of the show room, and I bought brand new. Then did an excellent job. Inside and out, it was spotless. It smelled amazing and the body was crazy smooth. As soon as I pulled up I was approached by a manager named Ramman i told him what I was looking for and he personally took care of it. The service is usually great for the detailing part and I've never had to ask for improvement until today. I paid 40$ for the premier and after only 15 min my car was done and it usually takes 30 to 45 min for the spotlight. I handed him a 10$ tip and the receipt before I noticed the driver seat and center console were still filthy dirty... I asked if he wiped it he said yes and I showed him he didn't. The doors weren't wiped either and I told him I paid for the 40$ one and it's all supposed to be clean... the Porsche in front of me was still getting cleaned before and after mine .. so I opened the back seat door and the trunk space and nothing was vacuumed or wiped down inside. I said all this should be cleaned please and I waited in the customer area. They only spent 5 more minutes and it still looked bad. So I just left to clean it myself at home. We have been loyal customers for over 10 years. We have seen owners and employees come and go, but always remained loyal. Last week when we left we noticed the windows were streaked and looked as though they had used a filthy towel. Today though was the last straw.. One of the automatic wash brushes hooked onto the side mirror of my car and completely spun the mirror around. When I talked to the Manager, she said there was nothing they could do about it, and stated that it happens all the time. She said they were not responsible. I told her I would not be coming back if this is the way they were going to do business. And said "OK". My whole dashboard still have dust on it. I told the guy I paid for exterior and interior why am I not getting inside cleaning? The dust of my dashboard! I have been going to this car wash for a year and a half. I have generally been satisfied with their service and friendliness, but I have observed it going downhill over the last year and a half. Management's attitudes are becoming indifferent and even rude at times. Service is not consistent depending upon who they assign to wipe down your car. I live just behind the Sparkle on Craig road. I have been going there sense it opened. Two things have made me change to washing my vehicles myself. (One) something is always broke down. I end up taking my truck home and finishing the job.(Two). I am a member, but every month I end up having to re-enter my credit card at least three times. I would not recommend Sparkle to anyone. I will say that on the most part the employee's are friendly and try to help but end up trying to cover for the maintenance team that seems to never fix anything permanently. read more

Imagine. 8:00 Saturday morning, driving from our home in California to our get away home in Las Vegas. One of our 3 dogs became vey sick and had the "runs" in the rear of our SUV. Although we had blankets down, it was still pretty bad, with smears on the leather upholstery and even on a window. We did the best we could and I called the Lexus dealer to ask about a detail and leather cleaning. No luck. No luck at the Mercedes dealer either. I drove past Sparkle and said, what the heck. I had to do something, anything. The people were so very nice and understanding. That was important. But even more important was when I picked up my car, there was no trace whatsoever of Max's bowel explosion. The leather was clean, beautiful. And no smell. No smell at all. This might literally be the worst car wash in Vegas! I've had some bad experiences with car washes in Las Vegas but today's might just have to take the cake. I've posted my receipt and pictures to further show what their so called "top of the line" wash gets you. To start, I paid $37.00 for their best wash possible without going into any specialty washes. What they claim is included in this price is a hand wax and removal of all extra impurities that weren't removed from the drive thru wash. As you can see in my pictures, your money is better spent on lottery tickets and fireworks. The guy in charge of cleaning my car called me over for final inspection where he began to tell me the immense amount of dirt and crap still on my car were scratches and that he couldn't get them out. Which is completely false, even to the naked eye you can tell they're not scratches and just bugs and dirt from the road. I took the towel from the cleaner and began cleaning my own front end of the car to show him that they could be removed, it just takes a little effort. His response was, and I quote "Wow, you're a lot stronger than me I guess." No sir, I'm just not a lazy piece of crap. I watched him continue to rub my cars front end for 2 more minutes as though he was caressing a sleeping infant and to my surprise the dirt was still on there...shocking! Furthermore, I open my backseat and there is still liquid all over my seat that hadn't even been rubbed in or cleaned. My trunk wasn't vacuumed at all. When I brought that to his attention he responds with, "oh did you want me to do that too?" Ummm ya I just paid $37 for a car wash the least you can do is run the vacuum over the trunk that had nothing in it at all. The good news is that they left a rag in my windshield wiper as a souvenir I guess. Here's the craziest thing to, they actually offer a full detail service for your car for $250 on their menu!!! If you are stupid enough to pay these lazy guys to detail your car that amount of money after I showed you the type of work ethic they have, then you deserve your crappy outcome. Customer service was great, with the exception of the worker cleaning my car (she came off as rude but I believe there was a language barrier). If possible, I would give a "zero star" to Sparkle Car Wash at 9780 W.Tropicana. A friend recommended me this car wash, but late he told me that since he had moved to another side of town he stopped coming here a long time ago. This must be the WORST car wash in town!! Yesterday, I took my car to be washed (hand washed). I left the place with a car that certainly needs to be clean again after paying $45.00 dollars plus tip! I will never go back to this place again and will make sure that any coworker will never have to waste their money there. Outside the car remains pretty dirty. Inside, the mark of a cup placed in the cup holder was still there. Horrible vacuuming. The quality of this wash was not worth the $45 dollars and would hope that the management of this establishment will take a look into the quality of their attendants. Well... despite seeing the reviews, I wanted to give this local business a chance. Come to find out... I should have just picked somewhere else. The aftercare wipe down was spotty, soap was still on the grill, and interior seem to have just been quickly wiped down. I paid for the top of the line ($40.00) and it was completed in 15 minutes. At first I thought ", WOW, they work so fast!" But really they just work fast to get you out. Told cashier and he said it could be redone, which is nice but replied I just wanted to bring it up. He asked if he wanted it to be brought to the attention of the manager so they could yell at the person who didn't do a good job and that wasn't in my wheelhouse. I just wiped my car down myself. I love this car wash! I've been coming here for awhile and I must say they are very impressive. The guy at the booth who initially takes your selection of what wash you want is always so kind and has a smile on his face. I always get the $22 wash that includes everything and a scent, I always choose black ice of course! It's a car wash where you stay in the car while it gets washed and you drive around the side and they clean the inside and outside and do your wheels and windows and such. I always have a great experience here and have never had any problems, my car always comes out clean and they have you walk it to make sure it's up to par and nothing is missed. This is a terrible company and terrible management. Pulled up to the carwash and asked if my car would work in the machine. The attendant said he'd check and signaled for me to move forward. I heard my bumper hit as soon as he asked me to move forward. I stopped and he says, oh I was looking at the wheels and not the bumper. I got out of my car to see he has gotten me completely stuck on the machine. I asked to speak with a manager. 2 managers come out - Beth and Brian. Brian jumps in my car and reverses it while Beth cut away at something only to cause more damage to my bumper. Once out, I pointed out the damaged spots to the managers. Both managers tried arguing with me that it's my fault that the car isn't OEM....except it is 100% stock. Also, Brian flat out called me a liar and told me the damage was there before. That is insane. Who in their right mind would damage my Cadillac just to receive what..... a free carwash that i didn't even receive??? Beth brought me into the office and wrote up a statement and said I'd receive a call from the owners (I assumed as an apology). Neither did I receive a call from the owners or a follow up from anyone. I called today to find out what's what and I was told my claim was denied. I didn't even make a claim.
