This place was crazy packed (I went on a Friday night so that's probably one of the reasons why). Most of the people there seemed to be regulars and already had preferences in who did their nails. Usually when I go to a nail salon everyone does nails, but I guess they get pretty busy here that they actually have a "front desk" person lol. He also walks around Offering beverages. Tony did my pedicure and Tu(?) did my shellacs. They're both very welcoming and easy to talk to. for the most the prices are fair tons of policies , gels and powders I love the fact they have it around the salon where the client can actually look for their color. When my best friend I walked in we were immediately greeted we waited approximately five minutes then we were taken care of I got a polish change. I have been coming here for about a year now and the service is good. However sometimes I feel that the greeter can be a little too aggressive for my test. The nail technician as well but I understand that they are just upselling products. Today I was going for a natural look for my nails since color isn't really allowed at my job. The nail technician and I already had a decent understanding on what color I am getting. As i walk over to get my nails done the greeter ask what color I was getting and what number it is (trying to get me to get the shellac polish instead of regular polish). I showed him and he was talking loud saying I needed something darker. I actually had to raise my voice ,after telling him two times, that I needed a natural color for my profession. The guy is very nice and caring but I feel that if you are not the nail technician then it really shouldn't matter what color a person picks or if it's to your liking or not. Horrible salon. It took TWO hours for a pedi and a REFILL! When you walk in they immediately put you on a chair for your pedi. That's where they get you. After the pedi which they also did a horrible job and after pointing out their mistake she kept saying it's ok it's ok a which made me think she was going to fix it ans nope. She did not. But whatever. Let that slide. Then I waited 45 minutes after to get my refill. People kept coming in and they were putting them on chairs which has the workers busy on them. We came and got pedicures the other day and did not paint so we could come back a couple days later to have painted. First the pedicures sucked! The techs are nonstop trying to sell/push things on you. Totally ruins your time... no time to relax. Now we came back to get painted, picked our colors and got started. Like seriously you want me to believe the polish is meant to be applied a quarter inch thick on your nails?! Finally agrees to repaint of course while pouting an having an attitude. After spending hours trying to find a nail spa while winding down from the stress of finding a home to relocate my family, this little gem became the perfect oasis. On a Mother's Day weekend though busy, I was pampered nearly from head to toe, with a soothing cocktail and ambiance to enhance the experience. The staff took their time and were all friendly and welcoming. They even stayed a bit late to ensure I was complete with a smile. The owner was a gentleman who helped me around as I've recently had a major operation and overall the patrons seemed to love the salon as well. I'd love to say it's only me they treated amazingly but it was everyone and the price point was affordable for the service received. It depends on who does your nails. I never had an issue until today. If you make a mistake and drop the nail dryer on a nail and the customer tells you, never blame the customer by saying they have to line up their hands a certain way. If I made the mistake and polish came off, I would have admitted it. No one is perfect, so it is best to simply correct it and move on. She was rushing too. Business is business. I don't bother arguing with people who I am giving my money to. Once I have a negative experience like that, I move on. There are too many nail salons in Houston, so remember....competition means you cannot treat customers any kind of way. You loose repeat business like that smh read more
