Lotus Nail & Day Spa This is a completely honest review, so please read and take it to heart. Disregard all the positive reviews that you may read before you get to mine. My daughter and I walked into this place on yesterday, January 24th, 2025, on a whim, we had never been here before. We were just looking for a basic pedicure to get our nails back in check, as we are nail biters. When we walked in the door, the enthusiasm from this bunch was ear deafening, I mean, they didn't move, and it was about 6 or 7 people in there. I told them what we wanted, and one person slowly approached the workstations. Was not sure for a moment, if this one person was going to do us both, as no one else in the salon was busy. Shortly thereafter, another person approached, to work on me. They did not provide their price sheet, so I had to ask, and they finally verbally quoted a price for the basic plus a paraffin dip at $23.00, so we both agreed. This basic service also includes an arm and hand massage with a finger and joint stretch, which my daughter's stylist did not provide. Honestly, the lady working on my daughter was just going through the motions, as I remarked, "you guys are really flying". As I later realized, she was short-changing their service. When she finished with my daughter, she emersed her hands in hot paraffin and ignored her resistance to the heat. Never spoke and when she finished, barely wiped her hands with a half damp cloth and from where I was sitting could still see flakes of paraffin, still on her hands. When we got to the check-out register, I voiced my disapproval with the service my daughter had received vs my service. I don't know if the person checking us out was the owner or manager, but my complaints fell on deaf ears, and she proceeded to charge us the full amount of $46.00. I thought about disputing the complete charge through my bank, as she did not offer any reduction in service. What really ticked me off was no one was speaking English; they were discussing the incident amongst themselves and totally ignored my complaints about their service. You can decide for yourself, but we will never go back. And as far as some of the reviews stating all positive reviews for the following: Great Service (no it is not, they are very unprofessional}, pedicure quality (can't speak on this), nail art expertise (cannot speak on this), cleanliness, I can, speak on this! This salon is not clean, we should have turned and walked out the door, as soon as we entered. Apparently, they are only concerned with high dollar services! Do yourself a favor and bypass this place. There are plenty of other salons up and down the beltway. ENTER AT YOUR ON RISK. read more

Both manicure and pedicure are high quality no matter what technician works with you. They would go an extra mile providing a pillow for your back and an individual electric fan so that you're not hot while being serviced. Helpful and friendly, always smiling. My to go place. read more

I like my nails to be neat and not lumpy with the acrylic. My nails were different lengths... and acrylic too thick. Pedicure wasn't the best either. Doesn't look like they shaped the nails.... But the massage was ok. Just have to stick to what you know and honest recommendations on your preferences. They aren't the place for me, but may be for someone else. read more

I visited this nail spa June 26,2024. I have recently moved back to the area after 7 years. I can say the customer service has drastically changed! I came for a nail soak off, eyebrow, lip, and chin wax. The tech made the comment that my "nails were long" which I'm not sure what that had to do with the soak off service. She handled my hand's roughly and slightly cut me. After my nails were soaked off; the tech didn't try to upsell the service by offering a clear coat or a manicure. We then went to do my wax. She quickly ran through my eyebrows which cause me to be hesitant. Then proceeded to slapped an excess amount of wax on my lip. When she got to my chin she proceeded to slap more wax on my chin. She received a phone call and LEFT the wax on my face to go answer the phone. When I was finally able to see everything I asked her to take a little more off of my eyebrows. She snatched the mirror with a slight attitude; plucked more hairs instead of waxing them which made them uneven. I was unsatisfied, but I still wanted to pay for my service. The tech then tried to short me two dollars. The amount was no issue it was the principle of the situation for me especially working in the hospitality industry myself. I will admit I did have a bonnet on my head; however I don't think service should lack due to appearances. I will not be back to this location. read more

It's my first week back in Texas and I all wanted was to get my nails done with good quality service and my money's worth. That's what I for here. Now I give my shape a 4.8 out of 5 on my nails, but overall this shop is amazing. My toes could use some work but nevertheless you have earned a loyal customer. Thanks ladies. read more

So I've been to many nail salons and this is the only one I enjoy getting a pedicure from as well as give them repeated business...they are friendly, smile, and make pleasant conversation. My pedicures only cost $20 and the massage chairs are always working. I've been to other places and they are more expensive, cut me while they're doing my manicure, or give me ingrown toe nails...my nails are always neat,clean, and again for a pedicure it's only $20. They always attend to me,my mother, and my daughter when we come and are prompt and friendly. read more

This was the nail shop I loved until today. I went yesterday to get a full set. First the guy asked me how short, I showed him. Then I said I wanted the coffin shape and he showed me what it looked like and I said no I don't like that. Mary, the owner, over heard the conversation and said she would take care of it and she did a wonderful job. However, while we were talking I explained to her I had never had the coffin shape and she insisted they have to be long. I took her advice. Went to do my daily routine and I couldn't work with them. They were too long for me. I went back, literally still sitting in the parking lot typing this, and asked her to cut shorter. I even screenshot pics of what I wanted. She tells me no she can't do that cuz it is too short, etc. So I was like just do the square round. The look on her face is very upset and wanna get me out. She finished and said ok that's it. I was like??? I paid for the service yesterday and all I asked for was a cut down, that shouldn't be an issue. I showed her my nails and under they are still sharp. She is giving me excuse after excuse as to why and by this time I am done. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. read more

The first time I came here it was okay, but today it seem like the lady was experimenting with my nails. I only came there for a regular full set. They kept asking if I wanted color I told them no. They kept insisting to put extra stuff on my nails and I kept saying no. There is a reason I ask for a regular full set with no color which should have been $23. After the lady messed up my nails her coworker finished them off. He somewhat finished, but added gel on my nails. Once I went to say they charged me extra for gel which I told them not to do!
