Today, after a long weekend at work and feeling absolutely exhausted, I came in and decided to treat myself to the "Royal Pedicure". It was worth it. I think having Sue as my tech made the experience that much better too. She was so attentive and caring to my needs and had great attention to detail. During my pedicure she noticed my water was no longer hot--she removed the water and gave me fresh hot water. I asked for a from massage as she started and I instantly felt the difference. This was truly relaxing and stress relieving. I don't think my legs and feet have ever been this smooth. I can't wait to come back! read more

I used to be a loyal customer, but I'm never coming back to this spa. Their hygiene is terrible--they use unsanitary tools, which is a huge infection risk! I went there a few days ago, and Jason did my daughter's pedicure. Right away, it felt uncomfortable--he kept calling my 15-year-old "honey" and "baby," which was really inappropriate. On top of that, he rushed through everything like he just wanted to get it over with. We paid over $80 for a pedicure that lasted only 15 minutes--what a joke. To make things worse, he cut her toenail too deep, and she was in pain for days. She could barely sleep, and now we might have to see a doctor. We were so disappointed that we didn't even bother calling--we'll just deal with it ourselves. If you're thinking about coming here, don't. If I could give a lower rating, I would. Earlier this year, I had a gel manicure and regular pedicure. The gel manicure came off in sheets after 6 days. The guy that did my nails was extremely rushed and all over the place. I called and they insisted I had oily nail beds. It turns out, they never used the bonding agent needed to keep the gel on my nail. They redid my nails for free, and those lasted a month with zero problem. I went back two weeks ago to get my nails done, same service. Again, the gel came off in sheets after six or seven days. The nail tech I had was moving extremely quickly, although she was nice. The manager, Laura, blamed oily nail beds or that they only guarantee for three days or I called too late. My nails came off while on vacation, and I called upon my return home. they had me down in their books, and I had photos with dates to show evidence. We were at theme parks and my hands were not sitting in anything that would have soaked them off. Laura argued with me on the phone and finally agreed to do my nails for half price. I'm not one to leave poor reviews but this needs to be brought to someone's attention. A friend and I had come in today for manicures as our first time to go do something for ourselves, what should be a joyous occasion. I had a gentleman nail tech who did not speak to me the entire time, making me very uncomfortable. He never asked what exactly I wanted done, just asked the color I wanted. I had pictures for reference and stated a specific color and didn't even get the color I asked for. I was on a time crunch as I was on my lunch break for work. Spent the whole hour to come out unhappy and unsatisfied with the service. Never informed there would be a charge for using card so was shocked to see my total was $45. I called to speak to a manager with no callback at all. A simple "they're too busy to come to the phone right now and they'll call you back". Do NOT waste your money on going here. If I could get ahold of someone, I'd love a refund. If I just wanted my nails painted and the silence treatment where no one listens to me, I would've stayed home. read more

I'm in town for work and needed my nails, toes, & eyebrows done & thought I'd come here yesterday since it is near my hotel. Worst decision I've made so far in 2021. The older woman doing my service was asking very personal questions that I will not go into detail about. She also did not do my toes as I specified when I asked for gel I did not receive it, she barely removed the excess paint around the nail and couldn't see the mistakes when I asked her to fix them. My nails are fine, no complaints there. My eyebrows are another story. The wax she used BURNT the skin under both my eyebrows. I noticed it was a little warm but didn't think anything of it because she pulled it off super fast each time. Yesterday immediately after getting them done I felt that they were tender but just thought since I haven't had them waxed in a long time it was normal. But today I see that it was not normal & the hot wax has burnt my skin. I do not like that they have 1 person doing you're entire service because I asked for someone more skilled at the service and ended up like this. Well I've been here twice in the last month the first time I met a friend from work there for manicures and then we went back the next week and had pedicures. It's in a strip mall it's bigger inside than it looks they have a lot of stations. Staff were wearing masks due to the corona but they didn't force you to wear a mask if you didn't want to. As with all nail places they try to upsell to the powder of the gel nails. I was satisfied. With a pedicure they have the chairs that give you the massage and we paid extra for the wax dipping on your hand and your feet. It was nice to be pampered and to be out again. read more

I didn't want to leave one star. I have come to this place often. I was reluctant to come back. I should have listened to my gut. Awful!!!! Rushed through the whole experience. I came in for a mani/pedi. While getting my pedi I had 2 other ladies come by to soak my nails and file the gel polish off. So with that, how was I to relax and enjoy the massage from the chair. Very uncomfortable!!! When it came time to do my nails. She was distracted with other workers coming to talk and stare at my nails. Seriously! Uncomfortable!!! I would never Recommend this place. The nail techs are in too big of a hurry. I went there 3 times and each time most of my nails would come off before the 2 week fill.

Do not go here!!! I got black matte and these pictures are from just 1 hour after! The nail tech was so rude and she rushed through!They charged me $50 and it was just a fill. I came back the next day they "fixed" them and sure enough the next day they started sliding off and breaking again!! Their acrylic is cheap and breaks and the techs rush through and this happens. I have been going to Luxury for years and I will continue to go! I have had the same nail tech (Tiffany, 2nd chair in the front) and she is the best! Yes it gets busy but this place is popular (I recommend calling ahead for an appointment if possible). The atmosphere is very nail spa-esque. They have refreshments, plenty of nail/gel polishes to choose from as well as dip powders. I highly recommend. read more

Just no. I don't know what it is but the quality of salons in Dayton is overall poor. My friend and I were scheduled for a pedicure. We didn't have to wait long which is why I gave two stars. The place is not clean, there were hairs and specs of dirt on the pedicure chair bowl when we sat down. I didn't see them wipe the chair off before I sat or after I got up. Speaking of the chairs, they aren't comfortable. While I was getting my pedicure, my nail tech, Jessie, was removing some of the gel with a nail file (I am not sure why she didn't use the drill) and it was literally scraping my skin on the side of my toes. I tried to inform her twice but she was busy talking to the tech that was doing my friends pedicure. Finally, I had to say "Jessie, you're hurting me". On top of all of this, they charge $60 for gel pedicure when most people charge $50. I would be willing to pay that much again if service was above and beyond. I would not return to this place again. While in Dayton for training I went here. It is very crowded! I heard they were expensive but it was close to our hotel. Three of us went here and two of us hand issues. My colleague's French manicure on her natural nails didn't make it through till Wednesday. We went on Saturday. My nails started chipping on Thursday. My training and day-to-day activities do not include anything so strenuous as to break these nails. I am very disappointed. I will go to my regular nail salon in North Carolina to have these fixed. They turned out too thick, too round, the paint job was messy, the nails were crooked, and the lady cut my cuticles too short and made almost all of my fingers bleed. It cost $80. Went back today (I had the receipt) to get them fixed. They told me it would be $15, so I agreed, and they charged me an additional $35 to fix them. So, all in all, I paid over $100 to get my nails painted white and I don't even have acrylics anymore. read more

the place was clean and pretty inside and i got acrylics done. half of them are crooked and the design (a spiral on one nail each hand) was so wonky and uneven. they look like 3 weeks of grown out nails after a few days. i'm extremely disappointed. i am so glad i used a gift card because i would HATE if i spent my hard earned money on the set i got. i will never go back. also the lady hiked up my price from 55 to 65 for literally two spirals. don't go here. it's embarrassing to walk around with these on because of how bad they look and i will be going to a different salon to have them removed and redone. read more

I got a royal pedicure and a full set of nails with art work. Everything is super rushed. I get these services at high prices to relax. The massage itself wasn't even a minute long. They soak your feet for maybe 5 minutes. It wasn't worth the $65. My nails were super thick with a huge ledge toward the cuticles. Again, super rushed and the guy was so rude. He spoke English. I spent $175 and I re filed my nails and re painted them. My feet look and feel the same. Nothing noticeable or remarkable about my experience except the price and very poor service. I definitely will not return. The world is so fast paced with uncaring people and this place fits in perfectly. read more

I was visiting the area and had time to get my nails done. The salon was clean and organized. I requested a manicure with gel polish. The manicure definitely left a lot to be desired. There was really no manicure. Then I got polish in my nails that was not done well at all. The color was not consistent across the nail. The gel polish did not even last a week which should not happen, but it was peeling and chipping within the first couple of days. And because there was not a base coat used, the cranberry color I chose left my nails stained. Overall, not a great experience. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! This place is a complete joke. I went there today to get a soak off and a manicure. I had a beautiful, but grown out, set of pink and white solar acrylics on that were done at my nail salon back home, and I had been getting them balanced (filled) for several months now. It was time to let my natural nails breathe for a bit, so I decided to stop there to get them off and have my natural nails manicured. This wasn't my first time getting acrylics soaked off and my natural nails manicured afterwards, so I knew what they should look like when they were done. While I was soaking, this lovely lady came in and sat beside me. As most of us do at the nail salon, we got to chatting. She asked them for a French but was concerned that her natural smile line would show through because the last time she got them done she got a full set and they used a white tip to do the French look. I explained to her that they have the white acrylic powder there and that they should be able to do a pink and white where they do a fill in, the use this metal tool to cut the freshly place acrylic then back fill with the white acrylic, and she said that sounds like exactly what she's looking for. I asked the lady doing her nails if she had that tool and could use the white acrylic to do the French look for her and she said yes. Then, while I continued to soak the entire time, the lady chose to completely disregard what her customer wanted and chose to do a regular fill, then sloppily paint a white edge and clean it up with a brush dipped in acetone. I felt so bad for this lady once the girl doing her nails finished up. They looked ok, not good, and in a few days they're gonna be chipped to hell. This lady is an event planner. She uses her hands a lot. This nail tech completely took advantage of the fact that her customer knew what she wanted, but didn't know how to ask for it. Besides that, my nails after soaking, removing the acrylic, and getting a manicure look like I ripped off my acrylics then had a child slap on a dingy layer of clear coat. Beware that if you know what you want, but don't know exactly how you want it done, then these people will take full advantage of you, rush you through, and try to make the biggest buck off you they can. It's disgusting that places like this one even exist. All about the quick buck. read more

Nice-looking place and the nail tech, Teresa, was very friendly, but she didn't seem to know how to do nails correctly. I got a no-chip gel polish, and the application was AWFUL. She got a lot of gel on my fingertips, (a fact I didn't realize until I was closely examining my fingers while waiting for a brow wax..see pics). I showed them to the waxing tech and she spoke to the Teresa, who then attempted to remove the excess from my fingers (with a file), but it's a soak-off gel and it's completely hardened and nearly impossible to get off at this point. (This is the actual reason it wouldn't come off, though she told me, at least twice, that it was due to my "dry skin".) She was reluctant to acknowledge that gel nail polish doesn't actually belong on my dry skin or anywhere else but on my nail bed but when she finally did, she stated that this only happened because of my "short nails". (Oddly, my short nails have never been an issue with any other nail techs I've been to.) I don't live in Ohio, but I visit family there sometimes and I really wanted have a go-to nail place whenever I'm in town. This won't be it. I've been to this nail spa twice now. Got gel on fingers and nails first time and everything went great and the gel lasted forever. Just went the second time.. decided to do acrylics, coffin style with a matte top coat. Everything was going really good until I realized at the end that the matte coat was streaky :( apparently they were running out of the matte top coat and used the very last bottle on me... was wondering why she kept digging into it trying to get stuff out of the bottle rather than simply getting another. To say the least, I had spent over 50 dollars on nails that were streaky. Just wish they would have told me that they didn't have much matte left... I would have been happy to do with glossy. New to the area. Went in for a pedicure. Purchased the luxury pedicure for $47. It was the fastest pedicure I've ever received in my entire life. I've lived all over this country and most pedicure places are similar. You choose based off your preferences (cleanliness, availability, etc). I was hoping to relax but found myself stressed as my nail tech rushed thru trimming my toenail cuticles. Rapidly moving, sharp metal tools are apparently not my thing. The massage portion was about 60 seconds per foot. Officially the worst pedicure I've ever gotten. ‍ If you're going to charge that price, you should deliver a better service. I came in for a regular manicure, and while my tech was nice and the space comfortable, I was very disappointed when my manicure was destroyed less than 30 minutes after leaving the salon. I would have kept blaming myself for not being careful enough with my nails, but I realized more than an hour later that my polish was still tacky and susceptible to indentations.
