WOW!! What a horrendous experience. From start to finish! I could write an entire essay but will simplify for reader's interest: PLEASE READ ALL THE REVIEWS...THEY ARE TELLING! I made an appt the day prior explaining the two different client services that were required in detail (one was a design and in accordance with the website you needed to schedule with a design specialist (Jennifer, Danny or Leo) for "Insane Artistic Skills"). Here is the low down! 1. Timely arrival. Not on the schedule. Multiple appts set simultaneously. Overbooked and typical of places where the $ embodies the business. 2. Not welcoming at all. No smile, merely robotic and commanding. 3. When you arrive with a friend you intend to engage during your services. Not at LUXURY SPA. They only cater to their own timeframes. They separate you immediately. One pedicure the other manicure. (saw a couple and a mother/daughter pair separated while there as well. The husband even made a comment to his wife) 4. No artistic ability AT ALL!! Showed the "insanely artistic" Jennifer my design (was a simple autumn leaf on one finger and water droplets on another not exotic, detailed or complex!). She loudly exclaimed I can't do that...when I asked why she said "I don't have the right polish for that, I can't draw that "3D" leaf....WTF is she talking about. The women speaks out of the side of her mouth. INSANE, YES...ARTISTIC, NO!! 5. She amazingly dotted clear polish on 2 fingers to create the droplets (good job in 2 seconds flat!!) Then attempted to draw the autumn leaf...first attempt looked like a pot leaf which I verbalized (and low and behold, I believe Jennifer actually cracked a smile....but don't hold me to it) She then redid that and made some white leaves with gold veins. I even asked for yellow which she dismissed without comment. That was it...I just wanted to get out of there. 5. They nickel and dime you without any prior acceptance. I wanted a less abrasive scrub for my pedicure (not to mention I didn't want my foot scrubbed with previous client's residue......cha ching! They also never cleaned the foot bath out before and after each client....ewwww). 6. My friend checked out first. I jokingly had to text her to see what was taking so long and if she had to take a loan out as the previous client's costs were loudly announced from $120-$250. While money is not the issue, performance and attitude is. Her bill was $113. She came back to me and grabbed a menu to see if she could figure out her bill details. Her fingers and toes resembled hooves. She didn't think it was nearly as funny. 7. My bill came to $90. Nothing out of the ordinary for the service I wanted but didn't get. So I wanted to see exactly what the breakdown was. The gentlemen printed me a receipt that said $90. REALLY :-/ I asked for a break down at which time Jennifer came up and verbally detailed the cost. READY: $36 for your pedicure ($30 + $5 for the scrub = $35) $35 for manicure $19 for designs (6 fingers @ $3/finger = $18) $90 total Not only is she not artistic she is also not a math wiz. The bottom $ is all she cares about. Anything else is insignificant and bothersome. Read her responses to other clients complaints. She blames the client. She bullies her unrelated staff (who are amazing, BTW!!!) If you want a rude, uncompromising, dissatisfied experience....this is the place for you!!! read more

I wish I had more thumbs. Terrible customer service. Booked an appointment via the online website. When I got to the store the attendant said they were short staffed and didn't have any openings. They didn't offer to rebook or anything. They said because I had just booked an hour earlier they wouldn't honor the appointment. Why have an online booking service if that is the stance. Terrible , terrible , terrible. I was treated horribly and made to feel like I had done something wrong. This dude could use a master class in customer service. read more

We made a wrong turn and ended up getting our nails done here. It was the best decision we made. I went with my daughter and we both got dip nails for the first time. There was a large selection of colors and we were able to find ones for the occasion. Danny and Leo did an amazing job on both our nails and the service was great! Been coming to this salon for over 6 months now as it was recommended by all of the staff at my job. They have friendly and professional staff. I always feel welcome and accommodated. They are a very good and well known salon in the area so it can get pretty busy. I've seen them turn away walk ins so make an appointment! I usually show them a picture of what I want and they have no problem doing it. Love my nails every time. I would not consider this place a luxury salon and the prices accurately match. I'm happy it's not overpriced like a real luxury salon. Salon is clean and hygienic. I've been recommending this place to many people. Definitely a great place to pamper yourself. read more

Ehhh this place is okay. I was visiting the area and I walked in for a pedicure, decided on the "Luxury Pedicure" for $45 (as opposed to the classic pedicure for $25). I wish I had gone with the classic because the luxury pedicure was definitely was not worth the money. Nothing special. The guy doing it was very inexperienced. He did give me a nice massage though. Salon is very clean and they have me a cool bottle of water to sip while i got my pedicure which was nice. And they have a great selection of polish colors. One of the more experienced women actually came over & touched up my cuticles after and put the polish on instead of the man. The polish job was VERY average and a little messy. This is our go-to place for pedicures. Exceptionally clean, bright, friendly, attentive and respectful. We consistently have great service here. My provider asked throughout the appointment if I was comfortable and if the massage had a comfortable pressure which he could adjust accordingly if needed. I left a cash tip but it was also possible to leave one on the credit card as well. Great value. Highly recommend this spa. Totally worth it to leave Anna Maria Island for this spa. read more

Got a regular pedicure and a gel manicure. Here I am a week later and most of my nails have chipped. Everything was rushed because they were busy and the work suffered because of it. I can only give this shop 2 stars. No Love from First Chair Manicurist: Jennifer which makes the whole experience completely unpleasant. Try to her her to smile one time- impossible! Clarification: I want to give 5 Stars for Quality and Speed for the dip manicure by Jennifer. She is really good at them! Negative 50 stars however, for how she treats her employees and customers- it's like they are beneath her and not worthy of her time. She treats everyone like dog poop! She yells at her employees like they are stupid. She orders her customers around and makes you feel awful for Asking questions. God forbid you drip a drop of polish as you test the color. She will shame you and sigh over and over while she wipes it up. She never smiles, her hand massage is sub par as she stares out the window looking perturbed. I prefer the Cortez location to the Manatee location any day. Now, I won't go to either. The environment is ok, but the Manager/Owner, Jennifer, has no personality. She has no people skills. My aunt had an issue with her gel polish from her pedicure. After only a few days the polish was bubbling up. She protested that it could potentially be just old polish. After 1 week, the polish was chipping. Shellac should not chip after 1 week. Jennifer would not let her select a new color but had staff repaint with the same color that had air bubbles and air pockets. Again after only a few days, the same thing happened. Rather than remedy the situation and retain a new customer, she lost 2 customers and countless others read more

This is the worst nail salon I have ever experienced!!!! I had my nails done for the third time here last week. My first experience was okay but I waited a long time. My second experience was with Leo and he was very rough and not nice at all! My third time was with the owner Jennifer and that was the worst of all and that is why I will never go back, I was very frustrated because Jennifer, the owner was doing my nails and at least 10 times she got up or interrupted doing my nails to deal with other customers. My sister moved to Florida yesterday and we had a big surprise party planned for her. Low and behold she went to get her nails done at Luxury Nails ( she Googled nearby) and it took her three hours because the owner did her nails and constantly got up to take care of other customers. It completely ruined our surprise party because she was so late. I wasn't going to leave a negative review but after what she did to my sister I felt like I needed to do. This Salon is all about the money and jamming people in and making them wait. They need to realize that some people are on a schedule but they just don't care! I will never go here again!! I have been going to this location and supporting a local husband and wife salon. I booked my appointment ahead of time and was quoted $55 design/fill. As my appointment is coming to an end and realize that this looks NOTHING like the picture and it was almost time to start my next shift at my second job I decided i can come tomorrow as it's my day off. Leo used blue on my left hand and green in the other. I asked him why he didn't use blue in the first hand when he did my design he said "your nails are already blue" as he started my second hand he only used green? (Take a look at my pictures below) I also asked Leo if Jennifer could do my eyebrows she did with a little bit of a wait. She tells me I owe $70??? How come it jumped from 57 to 70? I paid $70 and left a $5 tip on top of a bad job and being unsatisfied.I then called and spoke to Leo asking why it came out to $70. He asks Jen and passed the phone to her and she said for sanitation products which I fully understand if they were practicing sanitation guidelines. Then she rudely says I have to get back to work. But he did my acrylic powder in the same jar not even in a separate bowl aside from the acrylic powder. Eyebrows at most give or take should be no more than 10$. So that would make it 67 dollars. In total I paid $75 much more than what I should have paid. The only thing they offered me was to repaint the nails a solid color. In a business it's truly about making your customer happy. I will not recommend this establishment to anyone nor will I be coming back. Its not about the money it's about the quality but I am walking around with nails like my 2 year old did my nails. They advertise high end and elegant this is far from that and the customer service is below a zero. read more

I have been going to Leo and Jennifer since I moved to Bradenton. As a working woman I can only go on weekends, my biggest frustration when I moved to Bradenton was that none of the salons were open on Sunday. I found Leo and Jennifer and have been going ever since. The shop is clean and convenient (important to me). The people are caring and thoughtful. Jennifer gave birth twice since I have been going there and was back at work within a few weeks to ensure her customers were taken care of. I have been getting my nails done for over 20 years and Leo does the best nails (I am picky!) of anyone ever! GREAT place! read more
