I came here as a new client after seeing the beautiful nail designs on their website and social media, and I was really excited to try them out. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. I had an appointment for a gel manicure full set, but started with a deluxe pedicure alongside my husband. The pedicure itself was just okay. My technician didn't offer me any of the scent options that were included (while another technician did for my husband), so I just went along with whatever was chosen. The polish application was also not great--there were noticeable gaps along the sides of my nails. For my manicure, I showed a simple spring squiggle design (which I'll attach in photos) and asked if it could be done. The technician said yes, but it quickly became clear he was not confident or experienced with designs. He didn't fully remove the leftover black polish on my nails before starting, and during the gel process, he repeatedly pulled my hand out of the UV light before it had fully cured, causing my nails to hit the edges multiple times. When he began the design, the lines were streaky and uneven rather than clean and filled in. I politely asked multiple times for him to go back over them, but he didn't seem to understand or agree that anything needed to be fixed. At that point, I felt stuck and didn't want to spend even more time trying to correct things. By the end, I truly hated how my nails turned out. No one asked me how I felt about them until I was paying. Another technician briefly tried to fix the sides, but it didn't make a difference. After nearly two hours, I didn't have time to stay longer. To their credit, the woman at the front (I assume the owner) did not charge me for the design and offered to fix them. She also mentioned that only a few specific technicians (she named a few, including Daniel) specialize in designs. That said, this is exactly the issue--if only certain technicians can execute designs properly, that should be communicated upfront. I would have gladly waited or booked with someone more experienced instead of wasting time and leaving unhappy. Overall, I would not return based on this experience. If you're going for simple services, it may be fine--but if you want nail art or designs, I would strongly recommend making sure you are booked with one of the specific technicians who are actually skilled in that area. read more

Worst and rudest owner who doesn't care about quality work or what her customers want. Way overpriced for the poor quality. Asked for nails to be thin and they were done super thick and horrible. There was a big chunk of something in the paint of one nail and she argued with me saying it wasn't there. Asked for gel x and she said no that acrylic was better. Probably why they are thick as hell and why I wanted gel x in the first place. Never going back and considering disputing the credit card charges. Emplyee that did pedicure was fine but Jimmy who did nails was awful and equally as rude as the owner. Never going back! read more

If I could give it a zero out of 5 stars I would. I'm not sure if they were sloppy because I was a kid or if that's how they do all of their costumers nails. The lady who did my nails alsowas answering the phone and walking away constantly. Even with the bad service I was still optimistic until I saw the end result. The door also read that students got discounted but, I received nothing. These nails that look like they were done at home costed 60 dollars. The last time I went to Luxury Nails I asked for only a polish change. When time to pay they charged me for a manicure ($20). I said I only wanted a polish change and told the owner I was only paying $20 and no tip. Today I went back for a manicure/pedicure and eyebrow wax. After paying for all services and a $15.00 tip. Not a good job when only request is a manicure to clean up and trim nails and cuticles after several days of working outside. The trim and buff was okay, but cuticle clean up not great and would not attempt to 'clean' skin around nails. Not a fan. read more

Would give zero stars after today's experience if I could. Absolutely horrendous and after paying $43 for my acrylic fill and toe polish change, I am fully prepared to go elsewhere and have this mess cleaned up and fixed in a few days. Once my nails grow out a little (the owner cut them so low my cuticles are showing behind my nails). Had an apt for 1130 and they didn't start on me until noon. Continued making me wait asking if I had anything to do today so they didn't feel as bad about continuing to take people in front of me. The owner was unprofessional and sloppy. See pictures attached. My nails are uneven, thick and goopy and I'm honestly just appalled with the entire experience. I have no idea what's going on. They are under staffed and over booked this weekend. STOP MAKING APPOINTMENTS THEN. I will never, ever be back nor would I recommend it. One of the worst pedicures I've had. He spent a lot of time trimming my cuticles which I appreciated but omg he was so rough! I was grimacing and making noises when he was working on my calluses but he just kept on hacking away. Also my shins have bruises because thE massage was so rough. Like work on my calf dude! I have gone here a few times now, it's always hard to find a nail salon you want to stick with. I have been very impressed with the service here though. It is reasonable price and they do a good job. Everything is new and super clean. I seriously have never seen this place be less than spotless. That is SO important when pampering yourself, you want to feel wherever you are at is nice and clean! The staff is very nice and attentive and they are great at what they do! They do whatever they can to make you feel relaxed so you can enjoy your visit. I get pedicures here every so often with a friend on our lunch breaks, and they always listen to our wants and try to match any picture of pedicure we like that we find on Pintrest or online. I have been here many times. Sometimes the result is good, but one manicurist has given me a sloppy, globbed manicure twice now. I am done with Luxury Nails. I paid and tipped prior to nail polish being applied, and I was very unhappy with result. When I questioned her about my cuticle, she told me it was fine. I came home and removed the polish and took care of my own cuticle. read more

Don't go. Save your money. My nails look horrible. The nail polish doesn't cover my entire nail. The edges of my nails are sharp.

I love this place and I won't go anywhere else to get my nails done. I love the look and feel of the place --- it's modern and clean. They also offer complimentary water and pop. I've always been 100% satisfied with services I've received here. My pedicures are always beautiful and the shellac and acrylics are top notch. Yesterday I had an appointment for my friend and I to have mani pedis. We both got our pedis together and then she was called to get her mani. I was told that I would be taken in 5 minutes. 15 minutes later ( after my friend was almost done) I was taken and told her that I just wanted a fill. She then began electric filing down my nails and before I knew it she was ripping off my fake nails that I had on originally (that I had done there 2 weeks prior). I was then told that I would not be charged for the removal of the nails ( which the removal was extremely painful). I made it VERY clear that I did NOT want another set of fake nails on and that I only wanted acrylic on my nicely grown out nails. She agreed and then proceeded to cut all of MY nails down and then put on fake nails ( that I didn't want but didn't have a choice after she cut mine down super short!). Everything I didn't want was done anyway. All I wanted was a Simple nail fill, but (I think) because of the language barrier was not understood regardless of how much I explained to them what I wanted. Instead of a price I expected, they got me for 75 dollars!!!!! AND THEN had an attitude when I wanted to give a tip on my credit card!!! They expected a cash tip, which I usually give, but didn't today. Honestly, I can't believe I still even have a tip! I was a pedicure regular at this place for years and just started getting my nails done and I will likely NEVER return for anything!! My fingers have been killing me for 2 days now with how rough she was at taking them off when I didn't even want it done!
