I requested French tips and when he was painting my first toe, I asked if the color he put on for the base was pink, which I did not request (he actually never even asked me what color). I told him I didn't really like the pink and usually go with a nude color. He simply continued with the pink and said this is the usual base color (which is not true because Amy did not use pink when I went to her). While he was doing my toes, I told him the very simple design and color I wanted on my nails when he asked. He immediately said he didn't have time for a design. Meanwhile, I'm paying for this service and made an appointment! Not my fault he scheduled me wrong. After telling him if he doesn't have time, I'll just simple get my toes done, he suddenly changed his mind. Well, that was a mistake because he was rushed the entire time. The design on one finger was awful and the nails were not clean. The entire experience not relaxed at all and I wish I could "return my nails". I'd go back if I was able to book with Amy, I loved going to her. I'm currently at another nail salon and they even asked where I got my nails done because they were done poorly and almost impossible to get off - ruined my nails.

Unfortunately, they do not use the quick dry polish that most other places use. So it took about 30 to 45 minutes for my polish to finish drying while sitting under fans. I did witness them cleaning out the foot baths very carefully between customers. I also saw that they sanitized their equipment after each customer in a microwave looking sanitizer. They also wear masks and gloves for each customer and continually change their gloves, depending on the procedure they're doing at the time. They also continue to use plexiglass between the customer and the therapist. I was asked if I wanted to pay before my nail polish was applied to avoid messing up my nails later. Good idea. I did not see signs posted anywhere for the prices and when I came in and asked for a mani-pedi, they just went ahead and I guess assumed that I had been there before. So I am including their current price list that I found while sitting in the pedicure massage chair.

He asked a few questions about myself and we just had some small talk. Overall the salon is quiet. Tons of color selections for regular polish, gel polish, and dip powders. Now for the service: Kevin was very meticulous. BUT, some of the jail lengths and shapes weren't as equal as other salons have done. Next, the e-file. I don't have sensitive skin and it was getting pretty hot. I nearly asked him to turn it down, but I roughed it out. Then he started using a regular file to shape my nails and he filed so hard, AND HE FILED MY SKIN. I have some brush burns and cuts around my nail beds. There are some other minor things, but it's not enough to tell unless you're staring and looking for imperfections. Overall, my nails look good, but the method was a bit questionable. I don't know of any other good salons in the area. Prices are typical, but I'm still deciding if I want to come back or not.
