Where do I start with this horrific experience. Silly me purchased a Groupon for a micro blading service. The service listed on Groupon was $500 now 204. Very quickly you realize the integrity of this business with the normal price is 200. When I question what service I'm having, the receptionist said it was Groupon's decision to have it listed at $500. Then comes time to booking the service. When I first called, I was told to book on the website. When I told her I didn't have access to a website at that point in time, she said to call back later. A few days later I have access to the Internet and book the appointment. Two hours before the appointment, I received a cancellation of the appointment, costing me 250 in lost revenue (I could have taken a client myself ). The email asked me to rebook on the app which I do for the next day. The next day I look up the location of the business on Groupon, and catch a taxi to the location. It was 9 AM and nobody was at the business. I called the receptionist number and was told the business is at a new location. And that I could still keep the appointment time. Another taxi ride later, I arrive at the new location at 9:20 AM. The business is still closed. I called again and was told Angela is pulling up. 10 minutes later I called again and I'm asked if I would like to reschedule!!!! Wtf!!!! I shared with this woman that this business should not be an operation. Not only are they disrespectful of other people's time, and money, they are completely deceiving people with their marketing. I called Groupon about this mess, and they are not the best organization as I believe they are head honcho's in deception. After this Occasion I will never use Groupon again, and would never use this salon for anything!!!! Agh! Stay away!!! Dumb and dumper!!! I was so pleased and happy when I went for my first appointment on July 13th hat I decided to make my refill appointment that same day For July 30th. I originally made my appointment for 3:15pm but almost a week before I changed it to 2:00 pm. On Wednesday at 1:54pm I got a text to confirm my appointment, I was at work at the moment and couldn't get to my phone. Then I got another text the same day at 4:15 pm saying that my appointment was rescheduled for 2:30pm. I wasn't to happy about it but figured it was my fault for not confirming? Today July 30th the day of my appointment I received a text at 10:47 am to ask if I could come in for 3:30 pm instead. I told her I couldn't then she said I could be seen at the Metairie location, I asked her for the address to see what time I was supposed to leave work (because the broad location is 5 min away from my job). I got no response, all I got was another text with my appointment confirmation at the broad location for 2:30. I went to the Broad location and waited a couple of minutes only to be told the lash tech Jazmine was not even going to show up. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL !! I don't know who's the owner but I hope she finds out about this and takes care of the problem to avoid another Situation like this in the future! I'm sure won't be happy about it when she finds out. LOVE my lashes! This was my first time getting extensions so I didn't know what to ask for or what to expect. The whole experience was wonderful. LuxuryStudio is in a clean and convenient location. The whole staff is so friendly and my lashes look awesome! Angelique walked me through each lash option and how it would look - I ended up getting medium lashes that I love and have already (in one hour!) gotten so many compliments on. I was in New Orleans for a Bachelorette party and prior to coming, had my lashes done locally. I love lashes extension and never had issue maintaining them for long-lasting wears. I had many sessions, at various locations over the past years, so I am very familiar with the process. Though the previous person did a decent job, it was too long and dramatic for my comfort (it was my fault, that was what I asked for and did not expect the result to be over dramatic). After spending a sleepless night, attempting to peel off the extension myself and pulling off several of my own lashes, I decided to use the power of Yelp! to find a place nearby where we were staying. Luxury Studio was able to take me in the same day and Taylor took great care of me. She removed all what was left of my previous extensions without pulling off my natural lashes. I did not lose as much as I thought I would, so I was happy that I had plenty left for her to reapply a new set. This time I opted for shorter natural mink lashes. It was a world of a difference when I woke up from my mini nap. The first comment I made was that it was sooooo much lighter and my vision was not block by a thick line of lashes. I was completely satisfied when she showed me the final result. Taylor truly made my day and I was no longer uncomfortable for the rest of the trip. read more

I have been getting lashes for three years as I've moved between GA TX and now LA, so I have a lot of experience with extensions. I'm so happy to have found Luxury Studio and Angelique. I have been now several times for a new set of lashes and several fills and invested in the VIP lash service as I have been so pleased. Booking online is very easy and convenient. My lashes look phenomenal everytime I come here to get them done. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. This is only my 2nd time at the new location, and I do like it better than the last. Booking an appointment online is easy, and they were able to accommodate me when I needed same day service. The only thing that I would suggest is selling some sort of lash cleanser to help with the care of the extensions. I will be back! read more

AWESOME, 5 Stars! A girlfriend of mine who's a regular recommended this studio to me. The receptionist is so nice and accommodating, she was able to pencil me in for a same day appointment! Right now, they are running a special for $28, you honestly cant beat that! The ladies here are all so professional and welcoming. I'd never gotten a full Brazilian wax before, so I was beyond nervous. The studio is very CLEAN and organized. There are little goodies to munch on while you wait. (Who doesn't like free candy? haha) My wax tech, Sil, made my first experience really comfortable. She was talking to me the entire time, making me laugh and keeping me relaxed through the process. She gave me tons of aftercare advice. It's been two weeks, and it still hasn't grown back yet. Made an appointment for 2pm on a Sunday. I received I believe 2 text messages confirming my appointment. Drove to the place to find two men inside telling me that it was closed. I told them I had an appointment and they shook their heads and told me they were closed on Sundays. On their website they say it is open from 12-4pm and 4:30-5:30 pm. My eyelashes were rushed. Beautiful for the first 3 ish days, but after that they were a nightmare. Also got one lash applied to multiple of my lashes, which when I was reading into eyelash extensions trying to learn as much as possible I read that was a big no no. It really hurt too! I have been a LOYAL customer for over a year now. I should have known this would happen after reading the reviews prior to making my first appointment. This is gong to be a long review... 1. My first appointment I sat and waited over an hour to start my services. It took over 3 hours but my lashes looked great. (It took so long because my tech kept stopping to talk on the phone, text and greet family members coming to visit) I paid $80 for a full set. Great prices and the establishment was clean and everyone was so sweet and friendly. 2. I continue to come back every 3 weeks, but noticed when the owner didn't do my lashes I was coming back every week because they were falling out. She fixed them without charge. Great. 3. Fast forward, I would book an appointment and she would be a no show. NUMEROUS TIMES, I'd show up, the place out be locked up or a lash tech would let me know she was in traffic, etc. at first I was understanding and then more and more clients showed up with the same issue. 4. I started going to another tech there, again, at first she was lovely. We laughed and chatted the entire time and my lashes still looked great. 5. My next appointment my tech called me to let me know she had a family emergency (which I found out later was a lie) and she scheduled me with another tech that's I've been going to since. 6. Now, after getting to know the two technicians on a pretty good level, I found out a lot of personal things and operations about the owner. I was very uncomfortable but didn't say anything I'm kind of just listened. 7. Well, on the second to last time I went they were going on and on about the glue. Apparently the glue they were using was very cheap and right off of Amazon, before i left my appointment MY LASHES WERE FALLING OUT ATTACHED TO MY REAL LASHES. Now I have damaged and bald lashes. 8. She asked me to come back so that she could fix them, I did but it was too late. I will attach pictures below. This place is a joke!!!!! STAY AWAY. they do not care about your lashes or clients. They only care about money... I reached to Ang via email and phone call and even saw her & she never once asked me what was going on. Poor service and quality. When I opened my eyes the burned for a while. I got them done Friday for my wedding on Sunday. Mind you I have experience getting lashes and know how to main and preserve them. No oil based products and sleeping on my back and avoiding water on my face and such. Monday I barely have any extensions left and whatever lashes I do have left hurt really bad. It's like they were poking my lash line every time I blinked. I know it wasn't anything I did on my part that led to my lashes like this. The owner is who did my lashes and didn't mention anything about what length or curl or diameter size she was using on me. Another chunk of my lashes fall out and I look at it closely and it's 8 again I repeat 8 lash extensions on one natural lash. It literally looked like a cheap lash cluster from any beauty store was applied. I also asked for a cat eye and she gave me an open eyed look which was also annoying. I called to discuss this with her and basically got the blame for not calling her sooner mind you I've been messaging her for days about this. Friday I got them done, Saturday was last minute wedding stuff, Sunday my wedding and Monday morning I was off to my honeymoon. With all that going on she insisted I called on Monday even tho that wouldn't have done anything considering I was on a flight and my quality of her work was so poor. I came in with a disastrous lash job that I had had done at a salon at home (at substantial cost). I booked an appointment based on the yelp reviews while I was in town for my bachelorette because I was so depressed about my lashes. Angelique did a fabulous (THE BEST!) job. My lashes looked even better than I had wanted them to the first time and she knew EXACTLY what I wanted. Not to mention the salon is beautiful and Angelique is super kind and lovely. I am extremely satisfied with my new eyelash extensions! I was very concerned about wanting a natural (read: subtle, just woke up with perfect mascara) look and Angelique was able to give me everything I had hoped for. She also works insanely fast, with the entire service of a full set of eyelashes taking one hour. As I could tell from the full waiting room when I walked out, she has a following of customers that live by her service. I really enjoyed speaking with her and felt very comfortable throughout the procedure. Best wax I've ever had. Was kept distracted and entertained the whole time, which was actually insanely quick. The woman makes her own natural wax out of honey, which is really cool and she even gave me a free arm pit wax for being a first time customer. The salon is hard to find but once you do it is the best! Called the phone the first week and it goes straight to voicemail, when I finally did get a call back they told me text my email and name and still nothing. Kits weren't in time! You really can't beat the quality for the price here. Lash extensions are usually crazy expensive but you can get 5 fills for $150 here. I've been going to Courtney for about a year now. She's super sweet and gentle and does an amazing job every time. Sometimes the glue will burn a little at the end if its a stronger one, but I think it's worth it for how much longer they last. People always compliment my lashes and ask if they're real and I recommend this place to people all the time. read more

The first time I went for microblading here I was extremely nervous, set up a time and talked with a very professional woman who went over everything and I got the look I wanted. I needed a touch up 4 weeks later and made an appointment at 11am. I waited patiently for 30 minutes and finally had to get up and ask when I was going to get my fill in. The lady told me the one who was suppose to come fill in my brows couldn't make it? So she said she could squeeze me in at 1230. I returned exactly at 1230. She proceeded to tell me that I would have to wait awhile because her friends are in and had to take them first. I was astounded how professional the first time was. This establishment has potential and I only go to locally run businesses, especially when they are run by women. I support women businesses and they need to hopefully improve. I scheduled my appointment on a Friday for the upcoming Monday. My appointment was for 11AM Monday. I leave my house morning of which is 45 minutes away in plans to arrive 10 minutes early for the convenience of the business. 15 minutes before my appointment time, when I am 3 minutes away, I get a notification saying my appointment has been rescheduled to 11:30. They had TWO days to notify me this but instead do it 15 minutes before my appointment! I decide to wait in my car. I see someone has an appointment too that they showed up for so I'm not the only one who had this problem. During this time waiting I am paying for parking. 11:30 comes around and still no one is here. This is really inconvenient waste of my time driving, waiting and money on gas, parking. I wish this business had some respect for incoming customers. I wish I was able to comment on their service but didn't even get to receive any! This would've been my first time but I'll take my money and time elsewhere. read more
