Since moving to the New Orleans area nearly 2 years ago, I have STRUGGLED to find a place to perfectly wax my eyebrows. This has been a great challenge, as I consider my brows to be one of my prized possessions, and every place I tried greatly missed the mark. MC Threading Studio is located within a strip mall with plenty of parking spots and is owned by a sweetheart named Mona! Mona's place is quite small, however, the interior design is very homey, simple, and modern. It is literally a one woman show and Mona performs flawlessly! I was seated in the waiting area for about five minutes, and then had my eyebrows threaded and tinted in under twenty minutes! I loved how she was precise with the timing of tinting my eyebrows. My eyebrows are quite fair, so she made sure that they were not tinted too dark to my complexion. After placing the dye on my eyebrows, she told me to sit back in the waiting area so she can take in another customer. She told me to remind her to remove the dye after seven minutes, however, i lost track of time. She still managed to remember while juggling two other customers eyebrows. Very impressive! Overall, i love how fast paced and talented Mona is and I am certainly impressed with my eyebrows. Its been about three days since I've had my eyebrows tinted and they're still shaded very nicely! Highly recommend! Also, i just followed her Instagram, and noticed that she usually has deals during holidays. Definite plus! *update* eyebrow tint lasts about 1 week and a half. I used to go here for years, but if it's not the mom the eyebrows are rushed and come out very bad. One of my eyebrows is halfway chopped off the other is super bushy. not sisters or even related. This is everytime the daughter does it. Used to be my favorite place but she just does not care how they turn out. she wants you in and out unless you're her friend. read more

The place was very nice, clean, and quiet. the service, however, seemed like it was going great until I got to check out my brows. I was stunned. They looked like 2 completely different brows. One is shaped decently the other, however, is completely different and I can't tell that they're supposed to be tinted. overall I wouldn't recommend! I love what the owner is doing here, it's a great small run, threading studio which delivers fast service. As quickly as you walk in you'll walk out with your brows done. I've been letting Mona thread my brows for about a year now and I love it here! I make sure to visit her whenever I'm in town because her work is to die for. One of my eyebrows grows unevenly due to an injury I suffered as a child and she always makes a point to leave a little extra on the brow to make sure they come out as evenly as possible. Not only does she do an amazing job, but it's painless and almost therapeutic to get them done. On another note, I went to her today and I must say that my eyebrows look the best they've looked all year and this may sound a bit conceited, but I can't stop looking at them.
