You'll hafta to bust open some piggy banks to be able to afford anything here. Somers has made furniture for many casinos, restaurants, & bars around town. So you know that if their furniture can withstand the abuse from these high traffic areas, they'll be fine in your private residence. Unlike other furniture stores around town, this company works by appointment only. Also, unlike other furniture stores in town, there are no grand showrooms with tons of inventory. The "showroom" area itself is actually quite small. The rest of the building is dedicated to workspace - where your furniture will be built. Framing, sewing, finishing...it was neat to see the whole process. I'm jumping too far ahead though. Step 1) Make an appointment Step 2) Meet your designers During your design meeting, you'll discuss: 1) what kind of furniture you are looking for - indoor, outdoor, or both 2) who'll be using the furniture - any kids, pets, etc.? 3) styles 4) colors 5) size/shape 6) space planning I'm probably missing some elements. But, you get the idea. The designers will take all the information and come up with ideas that will suit you and your family. They'll email those ideas to you and make follow-up appointments to tweak the design to your wants and needs. Once you are happy with the design and have made your fabric choices, it's go time for the builders (Step3). Several factors come into play regarding how long it will take to build your piece or pieces. Plan on being furnitureless or on using your old furniture for several weeks though. The delivery team will unload & set-up your space. The outdoor furniture pieces are extremely heavy - made to withstand high winds. Make sure you know exactly where you want them because it'll be hard to move them by yourself after the delivery team leaves. So if your wallet can handle it and you want custom-made furniture, give Somers a call! P.s. My wallet couldn't handle it :( Hence only 4 stars. It wasn't until my husband spotted a bedbug on her bed that we realized what was happening. The house we rented had been vacant for over a year with no signs of infestation, so we traced it back to the rented furniture. AFR denied responsibility and delayed picking up the items. The landlord ended up paying for fumigation, and we're still unsure if it will come out of our deposit. This whole ordeal reopened emotional wounds from the fire. I would never recommend renting furniture, especially in a time of crisis. What was meant to help us recover only made things worse.

So a wile back I spoke with a sales lady named Brook who must be new or something. She was not very knowledgeable, forgetful, and seemed to be in her own world. She also didnt seem to be listening as I had to repeate myself alot. Called to get drapes, tables, and a bar simple party type thing. After repeating my self over and over. I dont think she remembered or wrote anything down. I heard her giggling and saying something regarding Taylor Swift to someone next to her. It was extreamly unprofessional. The worst part was after I got done explaining what I needed. She said oh that's not that much. You can probably get it all from homedepot and other stores ‍. Doing that will save you some money. Have money was not looking to save money. I do small events for my business. I care more about quality and making my clients imagine come to life. Needless to say talking to this advise giving person (definitely not a sales women, telling me to just make it or get if from a store lol) She should probably get a job with Taylor Swift or a job involving joking around.
