She works alone but really dedicates her appointments to you and you really get special treatment during your appointments, and she makes sure your dress is PERFECT before leaving her store. May literally saved my dress! I took my dress to get it altered with another seamstress that was recommended by the shop where I bought my dress and the seamstress botched up my wedding dress. I literally wanted to cry because I felt uncomfortable in it and felt terrible in it. I was on the verge of buying another wedding dress because it was so botched I didn't think it was salvageable. In a panic and on a time crunch, I started looking on Yelp for high rating reviews on seamstresses in the valley when I stumbled upon May's Alterations & Tailoring. After binge reading the reviews, I decided to call her and book an appointment and explain the situation I was in. On my first appointment May literally had to deconstruct my dress and instantly found all the "mistakes/errors" the previous seamstress did. May had to remove all the work that the previous seamstress did on the dress because it was that bad. May reassured me she could save my dress and that I would be happy my end results and she was absolutely right! I was indecisive about going with sleeves or sleeveless so she made my dress with removable straps so I could decide how I wanted to wear it.
