There was a variety of color options for shellac (gel) and regular polish. My shellac manicure cost $35 which is normal for this area. Appointments are required, but clients can text the salon! As a millennial, I love that. Carol takes pride in cleanliness and sanitation, and educates her clients on nail health. She really understands the laws and regulations, and follows them. Things such as giving each client a new buffer, using a new nail filer for each client, and keeping her tools in a sanitation liquid, etc. She does not use jetted tubs for pedicures. Stale water from the previous pedicure sits in the jets and contaminates the next clients water! This I knew previously as it is the same as jacuzzis in hotels. I have definitely found my new salon.

i've been going here since high school years ago, but things have changed. i came in once for gel-x…read morenails before thanksgiving. i got them done with the new technician (Sam i think?) and 1/2 a week later, every single one had peeled off like stickers. i came back in to have them fixed with michelle, gel-x again, and same thing they all started peeling off not even 2 days later. i figured they don't do them that frequently but $65 for them was upsetting. -- i came to the salon right at 9:00 before christmas because maps said it was open at 9. i forgot they wrote 9:30 on the door but whatever i was going to wait. then two ladies pulled up next to me at 9:10, one got out of her car and went to go open the door to reveal a dark store. then michelle comes up 2 minutes later, says to wait (because it's not 9:30), then both the ladies walk right in and get serviced immediately when they both had seen me sitting there waiting when they pulled up. although i was first and was planning to wait till 9:30 when they ACTUALLY opened, being respectful, i got serviced last and got to wait an hour and a half. when the new technician arrived, i figured it was my turn since the one lady was getting her toes done and the other girl was getting her nails done. low and behold, i was told to sit back down and wait because the lady getting her toes done was next in line for fingers EVEN though she wasn't even done. ridiculous favoritism.. ---- after many years of going here, i will officially be going somewhere else. high prices, favoritism towards the regulars and high schoolers, wait times of up to 3 hours (i would know), and understaffed severely.

She's a very friendly lady however when she removed the tips from my daughter's nails, she actually tore the tip off the nail till it tore the nail bed and caused her to bleed. She did this not once, but twice. Two nails were bleeding. I can't understand why she works in a nail salon but does not know how to do this in a way that does not injure a person. The story behind this: I walked into this tanning place location in my way to the gym ( which includes tanning). I was looking for a hemp tanning lotion, since I find them to be the best tanning lotions I have encounter so far , next to the one I just found "bronzology" which smells fantastic by the way and does an excellent job. Well, I do not dress in design clothes to be sweaty, so I walk in here and the lady behind the counter immediately assumed what is in my budget or not. Well, a $120 lotion might be something I could consider buying if I didn't know I can get much cheaper and better quality products out there. Then she said "well you can buy our "mediocre" lotions ( she really said mediocre) because they might be more in your price range", without me saying anything about what I can or cannot afford. Either way her mediocre lotions were still 50+ dollars. In my mind I wonder why I am paying 50+ dollars for a mediocre product? Then I finally inquire about their tanning rates which I find ridiculous because their regular beds are the same price a month as the gym which is less than 50 feet away ,and you get a gym with the tanning bed. So in conclusion, if you like snooty, over priced, and mediocre tanning lotions I would totally recommend this place, and at the end they didn't even had what I was looking for.
