AWFUL. Go ANYWHERE else. My mom and I visited LV Nails on a Saturday, and while we were able to get right in, we were quickly disappointed. The owner seems to be very old school, stubborn and stuck in his ways. My mom wanted a gel french manicure, and Tony gave her acrylic tips. She kept telling him she didn't want the tips and he insisted they would be better. When it came to shaping them, she asked him to file them shorter (because she didn't want tips) and he refused to go any shorter because he thought "it was too short." I asked for a dip/powder manicure, which he said he would refuse to do (even though he had the materials to do it). He then gave me a 5 minute lecture on why dip/powder is bad for your nails and gel/acrylic is better. He said he would do an acrylic overlay with a gel finish - this sounded weird to me but I went along with it for the sake of ease. Needless to say, it was the absolute WORST manicure we both had ever received. The manicure not only looked terrible, but my nails felt rough and had jagged edges and it began to chip almost 2 days later. Not only that, but my fingers were literally bruised the day after for all the pressure he put on them. I had to have the whole manicure redone by another salon 4 days later. The pedicures were decent (because they were done by the ladies and not Tony), but my gel pedicure began chipping a week later. Do not go here for a manicure. After reading the reviews my expectations were pretty low for this place but there really weren't any better options so we decided to give it a shot. Color me surprised, it was actually pretty good! The place isn't much to look at, plain and a bit dated. But the staff were very nice and attentive. I've certainly had better manicures in my life but they definitely did try hard. Friendly staff. Good pedicures with good massages for $25. If you want the deluxe it's an extra five dollars but worth it. Painting job isn't the greatest. It seemed like they were trying to go fast or rush on painting. Also, not sure if my light color or the quality of the paint, but it probably could have used three coats. read more

We visited this salon for a mani pedi for my wedding the following day. Everything was fine at first. We got the deluxe pedi and two women working there were great. I wanted a French for my wedding and the female owner did a great job on my toes and my nieces nails. By the time we were finished the manicure chairs were full and we had to wait. Then after a while a woman getting her nails done stood up and started yelling that the male owner was unprofessional, that he had cut her, and ruined her nails for HER wedding day. Turns out she was getting married the same day and place as I was. After beginning to curse my sister asked the woman to stop because my niece could here her. She walked out and it was my turn. The man was angry and distracted when doing my nails. It is understandable but maybe he should have taken a break or sent us down the road to a friend's because my manicure was horrible. After being there for two hours and dealing with the annoying child of the owners, we were ready to just leave. Thankfully my sister fixed my nails the following day and we had a lovely wedding. read more

We got our nails done here. Absolutely awful. I can not believe the way the old man working speaks to people. The lady doing our nails was fine but the experience was ruined by the yelling man. I have never seen someone speak to a customer in this way... ever. Even though he did not take care of us his yelling and accosting his customer ruined our experience. We left feeling badly for the young lady he yelled at. We witnessed their entire encounter and she did nothing to deserve the treatment she received. We also had called ahead asked if they could do two manicures at the same time. They told us yes. We arrived and they started our nails but then only did one after the other inconveniencing us due to the time crunch which is why we called ahead and checked. They are clearly not considerate. We made pedicure appointments for noon that day. We arrived and were put in the water and left to sit for 40 minutes before anyone even started working on the 3 of us. Meanwhile, the owners sarcastic and annoying child proceeded to sit and "carry on" to us and two older ladies next to us. He was offensive and rude at times and never once did the owners tell him to leave us alone or to be quiet. He was very insulting to the ladies next to us. I will give the one star for the pedicure and the price. It was a nice pedicure, BUT she put the top coat on so thick that 2 hours later it still wasn't dry and 3 toes were messed up long after we left. I think they need more help if they can't keep us with their flow of customers and they need a babysitter! We won't be going back. We had stuff to do and didn't leave the place for 2 hours! Horrible service. Very rude and inappropriate toward customers. I get my nails done every two weeks at several different salons and I have never come across bad customer service like this one. The owner smoked a cigarette before doing my nails and did not wash his hands. He refused to do anything I asked. I told him He was hurting my nails, and he replied, " no one will want to do your nails because you jerk them away". I get my nails done every 2 weeks and I've never had a problem with someone hurting me. The couple who run this place are really nice - the quality of their work isn't that great though. I went in to get shellac changed and they soaked my entire hand instead of just the tips in foil which I did not like. Also, the polish is over my cuticle and touching my skin on every nail and running totally off the side of my thumbnail. The lady also cut my finger. They need to take a cue from Luxury Nails about the type of quality work they should be offering. I only went here because Luxury Nails was too busy. I don't think I will go back. Worst service & powder dip mani I've ever had. We stopped in wanting 2 pedi's and 1 powder dip mani. They had a couple clients and I asked if we should come back a bit later and he said to come right in. They started my husband's pedi and had me soak my nails in acetone for almost an hour. Another person came in wanting an acrylic set with French polish. I sat soaking thru her entire mani and my husbands pedi. He finally starts on my powder dip and two new people came in.He repeatedly told then five more minutes while rushing very roughly thru my mani and cut my nail/cuticle areas several times even after i said he was hurting me. He slapped the dip powder on followed by sloppy shellac coating. More on my skin than nails. By this time my husband had had a 45-50 minute pedi. Had me moved to pedi chair and she did the pedi in 15 mins and then he polished my toenails - again sloppily. The whole time he kept conplimenting himself on his years in the business, his speed and low costs. Overall, horrible experience and they try to hurd people thru like cattle instead of providing a pleasant, relaxing experience as it should be. read more

NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE!! The only good thing was that the pedicure girls were very nice. Otherwise, the place was so messy and dirty, I worried if they even cleaned their pedicure foot tubs! I went in for a manicure, and the owner started gluing long acrylic nails on me. "No, I don't want anything fake," I said, "I just want a regular manicure with my own natural nails." "It be natural, it be natural," he kept saying, so never having gotten acrylics before, I thought maybe he was using them as a template that he would later take off. NO!! I type on a computer all day, and these were too thick and too long (after I asked him to file them down three times!). SO thick that they started lifting up and bubbling down by the cuticle one week later, catching on my hair whenever I put it up in a ponytail. To make matters worse, it was more expensive than a regular manicure and when I went to get my nails redone somewhere else, I had to soak for an hour in acetone and the nails STILL didn't come off!! So there was no time for the girl to do my manicure. She sent me home with instructions to soak my nails in more acetone before coming back the next day to get my nails done. if i could rate this place lower i would. starting off, there were only 2 employees working, but they let in many people and promised quick service to them even though they had multiple people in front of them. this means, they rushed on our pedicures. the man doing mine didn't cut my toes, didn't cut the cuticles, gave me a deluxe without asking (not knowing because this was our first time there) and then charged us for it. he then began doing someone's fingers, and then a woman started to paint mine. when i say, a child could've done better, im not lying. there was polish all over my toes, and they are very streaky. after my mom confronted them for charging us for a deluxe pedicure, she told them what all they did wrong too and they didn't care. they gave us back $10 for what we should've been charged for regular pedicure. overall, worst experience i've ever had at a nail salon. i would suggest NEVER coming here, unless you want to spend $30 for a 10 minute pedicure, all while working on other people. read more
