So I had an appointment at LXVE Studios new sister location on the strip and it had to get canceled the day of unfortunately. So at first I thought I was out of luck but after some slight schedule adjusting I was fortunate to get an appointment the same night with the wonderful Kandie! Now this is a Friday night mind you, so that alone put all my worries to rest because getting a haircut on a Friday with notice is usually a challenge in itself and with almost no notice is usually impossible but not tonight. It was not the first time I've got my haircut from her and it certainly will not be the last. Very attentive and always makes sure I leave looking better than I came in. If her own hair doesn't sell you enough on her talent hopefully this review will. I've been getting my haircut from Jose for about a year or so now and let me just say he is by far the best barber anyone could ask for. Not just because he is amazing at cutting hair but he really cares about his clients. To him we are more than just his clients. It says a lot about the kind of person he is. To me that's what sets him apart from everybody else. He really knows his craft. You show him a picture and it will be spot on, if not better. You ask him questions or tips and he will answer. Had an awesome first time experience. Went to go get my cut at LXVE studios. At first it was kinda hard to find so I called and asked for directions. I had my haircut with Drix and dude it was worth getting my cut with him and his whole crew. They are very personable yet professional. He knew exactly what style I like and showed me how much and where he would cut just in case it didnt look right for me. At the very end they gave my a nice clean facial and boxed water. Here I am, writing my first review, because I feel ever-so-inclined to vouch for, hands down, the best men's hair stylist in Nevada. I have been a client of Jose's for about a year now, and without fail, the service he provides is not only phenomenal... it is consistent. For the better part of my life, I have witnessed, like most others, haircuts that are mediocre at best and a few that I have fallen asleep to. Jose does not provide a simple haircut and styling... he provides an experience. When you go into the studio, pay attention to the small details he puts his thoughts into your surroundings. They range from the high quality microfibers he utilizes to massage your hair for a drying to the heated rosemary-infused felted fabric that Jose therapeutically caresses on your face. Best part of all "the little things" is Jose never brags about it nor brings it up. When you enjoy the quality materials he uses and express your feelings toward them, only then will Jose explain to you the significance of that item. Ultimately, what makes me keep coming back, even when I moved out of state, is Jose's strong sense of ethics and honesty. I never have trusted a barber with pushing me to purchase a product from them.
