José is by far the barber I have ever had in my life. What he has done with LxLv Studios is create an experience like no other. He provides the perfect service for anyone who is looking for a quality haircut/hairstyling, anything hair knowledge & convenience in the most comfortable & personalized setting. Convenience: Just like most places that offer appointments you can make them through the phone, however José offers an option for you to make the appointments online. It is a very easy process and it also sends you text reminders of your appointment and gives you the ability to reschedule if you'd like. Comfortable & Personalized: Jose is a nice, knowledgable, down to earth dude and is open to any questions or demonstrations you have about your hair. Most of my life I have had a short hairstyle because having straight and thick hair I didn't even know it was possible to be able to style it differently. You could imagine when I first started coming to Jose I had a lot of questions and still do about how to style my hair, what kind of product to use for what finishing look, what shampoo is good/bad, how to blow-dry and the list goes on and on. Jose makes me feel at ease and answers all the questions with detail, examples and he tries his best to show you techniques. One of the coolest things he's done was after cutting my hair, he gave me the blowdryer and walked me through the steps. This gave me extra confidence in knowing that when I got home and ultimately washed my hair I could make it look good again LOL. The studio is located in the Phoenix building right in front of the Smith's in the plaza. The studio has a modern, urban feel to it and is clean, cozy, relaxing with a nice view of the Strip. Jose offers a variety of beverages including: water, beer, liquor & espresso. Last time I came in I didn't really feel like drinking anything but he sold me on the espresso which he takes his time to make for you and I am glad I did. If that wasn't enough he even lets you pick your own music to make you even feel more at home. After he's done styling your hair you get a warm towel treatment with super soft black towels that smell great. Honestly when you get a haircut from Jose you leave not only looking great, but feeling great, more knowledgable about your hair and looking forward to your hair growing back so you can come back again. First off... Great customer service. 2nd... fantastic haircut. I was a walk-in Client and as soon as I was a foot in the door I was greeted by Johnny and Jose. Both great guys and I had my haircut by Johnny. Not only did he take his time to listen to what I wanted he also threw out some ideas and we collaborated on a phenomenal cut. He also let me know some tips and tricks for when I'm at home by myself styling my hair along with product recommendations. So I had an appointment at LXVE Studios new sister location on the strip and it had to get canceled the day of unfortunately. So at first I thought I was out of luck but after some slight schedule adjusting I was fortunate to get an appointment the same night with the wonderful Kandie! Now this is a Friday night mind you, so that alone put all my worries to rest because getting a haircut on a Friday with notice is usually a challenge in itself and with almost no notice is usually impossible but not tonight. It was not the first time I've got my haircut from her and it certainly will not be the last. Very attentive and always makes sure I leave looking better than I came in.
