Top notch--Mikey not only gave me a great haircut, but also cultivated an environment that was funny, calm and overall enjoyable. The attention to detail for my cut was extremely high and meticulous. You're paying for an experience not just a haircut. My fade took around 30 minutes alone followed by 20 mins for my top, and another 20 for straight razor. The experience is finished off with a shampoo and hot towel (unlike a traditional barber). Meaning your get the best of a high end salon and the expertise of a men's focused barbershop. Found this place on Yelp and was convinced with the good reviews to give them a try. Book & pay for your appointments online and not worry about it when you come down there. There's only 2 chairs so making an appointment is a must. Place is clean and cozy. Manly yet welcoming. They offer you drinks: beer, water, soda, espresso, you name it! But the most important aspect of all is the haircut! Brought my son here cus last year he decided to grow his hair til the end of the school year. Well it's only March and he gave up cus his hair was too long and unmanageable. Eddie took the time to listen to how he wanted his hair cut. He did a tremendously awesome job! I've been desperately looking for a good beard barber in Las Vegas and been coming up short until I found LXVE. I've read on Yelp it's tough to get an appointment here because they are so booked. I called at 8am and Jose said they had an appointment switch times and I could come in at 10am. As soon as I walked in and saw how cool the place looked I realized I found a solid barbershop. Jose was awesome and very welcoming. He offered a drink and had an awesome selection of whiskey's and other drinks and was really knowledgeable on the kinds offered. First time trying this salon and I'm glad I did. Eddie was amazing. He took his time and made sure that I got exactly what I wanted. He is very personable, and will talk to you and make you feel like you've known him for years. It's hard to find a good barber with that type of personality. The place is easy enough to find. Suite#119 is tucked away towards the back. It's a very clean, comfortable, homely suite. I arrived early and Eddie took me right away. He offered me a drink and asked what type of cut I was looking for. The cut was amazing, but his personality and his passion is what will keep me coming back. I went in to get my hair cut recently and the entire time RD was cutting hair without a mask on. Jose, which I believe is the owner, at one point said "I think the mask thing is bullshit...." What gives you the right to put your client's lives at risk because you don't want to wear a mask? I want to be able to get my haircut by a barber who wears a mask and actually cares about his client's lives regardless of his feelings that coronavirus is not a big deal. Also there were two chairs being used side by side and I'm almost certain the chairs are not six feet apart. $50 haircut and a barber who is too selfish to wear a mask? No thanks. read more

We owned a men's salon for many years in Vegas. We sold it over a year ago. Since we've been trying to find another salon to call home. I went to book an appointment for a haircut but my first choice was closed on Mondays. I found Lxve on yelp and gave it a shot. It's a barbershop + salon but with some swag. It is a very easy process and it also sends you text reminders of your appointment and gives you the ability to reschedule if you'd like. Most of my life I have had a short hairstyle because having straight and thick hair I didn't even know it was possible to be able to style it differently. You could imagine when I first started coming to Jose I had a lot of questions and still do about how to style my hair, what kind of product to use for what finishing look, what shampoo is good/bad, how to blow-dry and the list goes on and on. Jose makes me feel at ease and answers all the questions with detail, examples and he tries his best to show you techniques. One of the coolest things he's done was after cutting my hair, he gave me the blowdryer and walked me through the steps. This gave me extra confidence in knowing that when I got home and ultimately washed my hair I could make it look good again LOL. The studio is located in the Phoenix building right in front of the Smith's in the plaza. The studio has a modern, urban feel to it and is clean, cozy, relaxing with a nice view of the Strip. Jose offers a variety of beverages including: water, beer, liquor & espresso. Last time I came in I didn't really feel like drinking anything but he sold me on the espresso which he takes his time to make for you and I am glad I did. If that wasn't enough he even lets you pick your own music to make you even feel more at home. After he's done styling your hair you get a warm towel treatment with super soft black towels that smell great.
