My first time at the shop, a little girl was getting her first board and they were very kind to her and her parents. They built it for her and told her how special it was because it was made just for her. When I got to talking with the staff, they talked me through some options, and were super cool about me taking some time to think on it and coming back later. When I finally went to purchase, there was no rush and they gave me lots of things to consider in the process rather than just trying to make the most money. Since then, I've visited several times. There are always teenagers hanging out and the owner goes out of his way to make them feel like they belong in the community with no judgment. They do sessions out in front of the store every Sunday and are super encouraging and positive to the kids and adults participating. It is seriously the most wholesome and kind place. Check them out if you need a new hobby!

I will say in the clothing their prices were more reasonable. I saw that they sell uppers for AR-15's I didn't really look at their prices but I've been on the lookout for some AR-10 lowers but they quickly let me know that they don't sell firearms. I think it's odd that they sell basically everything else you need to complete a build except the lower lol. Maybe if I can make friends with them the prices will reflect that?

I had seen a women's Felt advertised on Facebook but when I showed up the price was not marked and I was told a different price. After showing Mark the post he couldn't honor the price. My husband was going to get the men's Felt we saw on a sale Facebook post on their page but the price was not honored either. They said they had to raise the price due to Covid. We were ready to buy two bikes but unfortunately it didn't work out. Everything happens for a reason though because Melonbike was the first place we went to and had no knowledge since we were new riders. However, after searching at more places we realized we prefer a different brand that fits our riding interests better.
