My wife and I have frequented another bike shop for years but…read morethey didn't carry any bike models for our particular use case within our narrow price point. I was calling around to other shops to see what offerings were available and I was surprised to see this shop listed so close to us because I had never seen it before (they have no sign on the shop, it is just painted on the windows). One of the owners, Chad, answered my call and talked to me about some options I might consider. He was very kind and took several minutes answering my questions. When we visited the shop, we were able to continue our conversation right where we left off. Chad spent a great amount of time talking through specifics and asking a lot of questions about our use cases. We talked about places we ride locally and places we ride when we travel. He would always ask how much detail we wanted in answers to questions and would very patiently break down every facet on every bike we asked about with no signs of hurry or being rushed. When we finally settled on a model, they didn't have any on hand but they ordered them for us on a reasonable down payment. I also want to highlight the fact that he was perfectly fine with us thinking on it and coming back, there was no pressure to purchase that day. When the bikes came in, we scheduled a time for a fitting. Sarah, the other owner, took time adjusting every bit of the bike fit to our exact specs and Chad spent a great deal of time working on our suspension while also talking us through how to make adjustments on our own. Their attention to detail was incredible and they even took time to cut handlebars and find a more suitable saddle for my wife during her fitting. On our first outing on the new bikes, I made a silly mistake and kinked my dropper post cable. When I brought it back to the shop the next day, the mechanic Andrew dropped what he was doing and fixed it while I was there. Every interaction with the staff here has been amazing. They are genuinely good humans who love bikes and care about their customers. I cannot recommend them enough.

They were able to use the existing break line for the repair, saving me from having to buy a new line, and had it back to me the next business day. When I got my bike back, it was spotless. Not only did they fix my issue, they cleaned and maintained my bike free of charge. That's all great, but my favorite thing about the shop is the atmosphere. The workers always seem enthusiastic about answering my cycling questions, regardless of whether I end up buying something or not. I truly cannot recommend Neighborhood Bicycles enough!!

Since they were a little booked up, it was done in a few days. I received a text message and an email with an invoice when it was ready for pick up. They are not open on Mondays, but I was able to pick up after work on Tuesday. It's nice that they're open later in the evening than the other shops. The downtown architecture is amazing, and some old neighborhoods are getting total makeovers. I like to peruse through these type of areas. Pretty cool! Even had a little mechanical mishap and things were handled in an efficient manor from the business manager Josh. Once we got the scheduling done, the entire process went smoothly. The oven repair was for a…read morebuilt-in Whirlpool model that I had already removed in an attempt to troubleshoot the issue. This took place in February or March 2026, and it's now early May, so unfortunately I don't remember the repairman's name, as I would definitely give him kudos for his workmanship & pleasant demeanor. The repairman who came out was very efficient & candid about what had happened & what needed to be done. It ended up being a particular fuse that sat immediately behind the control panel had failed, & it just required replacement. There was an entire litany of things that could've gone wrong with it, & he could've quoted me on several of those things, replaced them & charged me exorbitantly for the parts & labor. But... he did not. He was very honest with me & even educated me a little while he checked other parts ( mainly a different fuse on the back of the oven ) to make sure they were functional before he left. I most certainly would use Adam's Appliance Repair. Unfortunately for Yelp, I won't be needing their services in seeking an appliance repair service company - I've found who I'm sticking with hereafter!!

I recently had my water service line replaced from the meter to my house. During the project, David discovered that the boring contractor hadn't installed the new line deep enough to meet code. It would have been easy to work around it, trench through my landscaping, or simply let it go--but instead, he advocated for me. He stood his ground, insisted the boring company come back and do the job correctly, and ultimately saved me from ending up with a substandard installation. That decision cost him an entire day's work while everyone waited for the boring company to return, but he still put doing the job right ahead of simply getting paid and moving on. To top it off, when the project was finished, his final invoice came in below the high end of the estimate he had originally given me. In a world where it's common to brace yourself for surprise costs, that was a refreshing experience. If you're looking for a plumber who is knowledgeable, honest, and willing to advocate for his customers instead of taking the easy way out, I can wholeheartedly recommend David's Plumbing. Integrity like that deserves to be recognized.
