I called him because I live in Novi, my car is down, and I need a ride to Henry Ford hospital Thursday morning. I called him to find out if he could do it, and he told me that he doesn't make local runs. If he doesn't do local runs, then he should not say that he's a Novi/Bloomfield cab or taxi service. That would be false advertising. I regard that as unprofessional. If he no longer does local runs, then he should state that he does not do local runs.

DONT DRIVE FOR UBER!! They CAN rip you off!! My UBER HORROR STORY!…read more Waited about 40 mins at Detroit Metro Airport drivers waiting area and finally got a ride. I pull up to customer and FAULTY UBER APP tells me to get customer pin. Customer says he doesn't know what I am talking about. The FAULTY UBER APP then says enter last 4 numbers of customers phone. NOTHING! Ride won't start on app. So to give this customer SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I tell him I will call customer service on Uber to fix this while we drive an hour to Flint. BIG MISTAKE!! While waiting 10-15 mins on hold customer starts complaining on having to pay 95.00 to Uber because Delta won't fly into Flint. Then Uber answers my call and then disconnected the call!!! Another 10-15 hold time and Uber answers and says wrong 800 number for this issue!!! You kidding me!?!?!?! 3rd call on our 10-15 minutes of waiting and the freeway shuts down!!! Major truck fire!! So while "customer service" puts us on hold about 5x approximately 5-10 mins at a time they finally fix the faulty app and it says ride has begun. 22 miles from Flint and 3 hrs later!!! I drop off customer and I am paid $22.00 for over 100 miles of driving and 3.25 hours in my car! Now customer and I are both upset. So 40 rides all 5 stars and this guy gives me a 1 star because of UBERS PISS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! It gets worse. I send 3 HELP DESK requests and 2 weeks later UBER says it was my problem not theirs!!! Needless to say I will never drive for UBER again nor do I recommend ANYONE do it! Their app clearly shows I picked a customer up at Detriot Metro Airport and drove him to Flint and dropped him off 3.25 hrs later. I made alternate transportation arrangements because my reservation was not confirmed. The day of my departure, I received a call from the driver, saying he was at my house. He described the wrong house and provided me with the main contact line to inquire about my reservation. I called three times before I was able to speak with a human. They said my reservation was confirmed and then emailed me the receipt of the charge they applied to my card - that morning - not prior. No emails were in my spam, so I did not miss any communication, they failed to confirm and still charged a ridiculous fee for a short distance that was never driven. Beware of this company. They will not confirm and leave you wondering, then immediately they are able to find your email to process a payment after your unconfirmed pickup time (and who knows what location). They also hung up on me when I asked what email they sent the confirmation to. Better off with any other company. Should have known better with all of the spelling/grammar errors on the website that details are not their forte.
