DONT DRIVE FOR UBER!! They CAN rip you off!! My UBER HORROR STORY! Waited about 40 mins at Detroit Metro Airport drivers waiting area and finally got a ride. I pull up to customer and FAULTY UBER APP tells me to get customer pin. Customer says he doesn't know what I am talking about. The FAULTY UBER APP then says enter last 4 numbers of customers phone. NOTHING! Ride won't start on app. So to give this customer SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I tell him I will call customer service on Uber to fix this while we drive an hour to Flint. BIG MISTAKE!! While waiting 10-15 mins on hold customer starts complaining on having to pay 95.00 to Uber because Delta won't fly into Flint. Then Uber answers my call and then disconnected the call!!! Another 10-15 hold time and Uber answers and says wrong 800 number for this issue!!! You kidding me!?!?!?! 3rd call on our 10-15 minutes of waiting and the freeway shuts down!!! Major truck fire!! So while "customer service" puts us on hold about 5x approximately 5-10 mins at a time they finally fix the faulty app and it says ride has begun. 22 miles from Flint and 3 hrs later!!! I drop off customer and I am paid $22.00 for over 100 miles of driving and 3.25 hours in my car! Now customer and I are both upset. So 40 rides all 5 stars and this guy gives me a 1 star because of UBERS PISS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! It gets worse. I send 3 HELP DESK requests and 2 weeks later UBER says it was my problem not theirs!!! Needless to say I will never drive for UBER again nor do I recommend ANYONE do it! Their app clearly shows I picked a customer up at Detriot Metro Airport and drove him to Flint and dropped him off 3.25 hrs later. I also sent UBER the link to the MLIVE article showing the major truck fire that closed down US23. MY FAULT?!?! My mistake was trying to provide an Uber customer SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and Uber burned me for it!! read more

They take 50 to 80% of the total fare. If you use your destination marker they can take up to 30 more? You have to pay your own taxes. Writers always say there's nobody out there no drivers. Well try tipping!!! You might get you might get 10 to 20 people to tip out of 100. Not worth driving 4. read more

Honestly I have never used Uber before as I was always hesitant but today I was in a bind because my car had to go into the shop and I had to be in the office by 6:00am so I decided to try Uber. Worst decision ever. I scheduled and Uber ride at noon, the day before I needed a ride. The day of my ride at my scheduled time for the Uber driver to arrive I got a message that a driver was not coming! I was now stranded outside of the dealership with no way to get to work as I already dropped my car keys into the after hours key drop box. Terrible experience! Already deleted the app off my phone which I just downloaded yesterday! read more

I called him because I live in Novi, my car is down, and I need a ride to Henry Ford hospital Thursday morning. I called him to find out if he could do it, and he told me that he doesn't make local runs. If he doesn't do local runs, then he should not say that he's a Novi/Bloomfield cab or taxi service. That would be false advertising. I regard that as unprofessional. If he no longer does local runs, then he should state that he does not do local runs.

But my husband and I just did not have the best stay. We were tent camping and we were down in the little valley for just small campers and tents. The dance floor was a lot of fun and they had a food truck there which was great for getting a good meal without having to use our own food. Had to really be wary of the golf carts as they are kind of just everywhere and zooming all throughout the place. Maybe borderline dangerous at times especially after people have had drinks. Rules also say no golf carts after dark but rules just aren't really enforced here I guess. We spent a lot of time at the pool and we were with a couple of friends but there were so many men just staring at us all day. It was just a bit creepy. Granted there were some friendly people of course but all those little things I mentioned just kind of put it downer on it. Staff was friendly at the office and this place really did look clean and was well kept. But just a couple of little things that bugged me.

Uber pricing is too much like an elevator goes up and down. I don't mind a little bit of fluctuation and price but when they go when they get in a ganged up area and there's too many Uber drivers there then they jack up the price because it's feaster family and they don't get nothing to eat if there's 15 drivers in a small area I'm experiencing that a lot. I mean an awful lot I used to use Uber all the time but I hardly use it at all anymore because it went downhill so bad And now that there's some talk that's out there. I can't tell you how I heard where I heard it but I understand I don't know if the regular drivers if they're independent drivers but there's some raping going on women are getting raped I heard and they're getting raped while they're using the rental car or taking the Uber car and I hate to say this, because my name will be attached to it, but this is what I heard there's anybody else from her that because I have I have some people that are in Texas and the poor girl was raped sodomized and everything so Uber people if you heard this please report this is as a topic of interest I wanna know cause I rebottle it if it if it's wrong I'll take it out but this is what I'm hearing and I have some lady Friendsthat need rides in one in Tampa Florida and she would like to come to Mississippi and the problem is I don't want to recommend her if she ends up getting raped now I would do a same one in Tampa Bay Florida Tampa area Florida. This is another illegal company. They do not check the backgrounds of the drivers and they do not carry commercial insurance so if you get into an accident and get hurt or dies you cannot recover off there personal auto insurance and they do not carry the city of toledo 100,000.00/300,000.00 insurance and and do not have a city to toledo license to operate.this is another company that the toledo police is investagating and the city of toledo. The driver is subject to arrest, car being towed and large fines. read more
