I'd recommend giving yourself extra time for your first visit; I've gotten lost twice and arrived late because of it. FEM Wellness is aware that some people experience difficulties finding their building, but they don't tell you that when booking your first appointment. Inside, the clinic is clean, spa-like and modern, and the staff was polite. They offer robes for that spa feel. Dr. Ernst was friendly and approachable during our interactions. However, I was disappointed overall, as I expected more in-depth holistic approach to women's health rather than something that felt like a med-spa focused primarily on surface-level hormones and aesthetics. Adjusting my hormone levels took an unusually long time, especially given my sensitive body type and ongoing health issues, including thyroid problems, ulcerative colitis, and autoimmune disease. The HRT has required multiple tweaks to get it right, and I'm still adjusting, which has been frustrating. More recently, I had a follow-up appointment scheduled with Dr. Ernst, but I experienced a severe ulcerative colitis flare-up and had to cancel with less than 48 hours' notice. (I had canceled within 43 hours.) I explained my situation to the receptionist... that I was quite ill and might not be able to reschedule for weeks or even months due to the unpredictable nature of my condition. While I appreciate that they didn't charge me for the cancellation and I understand the need for policies, this experience highlighted a lack of flexibility or compassion for patients with complex chronic illnesses, especially regarding women's health issues. Flares can strike without warning, making it challenging to commit to rigid scheduling. I was also told that if this happens again, I may be charged, with no "hope you feel better" or other words of empathy... the lack of warmth really concerned me. For those primarily interested in Botox, laser treatments, or straightforward hormone replacement in a spa-like setting, this might be a good fit. But if you're seeking a more in-depth evaluation of your overall health, comprehensive care, advanced hormone bloodwork, and thyroid/endocrine system care, I'd recommend checking out DECON across the parking lot with Dr. Kuhadiya instead. Inquire within and for their pricing. She's no ordinary gynecologist and this is no ordinary office. I patiently waited for this practice to open so I could switch over. I have never met a provider that has and shows genuine compassion to her patients like she has shown me over the years. Her knowledge and transparency helps me maneuver my health decisions. She's a God send in my life and over saw my last pregnancy. Unfortunately this office doesn't offer OB care, but I'm done having any more kids. They will refer you if you do need OB care. My most recent visit was today. There was an unavoidable hiccup with scheduling. Some customer service would have been nice from the office. I'm a loyal customer/patient and was told that I had to be rescheduled without a blink; although it was a lose lose situation. Of course I was frustrated, but thankfully Dr. Rajamand was able to get me in and out. My only recommendation would be to avoid incidents like today is get on top of the program that sends emails. I was lucky enough to work with her during my first pregnancy of my daughter. I can't express how absolutely WONDERFUL Dr. Perry is. Pregnancy can be scary and overwhelming--and leaving you full of questions! Every visit with Dr. Perry she took her time, answered my questions and left me feeling so comfortable and aware of what was going on with my body and baby each step of the way. Dr. Perry's bedside manner is always warm and welcoming... she truly cares for each and every one of her patients during and after pregnancy! Anywho, Dr. Thompson was very nice, patient, and professional. She answered our questions thoroughly in a way that made you feel you were talking to a good friend about serious questions. She seemed a little rushed, but never put that on us. Being a manager in retail, it is always hard to provide good customer service and the things you have to get done in a day. We are in the process of trying to have a child, and if we do in the next couple months we will be coming back to her. Unfortunately, we are moving in 5 months. I was so upset when Dr. Pollock retired and very nervous about finding another GYN that was as fantastic as Dr. Pollock. Well Dr. Hsu is every bit as competent as Dr. Hilton was. I am delighted to have found her. Her expertise, knowledge, thoroughness in understanding of women's issues, ability to listen to my symptoms, concern for my wellbeing and comfort, and has a lovely disposition. Let's face it, is very important to feel secure, and she has a sweet and funny personality. She is truly delightful, and I have full confidence in her decision and abilities. The waiting area is clean and comfortable and the staff are all professional and friendly. There is sometimes a bit of a wait to get in but they are really busy. The exam itself is painless a but uncomfortable, but not like the old machines used to be. The new technolgy makes a huge difference. Results are sent within one day. The only negative is my doctor (who is not in the Renown network) has to ask for the results to be sent to her and there have been significant delays in the past.

While the…read morephysicians themselves are wonderful, nearly every other aspect of this office has been incredibly disappointing. The biggest issue is the office culture. On multiple occasions, I overheard front desk staff gossiping about patients, discussing private phone calls, speaking negatively about patients in front of other patients, and even laughing about questions expectant mothers had called in to ask. Hearing that as a patient made me feel uncomfortable and concerned about the professionalism and confidentiality within the office. My experiences with one of the medical assistants, Amanda, were particularly frustrating. I found her to be dismissive and unprofessional. During appointments, I was never informed of my urine dip results, blood pressure, weight, or pregnancy weight gain even when I specifically asked. Given my history of gestational hypertension and preeclampsia, these are important numbers for me to know. When I asked Amanda if she could provide them during my visits, she simply told me, "No, I never provide these to patients." When I asked why, her response was, "I just don't." I later shared with another medical assistant--who was filling in--that I had been unhappy with my care and wished someone would review my vital signs with me during appointments. At my next visit, Amanda confronted me, laughing as she said, "I heard you told everyone here I'm mean to you because I don't tell you your blood pressure." I never said that. It left me feeling like my concerns had been discussed among staff rather than addressed professionally. I left that appointment so upset that I called my husband in tears. The practice also lacks many basic conveniences. There is no patient portal to review test results, appointment summaries, or track your pregnancy. Patients are expected to collect a urine sample at home on the morning of their appointment and transport it to the office. Because I work all day before my afternoon appointments, my sample would sit in my hot car for hours. When I mentioned this to Labor & Delivery staff, they expressed concern that this could affect the reliability of the specimen. Additionally, patients are required to prepay for their hospital delivery before the birth, which I found unusual and stressful. The physicians at this practice are knowledgeable and caring, and they are the only reason I gave this office any consideration at all. Unfortunately, the professionalism of the front desk staff, medical assistants, billing department, and overall office management significantly detracted from my experience. I sincerely hope the practice takes these concerns seriously because the physicians deserve a support staff that reflects the same level of professionalism and patient care.
