Now, I've never had a blowout or anything like this done before, so I honestly didn't know what to expect. I arrived 15 minutes early, and they took me right away--amazing first impression. And the salon? Wow. Holy Batman! Some of the cutest clothes, accessories, and little finds I've ever seen. I was tempted to shop the whole time! Now let's talk about Lexi--the star of the show. I had no clue what I wanted, so I told her to do her thing because she's the expert. And oh boy, am I glad I did. Lexi transformed my hair from "please don't leave the house without a hat" to "go out and show this off to the world!" It's a total holy Batman moment. The price was completely reasonable, and of course, I made sure to tip generously because Lexi absolutely deserved it. I walked out feeling refreshed, vibrant, and--dare I say--beautiful. On the day of my appointment, while I was already on my way to the salon, I received a call from the receptionist informing me that my appointment was being canceled last minute. Instead of offering a solution or urgency in rebooking, I was told it would be another two weeks before I could be scheduled for the same service. The only compromise offered was to split the services -- haircut one week, color the next -- which was not ideal, nor what I had booked or planned for. It was implied that the cancellation was due to my stylist calling out, and while no direct explanation was given, it happened to be the day after what I believe was their birthday -- which raises questions about the level of professionalism and planning. If something unavoidable came up, I would have appreciated an honest explanation and a sincere effort to accommodate me promptly--especially since I had already made arrangements and was en route. At the time I was working 70 hours a week and I specifically took time out of my workday to go do this seeing as I had no free time. To make matters worse, I later received an automated confirmation for an appointment I never scheduled or approved, which only added to the confusion. The stylists here are also the owners, Patrick and Kevin, which makes the lack of communication and client care even more frustrating. As business owners, I expected better accountability, professionalism, and respect for clients' time. Unfortunately, this experience left a bad taste in my mouth, and I won't be returning.

I have been searching for a salon and stylist that truly cares about the health of your hair and who knows how to cut hair properly. Most salons CANNOT cut hair professionally even though they charge you for said "professional cut." Angela will give you an outstanding cut. I firmly believe that my hair grew faster and healthier because of it. My hair was so damaged, tangled and breaking off from hormones and stress. Angela was so sweet and extremely informative about hair health and products. She has a pleasant and gentle energy that transfers to how she handles the service that you're getting. She is honest and gives you all the information regarding your hair as well as how to take care of it "after" the appointment. Every single time I go to Angela my hair looks and feels so healthy, shiny and gorgeous. My scalp feels clean and my my hair has so much body. My style lasts for 7 to 10 days guaranteed when I use a silk bonnet and minimal product. Angela is the best!! When I tell salons what happened, they don't even know who she did what she did or how it made sense to her. I think she works at the beach now (a previous coworker from one of the salons she's hopped between) informed me & only knew bc so many complaints came in about her. Be careful about April. She will ruin your hair! Oh, and 2 days after this happened to me, I showed a friend, and what are the odds that she did the EXACT same thing to her as well!!! If I knew she would be going to April for her hair, I would've warned her! She left with ORANGE HAIR instead of highlights. STEER CLEAR OF THIS LADY! 1.5 years later: still fixing the damage!!! Brazilian blowouts, deep conditioning treatments, constant trims bc she fried my hair and it constantly breaks off, and getting my hair colored and toned to cover and even out the leopard print orange hair she gave me! My hair was so unevenly cut, and does not grow quickly, so before it can grow, it dies. I am now stuck with shoulder length hair, unless it can magically grow faster than it dies. Hard to do when someone pours bleach on your head and damages it all! Oh, and I found out 2 days later she did this to a friend of mine as well. Certain it's intentional at this point, bc she then charges you to repair it. She wants you to pay to "fill in the spots with color and then tone it." What a joke she is! Oh, and she's working at a salon at the beach now. So be careful of April's at the beach, it could be her. A former coworker did my hair, and knew it was her, once I explained why my hair is in this condition. She apparently did this to several clients and was then fired. She's bounced between multiple salons doing this.
