Delicious food, and loved being able to sit outside! A friend had recommended a gyro and it was very fresh and tasty.

This was a spontaneous lunch stop for us today. The weather is beautiful, however still too cold for this business to set up their outdoor seating. Soon though!!!! This is a great lunch, salad, and or soup spot. It's counter service with self serve drinks. They do deliver the food to your table. We came on Thursday around 12:20 PM and it wasn't too busy. There is a great selection of sandwiches, including a vegan option. They also have an assortment of gluten-free products. We had the Horsin' Around roast beef sandwich, which came with Great Lakes potato chips, the Hummust Have wrap, which also came with chips. We ordered a bowl of the cream of mushroom soup, a cup of the tomato, basil soup, a coffee and soda. All were delicious. The hummus sandwich was more like a Greek salad in a wrap minus the cheese. I would've liked more hummus but then that would make a messy sandwich. The roast beef sandwich had a great flavor. The cream of mushroom soup was full of mushrooms and just needed a little salt for our liking. The tomato basil soup was good, but it tasted more like tomato sauce, heavy on the oregano for me. But again that's personal opinion. Customer service was excellent, the dining room and bathroom were both very clean. Lunch was a bit expensive at $40ish before tax and tip. We will be back. Make sure you stop in for breakfast or lunch when you're in the area! read more

Delicious sandwiches and great service- especially loved the spicy beef and the Reuben.

I spent over $56 on four breakfast burritos which should've had shredded pork in them it was more like bland mush. I was going to ask them to exchange the burritos but they are closed on Sundays. We couldn't go back the day we ordered them because we had an event to get to. I have three grown sons and myself and we split two burritos they were horrible. I figured if you spend so much and everybody wants outrageous prices anymore for things it should be good but this was overcooked pork clearly. We also were told it was a 15 minute wait and we waited 30 minutes at least. read more

Very cute breakfast and lunch spot, surprised it wasn't busier...maybe because it's not on the main street in Sutton Bay. I had a breakfast sandwich with excellent GF bread (they also had GF wraps). My husband had the roast beef sandwich, which he thought was just ok. The women working here were all very nice. The rating here is for my sandwich which was really really good. read more

We tried this place on a Saturday morning after there were long lines at the usual spots. Very glad we did--food was fantastic and the service was prompt and friendly. They have signature potato pancakes that come with most breakfast dishes--was very flavorful and a great compliment to the scramble I got. Husband got corned beef that was great. I do not know where to start. This little restaurant off of the bike trail is amazing! The only bad thing about this place is you cannot decide what to have there are so many great choices! My husband and I stopped in today On our bike ride and decided upon the Greek salad and the hamilitious sandwich. As we were walking out to our seats outside I noticed the soup of the day was chicken jalapeño. We definitely had to try that too! Everything was amazing! I came back later in the day to buy more soup to take home. The staff is friendly and helpful the atmosphere is clean Has indoor and outdoor seating. I highly recommend it! read more

This is a really solid little sandwich shop! Friendly staff, imaginative sandwiches and a homey feel on the interior. We had the Hammy Ham Ham, Toasty Roast and a kids' grilled cheese--all were a hit. The roast beef needed a bit more salt, but I look forward to trying their breakfast! read more

First time ever here, but certainly won't be my last. I had the "Spicy Blue". It was a roast beef and blue cheese sandwich. One of the best sandwiches I've ever had over my 64+ years. I was with a group of six , and they all loved it too. They had BLT's, ham, and Gyro sandwiches. We loved the employees, as well. Very knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. A+++ read more

I LOVED this little place and am so glad we finally stopped! Walking in smelled amazing! I'm not typically struck by smells upon initially entering a restaurant, but these were too yummy not to notice. The gal who took our order at the counter was friendly and helpful. She was able to speak to the food, lending to my ability to better choose my meal. Mmmmm, my Eggscelenta breakfast sandwich was muy excelenté! His Pesty Turkey was also very good, in-spite of his disappointment for not getting more chips. Love that they serve the local Northwoods soda - and on tap! Love that they have a plethora of fresh (homemade!) soups they offer on a rotating business. Loved watching the fresh-baked, steaming, peach crisp come out of the kitchen and be put on display to be ordered. Loved how clean and quaint. Loved the feel of it being comfortable enough to enjoy solo, as part of a couple, or as part of a (small) group. This will most definitely become a go-to for hanging out solo with a coffee and some work or book, a breakfast or lunch with hubs, or an option for trusted carry-out. read more

Great sandwich place tucked away in a strip center just off of M-22 as you enter Suttons Bay. My wife had the Pulled, Pickled and Pressed, a nice rendition of the classic Cuban sandwich and I had the Not from Philly also a tasty take on Philly cheesesteak with tender beef and crisp green peppers. Definitely will come back. read more

From the first bite to the last scrumptious but---easily one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. So fresh, top notch ingredients and made with pride you can tell. Meats are cooked/roasted in house and absolutely juicy! My husband and I split the Horsin ' Around Roast beef sandwich and it was Huge! Made with in house roasted lean antibiotic and nitrite free roast beef, house made crunchy pickled red onions, horseradish cheese and herb mayo fresh lettuce and tomato on grilled sourdough. And boy it was a winner. Added bonus that it was under $10 for the 2 of us! Hope these people stay in business a long long time because we intend to try everything they offer. What a lovely surprise to find this sandwich shop while driving through Lake Leelanau. Finding a restaurant to please my family of five can be difficult because my three children have "simple" yet picky tastes, my husband enjoys a nice sandwich with meat, and I'm a vegetarian. Lylah's made us all happy beginning with their warm welcome. I had the vegetarian wrap, which I've had to endure plenty of because it is usually the only vegetarian choice on a menu, but the flavor and ingredients in this one were amazing! The children's grilled cheeses were gourmet and a huge hit. Can't remember the name of the chicken sandwich my husband got, but he raved about it.
