um! How did i not do a review from my first visit?!?!? Chi is AMAZING. This was my first lymphatic drainage detox so I didn't know what to expect. Shye was welcoming, caring and a wealth of information. She explains each phase along with the what, why and how. It's extremely helpful if you like to know the science behind things and what benefits to expect. Though I fell asleep about 1/3 of the way in as it's so incredibly relaxing. And I mean asleep/out cold. when she wakes you up (gently of course), you have to get your bearings of where are you. I had about 3.5 weeks of the best sleep of my life ... I went to bed and was able to fall asleep within the first 5-10 minutes and stayed asleep (no 3-4am waking up with the mind racing) until 6-6:30am, fully refreshed and ready to start my day with energy. It was the greatest feeling to have and sustained for so long. I also had benefits as she worked the inflammation of my cheek, underarms and belly away. My skin was clear, hydrated and glow-y. I went back from my second session and due to food poisoning from a vacation, I had a lot of tension built throughout my body that she was able to work through and out during the 75 minutes session. I had such a great experience with Chi! I decided to try lymphatic drainage at 3 months postpartum because my stomach felt heavy, like I was holding onto extra fluid after giving birth. After my session, I felt lighter and less bloated over the next few days. I'm also exclusively pumping, and the massage on my upper arms and chest felt incredible. I came in for a prenatal lymph massage. I was a little worried it was going to be a painful experience, but Chi applied the perfect amount of pressure that my body needed. Chi is an angel. Her touch is very calming. She has a very positive transfer of energy to your body. After the process, I felt lighter and my body felt relaxed. Being pregnant, I was retaining a lot of water and swelling because of it. Having the massage done helped detox my body and calm down the swelling. My first lymphatic drainage massage with Chi was transformational and completely unexpected! I didn't know what to anticipate going into the session other than its potential to relieve stress, anxiety, body pain, and detox (but how does this detox actually feel?) etc. Not only did I experience all of the above but it became an emotional experience as well. I seemed to have a lot of trauma bottled up inside and once the emotional release occurred, I started to cry. I was in complete shock. I also have had some gut health issues for some time now and pleased to say that since my session (which was 3 days ago), it is apparent that my lymphatic system is functioning the way it should be! I feel lighter, cleansed, detoxified and more in tuned with my body. At first, my stomach area was resisting the technique but with patience and proper breathing, we prevailed together. Before seeing her at Lymph Detox LG, I went to her at Revive Lymphatic after I had a deep-plane facelift, brow lift, upper eyelid lift and lip lift, and the difference she made in my healing was truly remarkable.
