I saw that MJ had lots of positive reviews so since this was my first time I looked for availability with her. I was having shoulder pinching from workout and work (sitting at a desk typing) and let her know and she was amazing. I recently had an appointment with Karlo that went awesome! I have had a great amount of pain in my neck and shoulder area over the last couple of weeks, and was looking for some relief. Yelp helped me find them! The office itself it very cozy, and the rooms are bigger than I thought; very comfortable and warm :) Karlo was very professional, taking time to find out the reason I was there, and giving me some insight on why I maybe experiencing this type of pain. I'm super happy with this place and thankful that I've found my forever massage therapist. Javier is always so professional, knowledgeable, gentle but effective, kind, and funny. My body has been aching for months. On Friday, I had enough and did a yelp search to find somewhere to go. I decided to schedule an appointment for Sunday with Kelly (being able to go one a Sunday also a plus). I didn't really know what to expect but decided anything would be better than nothing. My expectations were beyond exceeded. I've had good massages at many places but never left feeling this good and impressed. I liked that I didn't have to pick the type of massage beforehand. When I got there I talked to Kelly about what my exact issues were and she customized the massage to my needs/wants. One of the most impressive things to me was how she could read my body (better than me), she knew more about my habits in 60 minutes than most people do in general. I also appreciates that she took the time to explain everything to me (like the cause of my pain) and then showed me stretches and techniques that would help me going forward. Javier is my guy! I've been going to him every 3 to 4 weeks for a year now. He is amazing at deep tissue massages and really works in the areas that are tight and not just does he massage but explains how all the muscles are connected and how they effect each other. I've had to call in for last minute massages due to pain and he takes me in on the same day, love the last minute appointments! Nicole is amazing! I hadn't had a massage for a REALLY long time and was having sever neck and shoulder pain. I chronically hold all my tension in these areas. I book 90 mins because I knew it would take that long get a real benefit ...relief! I really stressed with Nicole that while I wanted a whole body massage, I wanted to man focus to be in the neck and shoulders. He's absolutely amazing - he listens to my needs and suggests reasons as to why my body might be aching and what I can do at home to help ease tension between my visits =) He's so friendly and I feel super comfortable with him. I saw Javier on Sat. after finding this team of massage therapists on Yelp. I have done monthly massages with some great folks in the past at Massage Envy but it has been a year or more since. My neck and back were extremely tight from stress and work and I was amazed how Javier found all the right pressure points and massage methods to walk out after 90 minutes looser than I recall in a year. He did a superb job at slowly working my back to warm it up and then work everything out. I am seeing him again this coming Sat. for another 90 minutes and look forward to it. I had a one hour massage with Tricia. I have gone to her two times and will continue to do so. Location is convenient and quiet. She is professional and easy to talk to. I feel safe and comfortable and am able to drift off to a deeply relaxed place. I can feel my tight muscles loosening as she works. I asked for medium pressure and it was just right for me. I knew if it wasn't, I could ask for more or less pressure. The room had an air filter and a lovely water element which I loved. Music was calming. I scheduled a 1-hr session with Andrea to help with tight, sore hamstrings. It was my first visit to a massage therapist, and I was a little apprehensive. Andrea took great care to explain what the session would entail, and asked a lot of questions regarding the nature of my soreness. Bonus for first-timers: There is a note posted in her room with a list of massage "FAQs" that answered all of the massage etiquette questions I had (talking or no talking, underwear on or off, etc). Super helpful and appreciated. Andrea understands the physical aches and pains experienced by runners. She applied just the right amount of pressure (medium) and checked with me several times to make sure I wasn't uncomfortable. She also recommended a couple of stretching exercises to help alleviate hamstring soreness. The entire experience was amazing. I was able to run the day after the massage with no discomfort. I plan to make Andrea's massages a regular part of my marathon training. read more

I've been seeing Andrea for a couple of months now. It started with just some routine maintenance (I'm a runner) on my legs and hips. For some reason, no matter how much I stretch, my muscles are always tight. She was able to help me loosen my muscles. Then recently I developed PF in my left foot and was out for a couple of weeks. She was able to work on the bottom of my foot and I was back running within a couple of weeks. I definitely have Andrea on my schedule at least once a month! After reading the reviews of Body Rest on Yelp I thought I'd give it a try. My appointment was with Javier, and I felt warmly welcomed when I arrived in the cozy yet efficient office. After learning it was my first experience with therapeutic massage, Javier went over the basics and we discussed what I'd like him to focus on. As a typical Silicon Valley tech worker, who spends most of his day in front of computers, I was tired of having my neck feel stiff and even locked up, and my shoulders and upper back aching. After giving me time to disrobe and get comfortable on the *heated* massage table, Javier came in to the therapy room and got to work. I found him to be both personable and professional. We chatted as we got started, but I have to confess that within ten or fifteen minutes, I was too focused on the sensation of relaxing muscles to hold up my end of the conversation. I have seen Javier three times now (and will be scheduling my next visit soon). Each time I feel more and more relaxed in my back, shoulders, and neck.
