My husband and I came to Yvette Spa By Jackie to celebrate our first wedding anniversary to treat ourselves. We came for the Couple's Massage (regular massage). I had made an appointment but we arrived 15 ish minutes early and were still seen immediately. As a fan of Thai Massage, this regular massage was a lot more enjoyable from a pain perspective. Actually relaxing rather than energizing but still effective after you walk out the door. Everyone was very nice, and we received services for the full hour. Given the cash price, this was a very good experience for the value, and I would definitely consider coming back the next time I'm looking for a more relaxing massage rather than an energizing one. read more

Honestly, the massage wasn't bad, but the whole vibe felt off. Toward the end, the lady kept hinting that I should leave a bigger tip, and it felt kinda weird. I'm all for tipping well when it's deserved, but it started to feel like she was expecting more in exchange for the service. It just didn't sit right with me. One of the best massages I've ever received! I got a 90 minute massage at this cute little place on short notice. Very comfortable beds and ambient atmosphere. Deep tissue service was perfect. My massage therapist worked out all my knots and it was a true full body massage including hands, feet and scalp. Felt like a new woman afterwards and great in the following days. Honest review: my girlfriend's birthday was yesterday, and so I booked with them the night before. We booked for 4:30 pm and when we came, we had a positive experience. Here's what I observed for us as a couple who have never gotten a massage: 1: When we came in we were offered water and asked if there was anything we wanted specifically done, and then when we were ready they led us to a private room and it was super cute. It was adorned with pretty decorations, their was ambient music- so it was nice to see. 2: The beds were neat- they were heated. I am a really big and overweight guy, but I fit on the bed decently. 3. I got the deep tissue massage and my girlfriend the regular one. I am not the type to speak about something I don't like, so I didn't ask for anything harder- as a big guy, I probably should've asked for a big tougher, but still it felt super great. They put a nice oil or something on my back and it felt good- but more importantly, my girlfriend LOVED what they did (even though she was a bit ticklish!) 4. When we finished, we paid cash (they were cash preferred) and tipped each masseuse 20 bucks. They gave my girlfriend a birthday treat at the very end. I just went there for my birthday with my daughter for messages with appointments. We arrive 10 min early and were greeted right away although I had a very hard time understanding what was said. After waiting 10 min after the scheduled time we finally were taken to our rooms after confusion that we wanted a couples message. I was just settling in after about 10-15 min into my message and I was rudely interrupted. I was asked to move rooms because another customer wanted the room they put me in. I was then rushed into another room barely even dressed. Why would you do that? I was already in the middle of a service. I chose not to be second best and left. It is really too bad as I am a repeat customer as are several friends. I've recommended this place also. NO MORE. I don't like sloppy seconds. Ps. The husband of the owner called just now to "make it right". He could speak good English thankfully however a little too late to make it right. Making an appointment for this spa was super easy thanks to Jackie! I messaged her on Yelp and she responded within 30 minutes. She was very nice to answer my questions on massages and pricing and was able to schedule my boyfriend and I for a couples massage the following week. The day before, she sent me a text reminder for the appointment. The spa itself is located in downtown Los Gatos. There is a small parking lot but it's shared with a salon next door so the parking was full for us. Luckily, there was street parking available. We arrived at our appointment and they had the room ready and set up for us. Nancy and Amy were great masseuses! They asked us what pressure we wanted and really provided a great and soothing experience. I'm usually a bit ticklish but I was immediately comfortable. I enjoyed the hot stones and I liked that the wipe you down after all of the oils used on you at the end. For payment, if using card - there is a $3 fee so bring cash and enough for tip as well! Yiiiiiiiiikes!!! This place made me SUPER uncomfortable Everything seemed fine when I first walked in, however, I was never introduced to my masseuse. Ok no big deal.. the massage was..... weird. She kept getting WAY too close to my no-no zone, and I kept feeling her hair brush on my back. I was unsure what she was trying to do. When I turned over she had me sit up and that was the first time I actually saw my masseuse. She kept touching me strangely. Then when it was time to pay, this lady in a super short red dress, boobies all out, with super fake eyelashes and way too much makeup, checked me out. I gave a tip, nothing too generous. Simply 20% they were SO grateful and happy. It felt unauthentic and weird. And they kept saying 'come back again!' Idk man.. I don't think it's just massage here. I don't like them in LG. The 3 of us wanted a professional and relaxing massage after a long working week however most spas were booked that day. I called and they had open spots for us. The ladies were kind, nice and their wardrobe was a bit risqué (bowchicawowow vibes with low cut dresses exposing ass-ets - not a big deal) so I'm not surprised certain men would give them a five star . My hubby and I are very experienced when it comes to professional spas + massage therapists and typically if your a new customer the staff has you sign an intake form to understand your medical conditions for legal purposes just in case you have any pre existing issues and this place did have us fill out a form. I felt like I was in a kind of place where their expertise is not massaging . The massage itself was ROUGH. I told the massage therapist, "not so hard please" but she kept on with her technique. It was like killing me. After I asked her what style of massage technique did she use (so I never ask for it again), she said mixed.... Mixed with what? Thai? Swedish? Hot Stone special? Kill you style no Just mixed.... My hubby also experienced the same and he is a Marine (not active), massaging hard on his spine and calves... They didn't offer water which is necessary for your muscles after a long massage + typically they give you instructions on after massage care like drink a lot of water. I have been going to see Kim, who does nails/pedicures for about 3 years now. My husband and I are moving out of state and I wish I could take Kim with me! I want to leave an honest and helpful review before I move. I'm surprised to see a recent poor review of Kim (7/15/23). Anyone who has a conversation with Kim, knows she speaks English (not something I even look at because I am not a racist). Kim has always been great and she and the owner, Jackie, treat me with care and kindness. I get primarily pedicures from Kim and she always takes her time, massages my feet and legs and I always leave feeling relaxed. I have never had any infections or problems because she uses clean/sterile equipment. The salon is peaceful and overall has a pleasant atmosphere.
