It took him a month after he said he'd finish laying sand to actually come to our house and do it. When he was done, the sand was at a fairly steep angle. When, I told him I needed the land level, he said he made it angled on purpose to drain water. I asked him to level it and he said that no where in the contract did it state that the area for the pool had to be level. He just came and got his equipment after 2 weeks of leaving it in my yard, and he left all of the huge sand bags that he used. I joked with my girlfriend that even though I put the sand bags right in the bucket of his equipment he would probably just leave them in our yard which of course, he did. He also put a road in to get his equipment up to the pool area and left it in. That road now dumps water on to my driveway which freezes. He said he could fix that problem for another 6 thousand dollars. One day he was smoking marijuana on the job which might explain why he took out a piece of my garage and threw a tantrum where he was yelling at and kicking his trailer. I would not use this company again. I showed my Supervisor who needed some landscaping done, the work he did and he thought it was really nice. Then I told him the down side to using this company and instead of driving business to this company, I unfortunately had to strongly advise against using them.

The tire marks from their truck made quite an indent in my front lawn. He told me he would fill them in with topsoil. Well..the topsoil he used was from the area of brick wall they took down so the "soil" was covered in rocks, stones and good size pieces of brick. A lawn mower would have broken their blades from this . I called twice to have this fixed and had no return call or message, leaving me to rake and pick up buckets and buckets of rocks, etc. and spent my money to get proper top soil so i could reseed my lawn. He also left the top of the previous wall's slate pieces in my back yard against my house. I can't lift them. Totally unacceptable in so many levels. I would never use them again or recommend them. Clean up was part of the deal.

They sent us a 2 men crew, which we realized later must have been their "B" or "C" team. They were inexperienced and/or just careless with their work. They appeared to be younger (age-wise) and one of them had long curly hair. I only mention this because that curly hair is now encased in polyurethane coating throughout the refinished wood areas around our home. There were multiple areas where the hardwood floors was missing stain and poly. Don't recommend.

Within six months, large sections of the sealant had come up. A year later, it's even worse. These are in low-traffic areas - no cars or bikes. And no "moss," as they ridiculously tried to tell me. They offered to do a touchup, but that would have left a different texture and color on there a year later. It is important to note that their work does not carry a warranty. I did not realize this when we hired them (my fault!). Thus, they refused to make it right and redo the driveway. Presumably, they used a cheap product. Avoid at all costs; spend your money elsewhere for a driveway that will last.
